I used to spend 20 to 30 dollars every month just to support the game i like, But after EOD release i cant justify this any more , so i stopped and i haven't get more gems or anything else from the store. This XP is bad and unaspirated and i don't see a bright future for GW2.

Well every time i finish a legendary i feel more like a relief than a joy to tell you the true.

This is one of the most boring system this game has, not just for the system, but the rewards are pathetic. Sometimes you end up doing a lot of things for just 1 AP, really? Not to mention that it seems like they only add like 2 or 3 achievements that worth doing per expansions.

I give you the solution, keep progression as it is, but instead of putting everything on the gem store, design some stuff that can be unlockable through achievement playing the game. Like mounts skins. This could even be a good idea to bring dungeons back.

I will be surprised if they release any map at all, or anything else but festivals.

If you compare it with the other part of the game, yes, EoD is disappointing IMO. I bought it and i regret it, because i dont like it at all and i just stop playing on EoD maps without even finish them.

Fresh 11 months? They had spring, summer and autumn break. The only thing they have done all this time is balance classes and fix bugs, problem that they created in the first place.

Wasn't part of their philosophy "is ready when is ready"? I am afraid there is nothing left of what Arenanet was.

Took them years to make this massive copy/paste green fest, so good luck getting something out of it.

Or maybe next month or the other or maybe by summer, meanwhile let's milk up those same repetitive events or just re-release something they made on the past and call it done.

Are you kidding right? Those events are the same we have had for several years now. The only difference this year they remove the food, thing that I don't care much.

Let's recap their "road maps" We want dungeons, we don't want dungeons anymore let's abandon them and do Fractals, we don't want Fractals anymore, let's do Strikes. We don't want Raids, now we DO want Raids.

I don't disagree with you. I admit, I participate on them, do i like them? Hell no. I like to play the game to have fun, not to be "efficient"

You don't need nothing from the store to play the game at any level. They are "debatable", sure, but you don't need them. For me Meta events play an important role on this kind of gameplay style.

Yes, Meta Events are like Fast Food, especially those you mention. The problem is deeper than you think. End Game in this game is about fashion/Legendary. There a couple of interesting things to get in the game but most are acquired through the gem store. To buy those items you need gold or cash, (Imagin supporting the game you like and spend 15, 20 Dollars a month). Same problem with every single free to play game, at least this one is not pay to win, bordering with some items, yes, but you can go away without them.

I play at 4K with a Rtx 4090 pair with a I9 12900K and during metas i have around 50 FPS and during open world or fractals 250 FPS.

It was not fixed with yesterday patch or with the new nvidia drivers.

I have the same problem. It will be nice if someone at Arenanet can do a follow up in this issue.

It is happening to me as well, game crash randomly.

Yes, i am from Arizona and using Cox as internet provider. The game is unplayable since yesterday as well. My ping goes from the normal ~80 to ~4000. Router, signal, and speed all good. i used a work around installing a game VPN so i can route my connection through different nodes and the lag spikes are gone, but i wont like to pay for this service. Please Arena Net check this issue.

I checked my modem and signal is good and no uncorrected errors on modem, i can play other games with no problems, so i assume is a problem with ArenaNet and Guild Wars 2. They should look into it asap because the game is unplayable. Now i am using a game VPN(BattlePing) and the spikes are gone, but i dont want to pay for another service.

I cant play the game since yesterday May 12, lag spikes all the time, my ping goes from 80 to 4000. Im on the West Coast and using Cox as internet provider.
