You have only seen 1 because the good cheaters only apply tiny mods to give them an edge so you can barely notice alot of the time, other more obvious ones are when someone has no boons yet is running faster than super speed, and overwhelmingly obvious is when the cheater is literally under the floor. Without a report cheat option I believe report scam is your only fall back here as that is exactly what they are trying to do, scam you out of winning.
  2. It is a 900 range aoe scanning pulse, how do you avoid being detected without for example mesmer distortion. even if you were blocking it would still detect you, even if you were dodging you wouldnt randomly be hiding from the sensor.
  3. They should just make the bomb kit unblockable and the big ol bomb a gigantic long fuse keg that says "if you are still near this, you deserve the damage"
  4. Maybe they would actually be to buff some stuff if the grenades weren't absurdly strong
  5. simple fix: remove 1 grenade from the grenade kit in line with the rifle changes to streamline the damage
  6. realistically literally anyone with condition damage will completely prevent that build from playing the game at all.

They seem to have nerfed literally every single engineer build that does not use grenades and not by any small margin either, just about every one of them has had an almost 40% nerf to their damage output. Yet for some reason grenades and numerous other classes that basically doubled the damage of the unnerfed versions have been ignored.

I kinda feel that they should just rework the elixirs to all toss and then put different elixirs on the toolbelts, for example they could rename Elixir R to elixir E and have it give the barrier like the alchemy trait and then elixir R would be the toolbelt to revive people, This would allow them to unhook the toolbelt and main elixir to make them more interesting I think and make the elixirs a much more solid support tool in line with more modern tools.

Congratulations, you are now at 90% quickness uptime To double this, equip tools traits, gadgeteer and throw mine. In fact your uptime is so high that you can just berserker equip all of your accessories through this method

  11. You know people just buy gladiator left and right in that game right? There is basically no integrity at all left in WoW, originally in the early days of that game, you would be banned for doing that but not anymore. If the developers stop caring then I don't see how or why any community would. The gw2 team at least are trying to make balance changes, sure they screw up sometimes and sure they make weird 40% flamethrower nerfs for some reason but at least they don't leave frost death knight with the same garbage runic empowerment resource system for 10+ years running despite the original resource system for the class being vastly superior in every single way.
  12. It's a good fallback game for when every other game is not doing very good like right now. and lol if you think WoW's arena is competetive you may want to find a needle for that bubble, WoW is like the most developer-rigged pvp on the market.
  13. i believe the build people complain about is the condi one that seems to be weak to clean scrapper support because it has absurd condition cleanse and turns the catalyst into a free boon/regen applier for the team.

You need to just accept it, in terms of healing other people, the scrapper specialisation literally only provides the medic gyro and that's it and you have to give up the med kit just to get that, it has things that could techncially help healing but these are generally more tank oriented abilities designed to protect allies rather than heal them and the mechanist wil just heal way better as the mechanist is actually getting a 20% healing increase to regeneration making it have extremely high regen values while it's shields do not put the mechanist themselves in danger at all like with the scrapper.

The medic gyro is more of a tank gyro The shredder is dps Blast gyro is dps Bulwark gyro is a tank gyro purge gyro is also a tank gyro Sneak gyro is more a dps gyro because of sneak attacks/escapes etc The difference between a tank and a healer skill is that tank skills prevent damage while healer skills restore that damage back, as such the scrapper has effectively zero capabilities tailored to being a healer.

The simple answer to this is that you don't, because this is like trying to make a berserker warrior into a healer, it is a rediculous concept and one that they shouldn't even take into account when balancing the scrapper, the scrapper is meant to turn it's enemies into scrap, not heal things and because of this it has effectively no relevant healer traits at all.
  17. what are you talking about how does this make it more interesting in any way? There is no actual gameplay involved, you just lose cooldown time thus meaning you get to play the game LESS when the mechanic buff fades at range.

  20. It's been years and I'm still waiting for this elusive projectile opening to be able to damage an elementalist long enough to out damage their water phase immediately after, and thats only one encounter.
  21. I think the only way to do it is to use the action camera which will allow you to hold the mouse button down to dps

What's really frustrating with this mechanic is that you are getting actively punished for playing well and I don't like that, if i use the pistol and shield combo, I will want to maintain a respectable distance from my target while my mech runs in to attack, the result is that my mech is just unconditionally nerfed despite the fact that I play correctly.

The big flaw with "good positioning" is that the mechanist is extremely tanky, it should not be focusing much on positioning since it does not benefit from doing so, it is an elite that benefits from being directly in the enemies face, and also ruining the enemys positioning (this is why pvpers always rage at the mech). Also, It does not make sense to focus on positioning when you cannot actually control your mechs position, thus this mechanic does not reward good positioning but rather it rewards bad positioning, namely wherever your mech randomly decides to run off to. This effect exists for nothing more than to interfere with the mechanists rifle gameplay in pvp, which is no longer even relevant due to a heavy nerfing.
