  1. If they did create them, they would probably be premium skins at 2000gems. And it's probably a lot more work than we realize.
  2. This is why I questioned it several posts back. I didn't understand the expectation and disappointment when it was never said that a strike mission would be released with every chapter. Perhaps I read too much into your complaint. If so, then sorry for the confusion.
  3. Clayton Kisko (Senior Game Designer) said the following at the announcement of Icebrood Saga Episode 1."A new type of content, known as Strike Missions, is coming with the new Living World. This is 10-player content against challenging bosses and are meant to be an easier stepping stone to raids. This comes with a Public Mode where anyone looking to go for the same boss as you in the map will be put in the same squad, which should allow for more organisation as you tackle open world content together. " Unfortunately I can't find the official link atm, but here is a review website if you wanna read about it in detail.http://virtuallyinterrupted.com/the-icebrood-saga-announcement-summary/Thanks, again. Where does it state that there will be a strike mission released with each and every chapter? That is what I am trying to find out.
  4. Forums search is your friend. https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/118469/new-mastery-insight
  5. There are many threads already about this. Anet isn't going to add translations. For more information, please use the forums search function to read the existing threads on the topic.
  6. In a game that is free to play (just bear in mind that it used to be pre-paid content), overpricing cosmetic garbage I think does reflect poorly. I get only the impression that ANet just want to make money out of me, not that they're so passionate about their game that they appraise it too highly, as if they're innocently ignorant. There's so much unappealing cosmetic/utility kitten on the store that I can't help but feel like if they poured that development time into more functional content—as we've all seen that they can pull off flawlessly—then it would give a lot of the prices some meaning. I don't want a will they/won't they situation when it comes to expansions, either—I want to see evidence of a hard roadmap that they'll follow through to the end.So, I get it. In your opinion of the way things are in your view that yes the game is dying. Practically everything you're saying here is personal preference and not fact. And that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. What they're doing right now is clinging to what's left of the game, banking heavily on the new expansion that until a good few months ago wasn't going to happen, when they were laying staff off.Layoffs were never about GW2. I really wish people would remember history and stop repeating this false pretense. When they do finally stop releasing major updates, the BLTC will still remain, perhaps with the odd few additions, waiting to sap more money out of those who want to keep the game running. And if the prices don't remain the same when that happens, then they'll be even more ridiculous.Pure conjecture and speculation. Neither of us knows if this will happen or not. Also, any pricing is subjective. Clearly enough players don't object to the current state of things or else Anet wouldn't price their cosmetics as they have. If you want to see some evidence of this, then look at the predecessor game. Take from this what you will, though. I think the message is there though and is very clear.Evidence of what, exactly? The game dying or Anet sapping more money out of those who want to keep the game running?
  7. I don't find that it reflects poorly on a company that provides a game that is free to play. Some of the more pricey items in the gem store are equivalent to a month or two of another game's subscription. When looked at things in this light, I find the pricing to be very fair, especially for cosmetic adds to the game which are in no way required to play. Now, personally, I do make the value judgement on items in the gem store, but that's my own perception on a case-by-case basis.
  8. Here's a post that might be helpful: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/1368599/#Comment_1368599
  9. Make it more realistic? Take away all magic and all non-human races. Remove all creatures that aren't currently found IRL. Character death is irrecoverable.
  10. Here Thanks. My point was that I didn't recall ANet saying that each LS chapter would have a strike mission which was inferred by this post: I don't remember this claim.
  11. I guess the term "toxic" means "doesn't interact with me" because that's pretty much all we've been hearing
  12. "We" don't need anything. You want this. I don't want it. I don't need it either.
  13. Wouldn't that be more of a cloak than a cape?
  14. Keybinding is not too difficult. And requires no additional development. EDIT: Also, QoL suggestions should go here: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/53097/suggestions-qol-quality-of-life-ideas-merged
  15. Well a lot of people buy cosmetic outfits, skins etc from the gem store and I believe a lot of people would buy housing decorations or even some house types from the gem store. Personally I would probably spend some money on the mentioned cosmetic items.A lot of people farm gold to convert to gems to purchase cosmetics from the gem store. I don't know if this would increase the amount of actual cash that would be spent.
  16. Why does GW2 have to have somethings that other games have?
  17. Then Asura should have smaller mounts. Or smaller humans. Or larger mounts for larger Norn. Etc.... I don't think that the mounts were created in such a way as to allow them to be customized to the extent that many would like. Any change now would probably entail an entirely new structure with new skins and so on. Not discounting the request; just not seeing how it could be implemented without significant resource cost.
  18. You might want to watch this thread for announcements.
  19. Forgot about Charred and Cinders. I like and use those, too.
  20. Putting things on a timer? Isn't this what sunk LS1?
