  1. I mean, that is what LFG and Guilds are for though. Seems kinda silly to queue for a public mission and then complain about the players you get. Yeah, fair enough. My post was more a response to the guy saying to do it all solo :)
  2. Unless Anet chip in we will need to wait and see, but I think it almost certain there will be more. There are two more of these supporter events to go after this one, which I expect will include new actual content ;). And then we have the finale. Gotta be some mastery points in that!
  3. Because it has!! New Mobilizing Allies event has started xD.I think that highlights exactly the point being made about communication!
  4. ...and I guess some people in MMOs like playing.. with other people??
  5. The Tengu merchant is there now (they hang around for 1 week after the event) and I believe the new guy/event arrives in 4 1/2 hrs. But, it's not a big deal I know :). Just don't want to waste today's opportunity to buy from the new merchant, just in case he has something really juicy to offer! We can dream, right!
  6. Thanks but my question is whether it also resets when the merchant changes. So, today, can I buy rom the Tengu now and then buy from the new merchant when he arrives?
  7. Does someone know for sure, if you buy 5 marks for materials early on a Tuesday, from the merchant for the previous event, are you able to buy 5 more after the merchant for the new event arrives, or is that tab locked out until the next day? E.g. can we safely buy from the Tengu tomorrow and then buy from the Olmakhan (assuming that is who it is) the same day?
  8. Then you have a guy at the beginning you talk to to say you are ready. This mechanic has been used already in many instances.
  9. For CMs, the escort phase is legit, given the timer. A fair addition to just a DPS check. But, the pre-events, I agree, could totally be dropped
  10. Wow, seems like you've had some real bad luck. Hopefully, today you'll be more fortunate. Not sure multiple FBs and scourges are even a good idea, as it's not a timed defence where you just have to hold out for, say 5, mins. You have to kill quite a large number of mobs. If you've got too much support I imagine you will struggle to progress and eventually some may get through your line to the NPCs.
  11. Seriously, this achievement is a breeze if one person tanks the south mob lane and the other four rack up kills on north. The guy on south doesn't even have to kill anything just hold the couple of mobs on south at bay and stop them reaching the npcs. That phase ends when a certain number of mobs are killed, not when waves are cleared, so it actually goes quicker if four are all at north where most of the mobs spawn. The achievement is granted at the end of that phase (before the boss), so you don't even need to be capable of completing the DRM within the timer.
  12. AFAIK, you can get enough Mastery points for the entire Icebrood season without doing any of the costly weapon achievements.Absolutely you can. So far there are 70 mastery points available. You are currently able to master up to 54 with 9 still required, in future chapters, to max out. So 63 needed for the whole of IBS, leaving 7 spare right now and more opportunities to gain mastery points expected in later chapters. I currently have 68 and am missing the Volcanic Stormcaller collection and Dragon Response Expert (16/30). I have all the currently available masteries and 14 spare. More than enough to complete the tracks even without any MPs that may come later. When IBS is done we will probably have 10-15 spare mastery points, easily enough to avoid any costly grinds.
  13. Yeah, they icreased the price of everything for some reason, even the boxes are now 3 relics instead of 2, but only problem with that for me is that the achievement will take longer, and if i miss a day or two i won't be able to complete it lol.if you not missed no days anyway you can collect all skins .. So may be no big reason about low drop, anyway it not complete itAs I speak precisely zero languages other than English I hate to comment on the English of others but, what does this mean?? I really cannot understand either sentence. You definitely cannot collect enough marks to buy all the weapons, even if you skip the mastery(!) and the 10 boxes for the supporter achievement, if that is what you are saying?? You will be 5 marks short by my calculation, including an extra week of buying marks for mats. The 2nd sentence I can't even guess at.
  14. Well so are AB's unfortunately. I think I spent 2 hours in a map before it completed. There was no need to do that, though. You only needed to participate in the Octovine, which is easy to join only 5 mins before, using lfg. Octovine takes about 5 mins these days(! I remember when it was a challenge), so the daily could be done in about 10 mins, although most would probably want to loot the chests afterwards. But having thought about this some more I think they intended this daily to take 1hr+ and only with this release have they worked out how to do it. The DRM daily takes 45-60m (including waiting in lfg) and only rewards 3. Getting 5 for 1hrs work is not that unreasonable tbh, except when comparing to the earlier releases.
  15. 1 full run of either meta seems pretty sure to deliver 20 relics, provided you loot all the chests. So easy to forget the chests in the bases that do not auto loot!
  16. ......or 500 Prismaticite crystals to troll all those who DID craft the weapon sets xD
  17. They should do both. There is more than one Tengu weapon set, so each should be more descriptive. There is no reason why the faction vendor's set is the definitive "Tengu" set. And, yes, the recipe name should correctly describe what it is for.
  18. Well maybe something a bit more lore-y or creative, but yeah! Recently we've had Tengu Echo Weapons, Volcanic Stormcaller weapons, for example. At least don't give them the exact same name as an existing recipe that makes something different :)
  19. When I said "complete" I meant show up for the final encounter and open the end chest, as was the case for Dragonfall and Octovine. I agree needing to actually participate all the way through the north or south metas is excessive.
  20. Providing a new source for very old sets I can stomach. The exalted set didn't upset me. But offering a cheaper source for skins that cost significant gold earlier in the same living story seems to be taking the ****!The colouring is different, but a fair few might actually prefer the new version. Next they will bring out a new version of the Volcanic Stormcaller weapons for skritt support marks, with a slightly different shade of red! Now that would be some 1st rate trolling!
  21. So, I'm assuming these are new weapons. They seem that way. But, just to take the first one "Tengu Axe", There is already a "Recipe:Tengu Axe" that makes a completely different weapon. This is sloppy and needs fixing surely. Shouldn't they have a more specific name - "Tengu XXX Axe".
  22. Yes, a number of bases or events would make more sense, or just completing one of the Drizzlewood metas, as was the case with Dragonfall and The Octovine. And right now the description is outright confusing. I'm not surprised if people interpret it as another "enemies" achievement, where you just need to kill a certain number of mobs.
  23. Yep, seems this expects people to do at least one Drizzlewood meta (north or south) a day, beginning to pretty much the end.The only dependable drops are from the big chests when you capture a base, the chests as you progress through the citadel and end chests (north and south). The drop from enemies is very low, depending on your luck. Seems 2 to 8 from south meta mobs mobs up to just before Wolf's Crossing is par for the course. So, they are not going to stop you needing to open base chests and do the final events (n or s), or, as others have said, jump maps and cheese it.
