So when I play Zerg I do not play in Guilds or on discord so you get those random scragglers like me. I dont see much condi at all, mainly power and boon builds anymore? What constitutes as a good Condi meta or what classes support the right amount of Condi damage?

So I was playing boon stripping on my necro with Trailblazers. I tried running Harbinger and that is ok? What do you think will see more play? Willbender? Power Harbinger? I really do not know what to play? I picked up Firebrand just to have some fun but Im stumped. It just seems Rangers, Thiefs, Firebrands and Scourges, Scrapper

Its still Boon Zergs and Boon stripping, condi is useless to play as it gets torn down in seconds, Melee is a joke. Like can anyone actually tell what the devs are wanting us to do? Why is it pointless to play condi? Just curious? Cause I also see its useless to play melee in big zergs

For winds yes but the nerfs on some of the boon classes weakens it making condi classes, boon ripping and conditions more potent

Just give Revenant Ritualist Necromancer Sword with Undead Dragon mini Ranger gets Paragon Guardian gets monk with legit heals and nerf the FB to boon duration only without heals Warrior gets dervish Thief gets Arbalist Mesmer gets trickster (actual class) Elementalist gets Arcane magic now Engineer I have no clue

To be fair I excluded raids dungeons strikes and fractals and said pve content outside of that realm. Just roaming around looting, killing and competing quests you can run anything you want. When it comes to strikes, and those types of metas they are specific but even PVE people I know do not run those.

Generally speaking PVE does not mean anything in terms of builds unless you are doing raids and strikes, fractals dungeons etc. Playing regular content you can do anything you want. Builds are not really that important. Nerfing literally means nothing when it comes to killing an NPC.

I want a blood Letting version of Necro with an undead dragon minion. Give us access to the sword off hand. Revenant I want ACTUAL GW1 INSPIRED Ritualist! Let me beat my opponents face in with a urn that uses crafting materials to power. I want my shades to move as I do and when in combat root in place. I want the spirits to shackle my opponents in terror as I feed off of their life force and into my communal urn. Scepter Revenant in off hand

I pretty much do Necro in PvE, PVP, WvW, regular life. Necro has been my entire experience and I always have felt it's in the best spot. I have every class pretty much maxed but I want to do something mainly for WVW. In WVW on my Necro I pretty much ran scourge and Harbinger. I roamed, I did Zergs, I have done it all. Lately I am feeling the want and need to transition into something that can Roam and do Zergs and I wouldnt mind doing a dualist class. What do you all think? Keep in mind I know Anet is going (heard that before) to fix WvW and focus on it later this year, I would hope some love is shown to these other classes. Really am curious about Vindicator (I hear its off with it's skills not meshing) and Willbender seems really fun (has identity issues). Not going to play Warrior again that ship has sailed for me, but what other dualist style classes do you all enjoy playing that can be a good fit for Zerg, Roam, and have good potential at getting buffed in the future? Also looking for a guild to get into on NA servers. Thanks all

I would argue only in strikes, dungeons fractals. You get into a boss meta it really has no effect when you and 100 other people are taking down their health. Literally you can heal and single auto and really are going to beat PVE.... Maybe the EOD meta shifted with the final boss but every other boss in the game really does not matter at all.... Maybe some niche specific classes cant but you take the mains: Necro, Guardian, Rev, Thief, Ranger their builds can alt between the 2.

As someone who wants to craft the Legendary Horn for my Necro I would love to see the skills do more. When I think of Warhorn on a necro I think of calling out. Thus 4 can remain as a stun but 5 should gain swiftness and some other boon, maybe stability? That would be pretty solid. Right now warhorn is so Niche is doesnt really do anything. Ultimately the only things being used in necro is Scepter, Dagger, Axe, staff. Even pistol and focus is to niche

They do and it is the staple piece its just interesting people want balances in characters when their damage and builds are pretty irrelevant. I can run in my WVW build on PVE and do just fine and kill anything anyone else can

PvE isnt a problem at all why fix it? Some meta issue, other than that WVW is the same as it always has been for 10 years now

Pve you can literally play anything you want. You might have to care and try a bit harder in raids and strikes but for the most part any content in PVE outside of that play what ever you want to your hearts content. Reaper was OP in HOT. Farmed and Solo'd everything in it's path. Add in minions you can kite for days since the AI minions are so stupid.

Who cares about PVE?

Really sad the meta has shifted to this. Cant even complete the game or finish without this. Never has this happened in GW history and its ruined the EOD experience for me. Just my 2 cents I dont really play EOD I pretty much shifted to HOT metas and WVW.

PVE you can literally do whatever you want.... That is so true, mobs are stupid, WVW builds you can carry to PVE easily. WVW is where its at. PVP i get bored with and dont have friends so I dont want to do it
