Ah. So at some point in the last few years ANet killed that farming method? (A Reddit thread from a few years ago listed running World 1 Zone 1 & 2 on multiple characters as a way to farm Bubbles.)

I've read a number of guides saying the Chest reward for defeating a boss on Normal in each Zone rewards 1-2 Bubbles. I've beaten the boss in Normal mode in World 1 Zone 1 on three different characters and all I'm getting are Baubles, not a single Bubble. Was this changed? Am I doing something wrong?

I recently dipped my toes into doing Strike Missions and I have a question. In the other MMO where I did large group content no one stepped through the portal till the raid leader entered to avoid certain problems that could occur if people entered as they arrived. I've followed that same instruction in PuG GW2 Strike Missions, but I'm getting the feeling it isn't necessary. (?) What's the etiquette in GW2 for entering a Strike Mission portal when in a PuG?

I would like to add that this announcement has negatively impacted players who were already trying to craft Legendary Runes. They will see the price significantly increase compared to before. It really feels like ANet didn't fully think through the consequences of this decision and instead focused on making the current owners of full Rune sets happy.

The better move on ANet's part would have been to release the recipe for the Legendary Relic at the same time they made the announcement about the free one. That way players could decide for themselves which path to take. As it stands now with the TP's prices skyrocketing I'll wager it'll be cheaper to craft the Legendary Relic than a Legendary Rune.

This has been an issue since mounts were introduced. I've never quite gotten why some players go so "try hard" on beginner-zone events. All you need to do to get credit is tap one MOb. There's no need to hit every cooldown to try and solo MOb groups the millisecond they spawn. Be considerate. Let other players have their turn.

Same. I used to login every day—both for the daily reward and to see what PvE dailies were available. (I do not PvP or WvW.) Now I rarely login at all. Only Arenanet knows how the change has impacted overall player engagement. All I can is for myself it's severely curtailed my enjoyment of the game.

14988. So I can't earn anymore achievement points via Dailies?

At first I thought it was my imagination, but today I confirmed I've stopped getting the 10 points for doing the Daily Completionist. (It's been like that at least a week, I just thought I was imagining it.) Is that a bug or is there a cap on getting points from doing the Daily?

I've been very casually making my way through EoD. I've heard many things about the Soo Won fight and the accompanying meta events. I've tried to find information on the time investment to complete the meta from starting the lead in events to the final battle. I've been led to believe it has to be done in a single sitting. Is this true? If so, how long does it take? Thank you!

My character is not an elf, she is a Vulcan and I would appreciate respecting that distinction. 😜

I'm really unhappy with the change requiring completing the explorable mode of a dungeon to use the currency. Quite frankly my experiences with 5-man content in GW2 have been horrific. For the majority of the time the GW2 community is one of the best in any MMO, until players step through a portal. Then a sizeable chunk mutate into the disgusting "gogogo" a-holes found in every other MMO. (No offense to the players who actually show patience, but I never ran into one in my long abandoned efforts.)

Since you can go to every race's starting zone to quest when I want to "chill level" a new character that's what I do. It may not be the fastest most efficient way to level, but I find it to be the most relaxing.

Am I missing it or does the Portal to Tyria in the Thousand Island Pavilion not give access to fishing spots in the Heart of Maguuma? Isn't one of the big selling points of the Pass is access to fishing spots across the World Map? Leaving out a whole section of the Map seems like silly oversight.

A "book" for the assorted Black Lion passes similar to the books for the scrolls to zones in PoF and Icebrood Saga. We're getting quite a lot of them and they're eating up inventory space.

In the events where you deliver fish there's an option to catch fish. I've chosen this option, gotten the Professional Fish Catcher buff, fished, and... nothing. I can't turn in the fish I catch anywhere that I can locate. The fish I catch don't count on the event tracking. I feel either I'm missing something really basic or that portion of the event is bugged. Help and insight are greatly appreciated as I'd really rather fish than run back and forth to the merchant.

I see where Ascended aquatic headgear can be crafted, but I don't see an option to craft Exotic aquatic headgear. Am I missing a recipe somewhere perhaps? Seems an odd oversight given it's possible to craft Exotic aquatic weapons.

I agree that being able to tone-down or turn-off other players' spell effects would be extremely useful. A large part of the reason I avoid melee-only classes / professions in most games is because the area around a boss becomes a nightmare of overlapping spell effects making seeing what the boss doing extremely challenging for me.

I'd love to know why Bait stacks to 250, but Lures only stack to 50 or 75 (of the ones I've found thus far). It would make a lot more sense if the Lures stacked to 250 as well. Feels like an odd design choice not to have them do so.

I find it odd they didn't add fish vendors to other parts of the map outside of Cantha. Even if it'd just been in the major cities that would have been something. It's almost as if canonically no one else in Tyria did any fishing except the Canthans and even then it didn't start in Cantha till after they broke off contact with the rest of Tyria. Now everyone is like "Wait? You can eat fish!?" 🤣

I love that people are trying to work on solutions to the issues the Dragon Meta has exposed. I think it's fantastic.
