No no, Ele gets Longbow but it's melee! 👀 I think Two-Handed Shield or DW Hammers/GS might make me play a warrior tbh. No idea how it might work but it sounds cool lol

Ele and Guard are my most played professions and I don't know much about all professions but below is what I would like to see: Ele - Give me Longbow for Ele, please, I beg 😭 Or ranged GS, similar to what Mesmers have. Guard - Honestly not sure, it already has access to so many weapons. Warhorn could be good, I guess? Mesmer - Just out of curiosity I'd like to see Hammer lol I've recently been playing Ranger a lot too but don't know what other weapon I'd like to see on them lol

Unrelated perhaps but I'd love a new profession tbh although very unlikely. Doubt they have the resources to create a new profession and it would also mess up the current combo of 3 Light/Medium/Heavy. Would be a nice surprise though!

After Cata Hammer a lot of players demanded better and also demanded a very much needed range weapon, doesn't matter if it's LB or not, yet we got MH Pistol so that does absolutely nothing sadly. But I agree that calls for them to remove the weapon are silly as it obviously won't happen. Sweetbread's comment is very good though and probably what a lot of players are feeling.

That's a possibility yeah. However, surely they would have known how poorly it would be received, given the forums are full of comments from people wanting an actual ranged option. They could have at least made the range on Fire/Air skills 900.

Pretty much this but unfortunately it keeps falling on deaf ears. I genuinely want to know what went on internally for them to decide on Hammer. I've given up on expecting a decent range option on Ele, like many others probably. Bet the next weapon after pistol will be off-hand Sword.

The preview does look interesting but I am still disappointed we aren't getting a SB or LB 🥲 There's always next expansion I guess.

No, I don't regret it at all. Why would I? I know I will play the game and am excited to get more new content. Can't come soon enough tbh

It really feels like this is the only reason we are only getting MH pistol, which makes it even more frustrating tbh.

I'm not particularly excited about getting a pistol MH. Don't really like the weapon much nor do I find it exciting. Should have been a bow but we are probably never getting that at this point 🥲

All I'm hoping is the new content updates are not as lacking as the latest one we got as that was fairly disappointing, given it was the first one we got after EoD released.

Oh yeah I don't think this change will make it a free kill by any means. Hopefully I get that kill before the update! 😛 Regardless of nerfs etc. your team is doing a great job at communication and addressing things!

I'm one of the few, perhaps, who actually really liked the challenge of the meta. I've failed the event multiple times and still don't have the turtle but enjoyed doing the meta each time. Oh well!
