  1. I support this. While we do have the little ADL thing, it only allows 5 people at once, and is an instance. I was thinking more like a guild hall, but scaled down, mechanics-wise. Though given how the races have converged, I'm not sure if it should be a single type of map for everyone, or each race has their own, or if other personal story factors should factor in...
  2. I did just get the mount, and while I did find it annoying...I then realized the Skyscale is mandatory for the legendary trinket, which the previous one required 250 map currency on its own. So unless there's an additional 250 of all map currencies required down the line in the trinket crafting (If so, feel free to correct me), I'm fine with it now, to be honest. And it also showed me that I CAN grind for a legendary in a time crunch (and I honestly am bummed that there isn't a 'story collection' for the newer legendary weapons)
  3. Ah, that explains a lot! I went through 14 charas, a friend through about 20 or so, and only some of the equipment reset. I knew about the elite spec ones and crafted backpacks, but the others were confusing me.
  4. That's what I was thinking. Their anatomy is shaped like humans, magic probably does the rest.
  5. Wall the sky portions of JPs so we don't get forcibly dismounted if we're going too fast (mostly griffon) to catch the warning, but remove them from parts of the map that aren't map borders. Like, let us explore Polymock without tricky griffon shenanigans.
  6. I'm seconding this idea, I had fun playing catch with the baby skyscale, and when I found out you can do that again for the next step (still unlocking it) I squealed.
  7. There is not time limit on those buffs, they disappear only when collection is completed. But 2nd characters were not involved in collection completion, only in adding some additional numbers. And so Almorra's Directive, with no time limit, stayed. I have the same problem, and I've filed a support ticket. I have BOTH of the buffs on my roleplay character, whom I logged in on during a pause in the mass collecting.
  8. 500 Trade Contracts250 of each LWS4 Map Currency1500 Volatile Magic35 Gold This is very manageable. The 500 Trade Contracts is the only steep requirement, and 35 Gold is relatively cheap. All in all this mount requires about 125g (50% less) than the Griffon. This is fine. Mostly concerned about Mistonium on my end. Jahai Bluffs is the only map where I don't know how to do the metas.
  9. I may be late to the party on this subject, but the one on the Ascalonian wall can be done with a Springer. The other one there's often people porting, since besides being needed for the Skyscale, some Legendary stuff requires access to that JP.
  10. That would technically be the monster who murdered our Dragon friend in the last patch XDI can't thumbs up this enough.@"Blocki.4931" said:I love the meta event. None of the areas feel like they have any wasted potential in them. I love that they have all those throwbacks at Season 3 and HoT, I love all the different types of enemies. My favorite enemy on the entire map are the Willowhearts! There is just so much work in the detail, so much love in the map design as a whole. That's the type of power flavor has in any game. Earth Elementals? Boring. Naturelings? Now THIS is interesting! They are the same, but different. A well done recolor/reskin/reimagining of an established enemy type can go a very, very long way. Ya feel me?Reskins vary between "okay, this is obvious" and "Wait, that's a reskin!?" Nice to see some of the latter!@Aridon.8362 said: Laptop...just put together a desktop and get a good graphics card. It's like playing a whole new game.I agree, it's pretty amazing as well. And I get how it's a new game just by having better graphics or even reshade. I currently play on a computer I use for 3D modeling, and it can handle best graphics+reshade, as well as on the family computer, which plays on medium graphics, and a laptop that played on low because it was that much of a potato. Plus I played without reshade for a period of time because any sort of game addon frightened me, since I came to GW2 from games where third party software=instant ban, even if it didn't affect gameplay. (Reshade is all I use, for reference)
  11. The only quip I've honestly had is that the previous step (the egg one) seemed horrifically overwhelming, by splitting it into 13 different collections. What I did to complete it was I divided them into twos, and intended to do two, then take a break, then two, then take a break, etc. I then go to do one...and there's multiple objectives per each map, so I just ended up getting them done. Perhaps merging some of those 13 together would be nice. In addition, the "Directive" buffs are still attached to a character I logged into while I was doing the collections, after I finished them. Any way we can fix that?
  12. Its cooldown is tied to character tho so you can use it on any alts aswell. Actually noticed that when I swapped characters to grab an item.
  13. Confirming it now, since I used to have a GMX address. I'm surprised it's known. For reference, back when I used it, the big thing was that it gave you 10 additional free addresses or something like that.
  14. I have it for lore reasons. My 42 disposables are enough for actual use. By the time I need to use the reusable again, the cooldown time is long up.
  15. I derped and finished Blazeridge Steppes after seeing this. Whoops. Would certainly appreciate an update on this issue.
  16. I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and ask about the skyscale as well, but my other question is: Why are there 22 POIs on the map but you only need 21 for map completion? Also, Taimi's had my entire Discord server talking due to this ep-Everyone's instinctively used the contact points as soon as they come across one, and "DIE, BRANDED SCUM!" has pretty much floored people. That entire clip is on my phone! (Also her being plastered post-completion lore talk. Phlunt does not approve, but who cares?) Send her VA a shoutout for me if she doesn't get my tweet first! Also who's idea was it to give you mini boss fights inside Kralkatorrik with Balthazar, Mordremoth, and Zhaitan's eye? That was epic as heck!
  17. I'm the opposite it seems. I don't want much out of the chests. Usually just the statuettes and guaranteed items. Yet probably in about 1/7 chests, it spits out one of the new, account-bound items, or a skin that sells for gold in double to triple digits. I haven't bought keys in a long time, I get mine from keyfarm and map complete.
  18. Mainly because the old suggestions threads were unstickied. Bit of refinement for the roleplay section of LFG-Clarification of what it is, perhaps separate sections for pre-arranged, walkup events, taxis, etc. Bonus points if walkup events have a separate section for bar based RP. Now, before I get called out because I've admitted a dislike for bar RP before despite sometimes partaking in it, here me out-I'm also thinking about people wanting to play characters who can't drink for one reason or another, those whose characters don't like the atmosphere, or people who have trouble in real life bars, yet alone digital ones, and wish to avoid them. Though my main reason for this is mainly to try and weed out the trolls who go in there.Tome for infinite use items, such as lounges, portal items/scrolls, mystic forge conduits, etc.Fashion templates-Like build templates, but for fashion. Set wardrobe skin selection, outfit setup, mount skins, etc. and save it. Obviously transmutation charge count can be calculated.Means to organize your characters on the character select windowGem store bundle that is a Level 80 boost+character slot. It prints money! If any of these need revised or whatnot, let me know.
  19. A button on the character select screen that shows "Favorite" characters only. I play in windowed mode so I can see builds, Discord chats, etc. and only get 7 of my 11 characters on the screen, and I have to organize it so the ones I'm actively leveling+my main and item holding mule (Temp position for now) are the first batch in the list.
  20. I know we have the Path of Fire Prep pack, but what about a package that is just a character slot and a Level 80 boost ticket? I'm pretty sure that'll print money, since you can only buy so many prep packs.
  21. I haven't bought any yet (financial situation tanked 2 days before the release), but I did pick up the new standalone one. I actually don't mind this system, since while it is RNG, there are no duplicates. Now, before anyone bites my head off, let me just say that loot boxes in the traditional sense have been in all of the games that I've played previously-played primarily SK-based MMOs, and those suck up money more than my character inhales fooda vacuum cleaner.
