pls no. That would be a Monster Hunter scenario and it would look silly. It would also likely cause even more lags on crowded maps since you can't disable legendary weapons and infusions from other people.

You can easily solo them with all the power creep that expansions brought. No need for groups. dungeons were designed for vanilla and back then a group was neccessary. Now it's so easy. God I miss pre expansion GW2...

Never go to Hardstruck! It's just as bad as Meta Battle. Snowcrows is the hard and real requirement for raids. I'd kick anyone who isn't familiar with Snowcrows immediatly.

Fractals generally aren't Living Story Season 1 content there was integrated as part of for the people who missed the original lss1 live story back then. Raids don't spoiler anything at all but they tie into the lore a bit and some things are very nice and interesting if you've played gw1. Strikes however are usually very spoiler heavy and to access them you's have to at least defeated the boss in story mode once anyways as far as I know. Also if you plan on raiding, fractals and strikes got get a full ascended set up and look up the top builds on snowcrows or you'll have a bad time in lfg and end up getting kicked quite often. Speaking of years of raiding experience since they were a thing.

Yeah, I don't like the removal of login rewards either. I used to get useful stuff like black lion keys and mystic coins and even a precursor from the exotic gear box from these. I absolutely hate having to run up to vendors to redeem the new currency with my massive social anxiety and when people are standing there. I always feel judged.

Yeah, I contacted the support about it already and they said they removed it but they couldn't tell me why and if or when it's returning. kitten, it would be so easy to just link your account to Steam and buy the stuff there. Such a wasted opportunity

Just join a zerg and run along. It's very easy and fast to get gift of battle. I was an active WvW player once because PvP bored me and my guild who I raided with when disbanded before the release of w3 and I couldn't get back to it through lfg and its gatekeeping. I have 40+ of those gifts in my bank and I already have all gen 1 legendaries. Even if you don't do WvW actively there's dalies you can quickly grab like kill a Dolyak or capture a ruin or kill a sentry or spend 25 tokens. It's very easy and takes less than 10 minutes. However if you're up joining a friendly community and server and you're on EU I can point you to Abaddon's Mouth. The WvW community is so nice there.

I've been loyal since beginning and when SOTO was announced I wanted to preorder the ultimate one as I did with all expansions since this game existed. However I saw that SEPA wasn't an option anymore and I had to go for Paysafe (which scummed me over once for 50 bucks but that's a different story) and I couldn't use it anymore. Thankfully I could preorder SOTO with the 50€ limit paysafe offers although I wanted to give Anet a bit more money to support them and their future. It kinda makes me scared for future expansions. I've been playing since 2012 and I don't want to grind 20 hours for gems all day to upgrade. I know there's other payment methods but I don't do online banking as my whole family and friends have access to the PC and in general I'm pretty oldschool when it comes to money. However I also miss the gemcards I used to buy at gamestop that got pulled in my country in like 2018. I really want to support the devs because they deserve every support.. I really wish they would make it possible to link an existing Arenanet account with your Steam account like with Elder Scrolls Online. It would make things much much easier. I could just get a Steam card and load the amount I need to my account there through the code and purchase all the gw2 stuff for my already existing account. It kinda makes me sad you can't link them. I wanted to know if anyone else in EU had the same experiences.

Yeah, I suddenly noticed also very high ping for some reason during Quadim. I checked in ESO as well if the issue persists but it's fine there. Seems to be an issue with anet servers. Specifically EU

Sounds nice but sadly I'm on EU. I don't want to switch to NA servers since my WvW community which is pretty chill resides on EU and I'd have horrendous ping on NA anyways. It's just a pain to find LGBT friendly guilds on EU that also try harder endgame content without speedrun pressure (been in too many of the toxic speedrun ones and I just wanna relax despite being experienced). Sorry for the late reply. I usually don't check in here that often.

Another sad reason why endgame content sucks. Everything is getting casualized. Raid CMs in GW2 are just sooo easy and nothing compared to raids in other MMOs like WoW or FFXIV. The same thing happened with ESO and its trials sadly... It's like Fromsoftware made an easy mode into their next game

If you go into the arena please for the sake of the six gods, pull mobs into the middle and stack. Rangers don't use your annoying longbow (lb rangers were always and still are useless and annoying that's why we kicked them back then) and put your pet on PASSIVE (especially your stupid brown bear)! Necros please don't use minions. And everyone else don't use any pushes. Only pulls and stack in middle. It increases group DPS on a concentrated area making it easier to get the buff at full stacks for everyone which makes bosses faster to kill (less than a minute ideal) and the whole ordeal of farming coffers faster and more efficient. As a veteran player since launch this is my biggest gripe of annoyance since the event returned. Coordination is key in group content so please stick to the tactics and listen to experienced players. Especially if you want to get into raiding 😉 Happy Dragon Bashing! PS: for the moa race you can bet on all moas at the same race if you didn't know. It will net you the achievement much faster. Also mordrem weapons are usually very cheap during the festival so get the skins while they're cheap and have no luck with HoT metas.

Yeah, I'm on it but it seems that I always can't find the right one and nobody really cares about my search post here or on reddit. Currently I'm back in one mainly for raiding but I hope I finally have luck with this one. I just have bad social anxiety from bad experiences with people throughout the years

They're nice but it sucks you can't do the turtle one solo. My friends stopped playing in 2017 and I don't want to get yelled at by randoms for not getting gold immediatly in record time.

Good they limited that. I once lost 2k gold to ecto gambling lol I had a good roll and couldn't stop until luck ran out and I was poor. Guess I'm prone to gambling addiction

Hey, which one do you mean?

The guild itself doesn't need to be entirely lgbt focused but at least friendly. Had my share of bad experiences already. I'm an experienced raider and veteran. I can play power DH, condi harbinger, condi quick harbinger and heal druid. I also have a bit of experience with a few CMs. Overall I'd just want a laid back and more casual atmosphere instead of being stressed.
