for me pvp always felt like rock paper and scissors with extra steps. If you run a "paper" build is extremely challenging to beat a "scissors" build. Also your team mates builds can complement one another or do the opposite. It's all about luck on teams composition. Thats why some games are very one sided.

find a partner and combine builds with him.As for me, I am a solo player so I wont get into ranked much this season. Since it's 2v2 a single player synergy with his team mate is extremely important.

I used berserk most of my time and I think I gona stick with it even now.

I tried raids then they came out with my guild. It was like a hour of failure evry Sunday. As for now I play alone and you really need a guild for raids especially with these "Vale Guardian. 500 Li 100 KP 95% Snowscrows Dps or Kick + Ban from all raids" kind of pub groups.

as for me I get all kinds of games. Wining/loosing with big score difference, some games are pretty close. But overall my win rate is a bit over 50% so I guess matchmaking is good for me.

eventually you just get bored and stop playing. I think is normal bicause you just can't play a single game forever.I started playing at launch but get bored at some point and stoped. I started playing again not long ago. 1.6k hours total.Gw2 is very friendly game to come back to. My gear feels as powerful as it was years ago. I can explore new content and its great.
