  1. The strangest thing about this issue, is that you can still log in in guild wars 1 just fine. This means that the issue is not the password itself, but how gw2 check your password.
  2. The dps in this set of weapons is way too low. Probably the lowest dps weapon in the entire game. The attack chain is way too slow without quickness. The projectile is too slow, to the point that people can just sidestep the autoattacks.
  3. The strangest thing that happened to me, is that the game was correctly tracking the tiers i was completing at bitterfrost frontier, (tracked t2 and t1) until i went to complete the last tier i needed (T3). At that point, all the progress i made has been removed from the achievement panel and now it refuses to knowledge any tier completion.
  4. By entering the discussion about Jormag, I think that Jormag could have worked very well, if the we discover that the jormag's voice is actually "personalized" to the people that are hearing it. To explain, every people hear Jormag in a different way. A sort of "Jormag is telling exactly what you want to hear. In order to convince you even more, it will sound in the best possible way to you". In short, for some people it may sound like a masculine voice, while for others, it may sound feminine.
  5. It may be a coincidence, but the bug may be actually tied to the map events. I and a friend had to restart the story as it glitched during the scan part. As we reached the scan point again, we both managed to progress the story (there were no dialogues between each scan ) and moved to the next story objective. (drop the jade inside the "void clouds") While we went there, the event for capture the howling caves fort was up. I tried to complete the story steps regardless, while my friend waited for the event to end. My story progression glitched again, while my friend managed to progress the story successfully.
  6. To the players that think that nothing really changed, go into maps that have a slight environmental effect, like snowing. In these maps, the differences are HENORMUS. Divinity's reach Looks like silent hills now. All that snow genuinely gave me a head ache after just 15 minutes of playing.
  7. Are you telling me that warrior players in SPVP activated the berserk mode randomly, and not when a hard CC connected on the enemy? I have to say, that the spvp players play VERY differently compared the WvW players. They removed the removal of stability in PVE as well. So yes. This block the combo headbutt+outrage combo from happening. Think at it in this way: You're in Fractal, place where the bosses have phases that last less than 10 seconds. The fight starts and you basically enter the fight with less stacks of Berserker's Power compared to before. Before, you would instantly get +21% damage. Now, after the first burst, you will have a +10.5% bonus damage instead. (if i understood correctly the patch notes, the game will always let you have one stack available regardless) Now you will have to choose if use two more burst in order to reach that +21 %, or use the Whirling Axe skill right away and do less damage. By the time you will reach all four stacks. the boss probably already went into next phase and is invulnerable. Rinse and repeat.
  8. Please, don't apply this change in PvE. The self stun that headbutt inflict is actually used with the skill outrage, in order to extend the Berserk duration. Bye bye, years of muscle memory. But why? Was the berserker's Burst damage ability at the start of a fight/start of a new phase this problematic?
  9. I have the fractal god title and over 26K UFE, so i played fractal a lot. I'm not sure if i would like a new fractals, as they made longer and longer fractals at every new release. They were a sort of "let's get in and out. 5 minutes of adventure" in the beginning, but now we have a level (sunqua) that take forever to complete in a non CM scenario. ( also, in my opinion, the last good fractal they ever released was shattered observatory. Nightmare is still the best one.)
  10. i can think about few options that can describe EOD: option 1: The jade bot was a good idea. But the character bound nature of it ruined it. Option 2: There isn't really much to do if you don't plan to make a gen 3 legendary weapon. Story wise: "We must kill the remaining dragon. No other options are accepted!" (and now for the silly option) EOD: The completionists nightmare ( "oh, so you like to complete the expansion tab achievements. It may be a shame if we add strike CM achievements that require failing mechanics and impossible to complete legendary collections in that section." )
  11. It's the only meta in the game that require a dedicated and specific group composition in order to be completed. So it make sense that the people are trying to use the LFG as much as possible there. Also, the map allow for max 60 players. ( Probably less actually. i never saw more than 54 players onto the soo-won boss platform ) So the parties have an extreme hard time to fit all 50 inside one. Said that, one of the biggest reason about why the people are not buying the jade, is that most components for the new legendary weapons are time gated anyway. It takes 20 weeks in order to gain all the antique summoning stones required for a third gen legendary, and not everyone is willing to spend over 900 golds in order to skip that. So, there is no hurry on obtaining the remaining items.
  12. Can confirm. Not even the simple Cm completion works atm. If you manage to avoid all the aoe for example, the eligibly sign will just remain in the "boon area" and do nothing.
  13. Hot: It's funny how the dragon of the mind, conveniently can't imagine creative ways to kill us as soon we invade his mind. Everything is lava? Nah... Better turn into a mini lizard while giving them power ups instead. Pof: How exactly joko managed to get out from the underworld? EoD: Aurene can travel at the speed of light and move people around at will. Why didn't she just pull Gorrik out of the ship, or pull EVERY AETERBLADE out of their ships and drop them into the mist?
  14. Why not make a way to upgrade the 2 week VIP pass into a permanent contract by paying the remaining cost? (for example, if the 2 weeks pass cost 150 gems and the permanent one cost 1000, the upgrade will cost 850 gems ) For example. A player bought the 2 weeks pass because it's unsure if he will like that VIP area or not, (or for the last one introduced, to capture saltwater fishes) and then he realize that he really like this pass. In this scenario, he will just have to pay 850 more gems (instead to pay 1000) in order to turn that 2 week pass into a permanent one. I think it's a nice thing and will actually incentive players to buy more VIP passes.
  15. I'm actually fine with the proposal at the end of the story. What actually feels odd in the story to me, is the feeling that the expansion tried to add too many different topics at the same time ( aetherblade issue, reputation issue, purist issue, speaker+jade gang issue, void issue ) to the point that the real issue (the void) feels rushed. I mean, i felt that the main topic in the expansion, is trying to getting acquitted from the accusations. After that, the story go straight into "oh snap, there is no time left!" Then less than 20 minutes later, we're already killing Soo-Won... No other options were taken into account. I wish that the story actually turned out differently, where the "how can we save Soo-Won from the excessive magic" would have been the main topic. In fact, i think that it would have been a far, far better story, if our main character is called to Cantha directly by the empire. (which know that soo-won is having more and more issues with the unstable magic) While cutting out all the "reputation" sections and the purists out of the story entirely. (leaving the purist issue for a living story instead) Then use that time for find a way to cut out Soo-Won from passively obtaining magic from the ley-lines and effetely saving her. In this way, Aurene wouldn't end alone. Instead, have them travel together into the mist in the ending. Closing the dragons stories in Tyria for good. (while mentioning that Aurene can filter the magic spectrum even while in the mist. ) Talking about Aurene... She mention that she's afraid to remain alone, but our character, nor the other companions seems to care about that sentence. In fact, i felt really upset while reading the Logan dialogues at Arborstone. On last topic, if i ever have to find an issue to the proposal epilogue, is that the duo didn't invite Aurene to the celebration! Our main character also didn't mention about meeting Aurene during the time skip either. In fact, i feel that everyone threated Aurene as a weapon, rather than a companion.
