  1. It took me 2 visits to the local Quiznos, but I managed to get my code today.
  2. I visited my local Quizno's here in Cedar Rapids, IA. (It's ok. The other one in town struggled and closed years ago.) Their checkout screen was showing the GW2 offer, and I already have their app installed on my phone, so I figured the game code would either show up on the receipt or via the app after scanning the QR on the phone. However, the receipt didn't have any info. Meanwhile, the app still has the initial news page about the GW2 promo, but there do not appear to be any updates in the app related to a game code from the purchase. I know the QR got scanned since the sub-o-meter got updated correctly from my purchase. At this point, I have no idea how to get the game code.
  3. I wish I could trade them on TP. I currently have over 750, and since I basically never use them, they just accrue endlessly from login rewards, pvp/wvw rewards and various map completions.
  4. My guild made the transition from GW1 and remains active with members from around the world. We do missions (2 sessions for people in different timezones) twice a week. Although there has been a gradual decline in active members over the years, there are still several that login daily, and whenever I play there are usually several guild members online.
  5. These are my primary reasons for continuing to play GW2: I haven't found a better gameI have friends that playThere are still things left that I hope to one day obtain or accomplish
  6. It was OK the first time. It wasn't nearly as fun the 2nd time, and even less the 3rd time... You get the picture. After doing it across 8 characters, I haven't found the drive to do it for any more. At my rate of crafting legendaries (only 4 since launch), my supply of Gifts of Exploration should last me for many years to come.
  7. GW3 and new races aren't likely, so I'd recommend nixing those entirely from the poll. Some of the others are viable. New armor skins or possible updates to existing armor skins to add some much needed armor diversity would be huge sellers for me.
  8. Neither! - Work on adding more armors for existing races instead.
  9. Depends on what you mean by "drop". I've gotten 3 from tossing rare/exotic weapons in to the mystic toilet, and one from a PvP rank-up/reward chest.
  10. Including more fantasy-themed armors like this (for males and females, of each race) would greatly improve the armor diversity in GW2. The current armor offerings in GW2 are still not appealing to some players' tastes, and adding more options like this for armor styles would help make the game more inclusive. As I've learned in yearly corporate meetings over the past few decades, improving diversity (among not only people but also products) and inclusiveness (among not only employees but also customers) are fundamental goals that any company should strive for. Adding armor choices like this is an obvious positive step toward both. Note - offering these types of skins as outfits instead of armor pieces could be an acceptable compromise.
  11. I voted "For Fun", but it's really a mix of things. Fun is the most important, but the chance at rare loot is also a factor, as are achievements for some of the bosses. I'm still a ways off from completing the Shatterer achievements so that's the one I tend to do more often.
  12. No new races. GW1 got it right with just 1 playable race. Having five in GW2 is already too many since each one just adds unnecessary overhead to adding certain types of content (armor, skill animations, voice acting, etc). Don't make this worse than it already is.
  13. but I haven't tried it yet Looking at the numbers on the wiki both the #1 and #2 are still better on longbow. Higher base damage and better scaling with power.Even after the recent buffs, warrior rifle is still bad. Fixing the problem with warrior rifle will take more than just damage boosts - the weapon skills need a fundamental overhaul and redesign.
  14. It's not, 3 and 5 actually do a fair bit of damage and 4 is a very useful breakbar contribution especially when you have stability. (Also 5 is great for mobility). It's the weapon used in the meta PVE holosmith raid build right now. You don't stay there and camp it of course but it does get used. ^This. Engi rifle is ok. On the other hand, warrior rifle is underwhelming. If Warrior LB is supposed to be their condi weapon, Rifle should probably be more of a power weapon. However with the current skills, it really doesn't fit well for power or condi builds. It likely needs an overhaul, but there are other more glaring balance issues that should be tackled first.
  15. Make Tomes of Knowledge, Spirit Shards, and Transmutation Charges become tradeable on TP, or add NPC vendor that lets players convert them into other currency types. Make desert armors (bountyhunter, warbeast, etc) salvageable, mystic-forge-able, and/or give them a merchant sell price. Make account-bound selectable recipe containers (e.g. Sinister Armor Recipe Book, Sinister Jewelry Recipe Book, etc) show whether you've already learned all possible types they contain instead of having to scroll through the individual recipes and check them 1-by-1. Also, give them a merchant sell price or make them stop dropping once you've learned all of the recipes. Allow minor runes/sigils to be salvaged or marked as junk.
