  1. It still feels weird to only fix this in 1 month, despite the explanation.. It is bugged beyond reason right now, and delaying fixing feels weird.
  2. The problem with the double phasing is big, especially at 33%. The numbers phase is even more deadly during this phase, and the double tethers will phase you off.
  3. Correction, misunderstood some people: we only got proof from FSP yes. 🙂
  4. Exactly, there are also both discord and ingame screenshots from those servers confirming that they are doing it on purpose. Even Piken (last T4 MU) confirmed that they have been asked to not interfere in them tieing. It’s really nothing new, and I heard multiple supports with proof have already been made because matchmaking is against the rules, as suggested by the support’s answers.
  5. It definetely has to do with AMD software, drivers or whatever. I had 0 issues with TP crashes or the TP being blank, until I switched to an AMD system. Switched from an Intel and Nvidia computer to full AMD, and since day 1 I had this system I had TP always randomly crashing on opening, or just being blank. On restarting GW2, it would work basically until it stopped working, where I had to wait for another crash or restart. Quite annoying.
  6. I also responded this in the actual preview post, but there is on reddit a very good post by REMagic who has some great ideas on how to buff pDaredevil, which can definetely use a tiny bit of a bump which he wants to achieve by a few simple changes. Link to the reddit post.
  7. Thief is in a good place? Of all classes, I was expecting a buff the most for pDaredevil. I strongly advise you to listen to the comments that REMagic made on reddit. Very easily buffs to Thief, while also not making it too overpowered. Link: reddit link
  8. Since the DX11 update, the dev that did the DX12 plugin has stopped supporting and developing it. I am not even sure if it still works, but just stick with the ingame DX11 engine.
  9. You actually missed them, they were on during the March sale: link. They will probably come back at some point, but not soon most likely.
  10. Normally you only really see Mesmers and Firebrands in organised zergs, simply because of the easy sustain they can bring themselves. When a commander dies, it becomes really hard for a group to keep themselves together. Mesmer can be really tanky with Distortion and self-Stability and valuable to a squad with things like Veil, and Firebrand has a lot of access to self-sustain due to the fact of a lot of Stability to give and share. Thieves shines more the smaller the group gets. It's not tanky at all, even with very tank stats. There is only one skill literally that gives Stability. Yes you could go Specter for the Stability well, but even that is lackluster and Specter really doesn't bring much to the table. Futhermore, Thief has a lot of leaps, jumps, teleports and all that stuff. People will have a hard time following you around, even if it's on voice. If you really, REALLY want to Thief, I mean: sure, go for it, but don't expect to hold up against decent enemy tags. It will work great as a PPT tag, and that's about it.
  11. This week, from March 28 until 31, we have a lot of unique armor skins for sale. These are not all though: there are more unique armors, but some are sold normally as a whole set. I was expecting these aswell (like the Flamekissed Armor, Krytan Armor). Are these coming on sale on a different time? Some of these haven't been on sale for longer than a year, and the Krytan armor currently only can be retrieved by spending 2000 gems on a Digital Deluxe edition for example.
  12. How unfair as it may sound, I think that this is currently a fair system. They are available for a full week: if you miss that, well... it is what it is.
  13. In general Thief needs a buff for power damage builds. Even though Deadeye has a power build that is currently leading the benchmarks: it's unrealistic to pull off in a lot of fights. In fractals for example, the phases of bosses just last way too short, and you will never be able to use M7 to the extent of the benchmark. It's a nice damage number on the golem for sure, but unrealistic in a lot of scenarios.
  14. Definetely Rifle. Rifle is a very underused weapon in GW2. From the core classes only Warrior and Engineer are able to use it. With elite specializations, only Deadeye comes swinging in there aswell. I find it very weapon that weapons like Greatsword, Sword and Staff can pretty be used by almost all classes and Rifle is restricted to 33% (3 out of 9) of all classes.
  15. Had this very same bug aswell. I logged in to a different character, and suddenly the aether at the end did spawn. The only difference is that with the character where it didn't work with, I did Drakker beforehand. The meta was not ongoing anymore when I started the JP. Very annoying bug indeed! Did it 4-5 times on the older character because I thought I did something wrong.
  16. All I am gonna say is: it is relatively easily organised getting quickness and alacrity groups (people already put themselves in the groups for that), and people gotta dodge big red circles. My one or two fails I have had since EoD launch all came because of either low dps, not dodging the slam but let's face it: mostly a combination of the two. It's good that there is atleast 1 challenging meta in this game. Find it too hard? Probably not just your fault if it's even your fault, but the fault of the majority that seems to not be responding to mechanics or having no idea how to actually use your class. Again, in general.
  17. No, only if a dev/mod gets no response it's considered a bot.
  18. It is allowed, if they are simply not AFK. It has been known that Anet devs/mods will whisper these farmers or move them to a slightly other place. If the person is not responding to the whisper or seems inactive, actions will be taken.
  19. Anet should also stop bringing some really rare stuff just for 24 hours, furthermore on what Kattliadi said.
  20. Hate to say it, but I simply don't see it happening that you can change class or race on an existing character. They have not said anything about it, let's put it like that: no official statements.
  21. This has been an issue already for long, and I hate it aswell. It becomes an even bigger issue when you are on a smaller server (medium sized, 500 gems) like Blacktide on EU and you get linked to a german server. Myself, I am not a native English speaker, but like most countries, English was taught at schools on my country. German and French are not mandatory to follow, so a lot of people don't do it. In the end though, I have no problem following commanders from these communities. If you tell the commander that you are English, they normally "spice their language up" with a mixture of both. I have had commanders in the past that would start in German and then say it in English sometimes in between as well. Also by the "energy level" of a commander (most get hyped for a fight) you know what is going to happen. This is something that I think will not change, simple as that. Some of these communities already exist since launch, and they will not change their language. Especially since nobody really knows yet how alliances will work.
  22. I don't see this happening. In WvW ping is very important. Firebrand can be a very hard class to play if your ping is high, because getting to big sustain skills requires you to go into tomes and I have several guildies from Australia who stopped played this class because they simply cannot open their tomes on time during stealth engages.
  23. The steam release is now almost 3 months ago, which gave those people more than enough time to build their characters and get familiar with endgame content. The problem in my opinion is probably deeper: over the past few weeks, I have seen people joining randomly LFG's and not saying anything. Often the group was looking for a heal or alac role, and those people just don't know yet that what means. These same people will also struggle with mechanics, simple as that. The thing is: it's really frustrating when this happens more than once. Very often you cannot keep these players, since for t4 fractals you simply just need a healer for PUG groups (I am not considering highly skilled organised groups currently) because you never know what you get as a PUG player. Also on more than one occasion, I've seen DPS players joining and doing lower damage than a Heal Firebrand, resulting is slower times and frustrated people. People in general will become less tolerant, and it will reflect on the community as a whole. It is often better to just whisper these people and talk to them. On all occasions I have seen that people are willing to talk to you and reflect on themselves, as long as you don't put them on the stand. Being a scapegoat is never fun, not in any way. We need to remind ourselves that once we were first-timers too. Of course, this is all my opinion and not fact, but I see something happening that happened aswell when GW2 core first became F2P and GW2 had big numbers of people coming in the game: this discussion has been done before.
  24. It's been almost a year since the Raven Mantle was in the Gem Store. I'm stupid for always missing this one, please bring it back! ^^
