I have a tiny guild. I just use my cell phone on speaker. If I got more involved with bigger groups, discord would likely be what I tried.

I don't expect a new expansion this year. Seems unrealistic

Warrior in PvP or WvW really hasn't been fun for a while now 🤷‍♂️ If I venture out of PvE, my alts know better than to bring my warrior main with them. He watches the guild hall while they get it done 💪 Sometimes they bring him trophies so he feels included...

I like the idea mentioned above. Only one banner active at a time carried on your back. This would open up fun banner gameplay while giving us much needed access to pulsing boons. Only having one possible at a time means they could be a bit more powerful too.

Very few things crack me up as much as "out of stock" digital items 😒 Anet used to be all about breaking the mold. However, as others have stated, it is totally up to them how they want to market. And we do want them to profit so this game stays healthy 🤷‍♂️

I don't need them to change the code. I just want them to release this skin in multiple colors.

This would be nice. Nothing worse than using a wardrobe unlock and getting a cheap skin you didn't realize you never crafted.

Not everyone has high end machines. I am for any options that can improve my PC's performance. And buy cosmetics for you. Not like you can see our reactions anyway 🤷‍♂️

This was already stated lol. Trust me, they've been playing since 6, a kid's perspective can be very eye opening. They are right, the process should be fun. That is why games exist 🤷‍♂️ Guild Wars gets a lot of things right but this particular collection misses the mark mostly because of excessive collections. I love the idea of raising my own mount and parts of this are fun. But two back to back "Easter Egg Hunts" really kicks it off wrong. The parts where you actually interact with your skyscale are what we need more of. Less of the "get to this point and click on this item." "Good, now do it 20 times to earn the opportunity to do it again 20 more times." Sorry, that isn't fun and could be replaced with anything else.

While I agree on the life lessons, they are also homeschooled. I prefer our game time together to be strictly about fun and escape, not preparing to have fun. The skyscale collection leans too much towards the latter in its overall setup. I do not use this game for teaching honestly. That's not the purpose for us. They have soooo much of that already. This game is our fantasy time cause we finished our responsibilities for the day or week or whatever.

For mine, they just didn't like doing collections. They would literally stop doing it and just play on maps that allowed them to borrow the mount. They burned out after finishing a collection only to unlock another big collection. "Daddy why is there another collection? We just want to play with the dragon!" I'm all for difficult to achieve titles or earning exclusive skins. Gating a fun mechanic like mount flight behind a grind wall is silly and poor marketing frankly. Make the fun mechanics easy to obtain via playing the story and do big collections, like the sky scale one, for earning flashy "look at what I achieved" skins or titles. Or sell skins in the gem store by putting the mount in more people's hands in the first place.

I would argue that legendaries are actually more of a grind. As for your assessment, you're right, players did ask for this 🤷‍♂️ That said, I was not one of them...

I have every mount. It wasn't until I started helping my kids get their mounts that I truly learned how "not fun" some of the acquisition methods are. Lecture me all you want about how it's fine but know that you would sing a different tune if you had to explain it to your 10 year old who, after a week of gaming, still can't have daddy's cool mount.

I mean, sure if all mounts had similar requirements. They don't.

I'm not opposed to high requirements but I do feel mount acquisition would be better if paired with the natural story progression. Getting the raptor, springer and skimmer felt right. The others, as side quests kind of annoyed me 🤷‍♂️
