  1. I've also been playing since release. When has rifle ever been good in spvp?
  2. This probably isn't a bug. Just poor design. Last night I got disconnected during a pvp match through no fault of my own. Once back in game I was forced to sit for a full 30 secs before I'm allowed to play again. Any Anet Employee care to explain why? My team already lost my participation in a close match but also I need to wait 3 times as long as I normally would. How does it make sense? I should not have to wait any less or more time than I would get from a normal respawn.
  3. First rule of pvp, don't die. No one fights on point at all times. It's more important to live, to survive. Stealth lets me open without being seen and get out of trouble. Smokescale has been top tier in pvp since release. I dont find your opinion completely useless. But don't give pvp advice if you don't play pvp. If you think pvp in gw2 is toxic, have you played any other competitive online games? It's tame in comparison.

  5. I'm with ya. Why do the buffs and nerfs swing so far? It's ridiculous. Maybe I'm being a little TIN FOIL HAT....is it possible they do this intentionally so they can in turn make Ranger useless? Remember Druidic Clarity? Removed 13 condis and nerfed down to 3. So much for incremental adjustments. Puts me into a bit of a pickle. Do I play the NEW OP specs to compete? And then get devastated by the nerfs. Or just play something decent, underperform but not be disappointed when nerfs come?

  8. Been here since release. The toxicity is like bland hot sauce. A few loud people here and there. A few rage afk'ers. Young men with SOFT Glassy Egos. Speaking of soft....every one of you that calls PvP toxic are '10 ply bud.'
  9. Is it an 'Interesting Goal'? Not particularly. What could possibly make it interesting? Its not bad per se. But it's not going to mean much other than, "I play this game A LOT!" and said class is my favorite.

  12. I think I kind of had a knee jerk reaction. Of course I'm not happy about a nerf. Who ever is? This isn't stopping me from being very strong. I think anet is very Guard Biased. Guard has 3 specs all rated Top Meta atm. Where is the guard nerf? I've seen many classes stay meta and dominant so long another class becomes meta just to counter them.
  13. Playing Druid, I have plenty of dmg before I even need to use CA. And after I do and come out of CA, I'm attacking you. Oh, I might try to get away if there are more than one. But 7/10 times, you aren't catching me. Not after I dropped 3 condis, went stealth and can drop the rest with a utility. And as far as CA skills being easily dodged? That hasn't been my experience. You would have to have 5 secs of stab before I even go into CA to dodge anything. After a daze, a root and a blind, CA5 + pet f2, you're taking significant dmg. I have a hard time believing you main druid. It's ok if you dont. But I dont know anyone who is using mace in pvp. Maybe I am wrong. Someone works out a mace build, Ill try it. Till then, meh. And I dont care about the plus to heal. Is this a support druid we are hypothetically talking about?

  16. When weapons are bad, none of these small kitten buffs will make a difference. I couldnt give two shits about any of this. Increase all the power efficiency you want. These weapons suck a bag of dicks. Wild Swing: Increased the power coefficient from 1.0 to 1.5 in PvE and from 0.8 to 1.1 in WvW and PvP. Overbearing Smash: Reduced the casting time of the second hit by 0.2 seconds. Unleashed Overbearing Smash: Reduced the casting time of the second hit by 0.2 seconds. Savage Shock Wave: Increased the power coefficient per hit from 0.2 to 0.45 in WvW and PvP. Thump: Increased the radius from 180 to 240. Unleashed Thump: Increased the radius from 180 to 240. The first enemy struck by this skill will grant a greater number of boons.
  17. Its common to read in a profession forum the sentiment of "Anet never lets us have anything good." Well folks, here's proof. Who else got nerfed? How is Druid overperforming? I wish this was a joke. It's not. CMC you shouldn't have a job.

The roll distance is unchanged. Heaven's Palm: This skill now evades attacks and finishes your targeted foe if they are downed and no other enemies are nearby. Deathless Courage: This trait no longer removes aegis from Courage, reduces the duration of Courage, or causes enemy deaths to increase the duration of Courage. This trait now grants the guardian strike damage and condition damage reduction while Courage is active. Legit question, I am not a Guard main. Are any of these things bad?

We're keeping an eye on the strength of Evasive Purity, but we want to see how the reductions to Healing Spring and Glyph of the Stars impact the build's susceptibility to conditions before making further adjustments. We've also made a few improvements to the wilderness survival specialization to make it a more appealing defensive option for power-based builds as well as condition-based builds. Increased outgoing strike damage when above 50% health and increased incoming strike reduction when below 50% Empathic Bond: This trait has moved to the master tier, replacing Shared Anguish. This trait now cleanses conditions when swapping pets instead of when using a Beast skill. Carnivore: This trait has been added to the grandmaster tier slot previously held by Empathic Bond. Steal health from enemies when you or your pet disable them. Druid Grace of the Land: This trait now applies might instead of alacrity in WvW and PvP. Natural Balance: This trait no longer reduces incoming strike damage. This trait now grants boon duration. Glyph of the Stars: Increased the cooldown of this skill from 48 seconds to 60 seconds in WvW and PvP. Reduced the number of conditions cleansed per pulse from 2 to 1 in WvW and PvP. Reduced the revival percentage from 12% to 8% in WvW only. Untamed Unleashed Ambush skills will no longer be automatically used when autoattack is enabled. Unnatural Traversal: This skill now grants quickness instead of might. Increased the vulnerability stacks applied from 2 to 10. 😅🤣😂😂😆🙃 Where? Who? How? This is complete Horse 💩

  21. I don't think that matters in real pvp/wvw application. I want to use my pet as a pet and not a Buff Generator. On swap buffs has always been bad design and I do mean always, since launch it's dumb. Maybe 'other rangers' disagree. And you, glad you admitted that Rangers need real stability. Nothing was hyperbolic about what he said. It's not an exaggeration to make a point. It's not an exaggeration at all. Maybe it's not applicable to certain builds. /shrug. f and Mr Boyer, I respect your dedication and passion...but, I don't think it matters what we think. ANET will do whatever they want to do. It's like American Politics. A bill will be introduced. The bills name will be "Raise minimum Wage bill" and everyone will take it at face value. Vote for it. But look at the details and it lowers minimum wage by 4 dollars. In the same way, ANET could say they are making these POSITIVE changes for Rangers and everyone takes it at face value. Or they just don't have the time to do anything about it. What are we gonna do? We gonna buy plane tickets to Washington and peaceful protest outside of ANET? As someone said in the past, "Got no time for dat."
