  1. Hello!I am playing exclusively with action camera. At some bosses, for example, XERA, sometimes (for example when we start to fight her and she is 100% health) my Weakening Charge moves past here even when she is my target. The skill performs the animation just when it doesn't have a target. When the skill bugs like this, my weakening charge performs this the whole fight and if we wipe - the next and etc. At some bosses, for example, Sebatha, Sic'em skill (for example when she teleports back to middle and there are the mini boss and her) says I don't have a target, even when she is targeted and I am facing her and I see her icon and the other regular things when you target something. I am posting this in bugs because I have asked in general chat several times for any solution and noone could give me any + I have asked in several discord channels for raid training - nobody has any idea. Maybe, a very small group of people play with action camera and this bug, if it is one, is not very popular but I would love to see some feedback here.
  2. Hello guys, I am trying to figure out how to fix this. When I play a daredevil staff thief in raids my Weakening Charge skill makes me move past my current target (the boss) - it is like I don't have a target and the skill just makes me move forward. One boss that I can think about is Xera but there are more. And sometimes, at some bosses (not all), when I play Hunter I can't cast sic em because the game tells me I need a target for this even when I have a target (I literally see the boss icon with the health bar and the red circle around it). One boss that does this is Sabatha but there are more. I play in action camera mode. P.S. Don't know if this is the right section for this post. I just hope that someone can assist me with a simple solution.
  3. Just to add something: At some encounters, the camera is even more distant from the character. The angle makes the skills even further making it impossible to land some skills.
  4. If they have been working on this side project for years why do they need these positions now? Doesn't the game engine development begin in the core of everything and won't they need these specialists from the beginning of the project and not after years of development? Sorry, did I miss something? Do you have any source about this project on consele. I mean Any source? maybe it's more of the latter they were working on multiple titles before the mass layoffs graphically, UE4 would make GW2 look prettier by a mile but it's not a good engine for MMORPGs so i doubt it's going to be for GW2. -- don't get me wrong, i'd love for gw2 to improve engine/performance/graphics wise but i think for an MMORPG of GW2's scale (environments, playercounts, calculations) i think a new custom engine would be better than UE4 By the way, many MMOs are using Unreal Engine, just browsed like 20 of which many are very popular like Blade & Soul, Tera, Ark etc. The good with GW2 is that it has instanced maps where 120-150 players are at the same time (max) if more people want to get into that map they are just redirected to a different instance. That is why performance-wise, with some adjustments, the unreal engine can work (by work I mean make GW2 with a lot better performance and a lot prettier) for GW2.

Yesterday I was browsing the careers page at ArenaNet and I saw this:LEAD UNREAL ENGINEERandSENIOR GAMEPLAY ENGINEER With one of his jobs to "Design and implement scalable, performant and secure systems" and one of the requirements, "Robust experience with Unreal Engine 4". So, will we finally get a graphic engine upgrade? Or maybe ArenaNet is working on a mysterious new title that will use Unreal Engine?   7. Guys do you think there will be another legendary trinket, like another ring or an amulet? Because the current effect seems unfinished to me like something is preparing. Maybe after icebrood saga, an amulet which needs map achievements + strike achievements?
  8. I agree, ONLY if anet remove the condi cleanse mechanics.This is a direct counter to condi damage and it is super strong. Some builds clean conditions like there is no tomorrow.If there is an additional defensive condi modifier, the mitigation will be super broken. It will be so broken that it would be faster just to delete all conditions from the game. defensive condi damage modifier + condi cleanse = baddefensive condi damage modifier OR condi cleanse = good Also resistence boon exists. Do you understand?
  9. I voted yes just because of 2 reasons: Wanna see the return of stronger elitism (for example 30k+ achievement points and 150+ dhuum kp) I heal ;)

Okay, I know it is allowed to sell raids, cms etc. for in-game currency but at the moment there are 8 games in the LFG that are selling raids, 2 guilds are recruiting and 2 groups are looking for a static that will be next Monday. And these games are constantly refreshed and go above others. I feel like I open one of these websites with 100000 popup ads and I can't even install adblocker. This is hurting the game experience. Suggestion: Make another section where these games can be posted and not in Looking for a group or Looking for more
  11. The action camera is very cool and I am playing with it exclusively for 4 years. I find it faster and better for my playstyle. Unfortunately, 1 week ago I decided to start raiding (yes, I know 4 years and I haven't raid before). I picked druid as it is easier for beginners as a friend suggested. During many of the encounters, I was literally limited to using some of my skills correctly because of the action camera. Many ground skills CANNOT be dropped at my feet. I have to zoom to 1st person camera in order to drop the skill at my feet, which isn't really an option in raids. Check the screens: With action camera: Without action camera: etc. for the rest As you can see, from the 1st skill, because of the camera I lose ~50% of the skill radius and can't target it precisely, because it limits me how close to me I can place the skill. And for some skills, you can't even target self, like at all. This is bad because I can't target some players OR I have to move from a stack (for example) to apply my skill to everyone correctly. Many times this results in taking huge damage and risking a wipe or skip healing some players and this results in a downed state and more complicated encounters. The case is the same for any other skill of the same type, no matter the profession. I tried to fix this with some settings but I didn't find anything. If there is something that I am missing (except playing the first-person camera in raids), please let me know because the struggle is real. If not, ANET, please fix this!

  14. From That Shaman (and the book), there will be 2 more maps in Icebrood saga with the 1st coming in September or October. So I guess April - June will be the release of the expansion.

That's almost never actually happened though for MMOs. Some portion of the base migrates over, a few people join, but not many. When MMOs grow it's due to new content, not which icon people click on their desktop to launch it.So Steam will take 20-30% cut ONLY from these few people that migrate or join.

  17. Most of the mount skins (by vast majority) are quintessentially just retextured models with nothing new or interesting. I think I'd be upset if I went to a pizzeria for a $20 pizza labeled as 'gourmet' only to see it come out looking like something bought from the wal-mart freezer section. D912pxy increased my FPS in Lion's arch from 50-55 to 75-80, at different world bosses with A LOT of players - 25-30 fps to 40-45 fps and in WvW 3 squads against each other from 30-40 fps to 50-60fpsI am using kinda old i7 4770k boosted to 4.6k GHz and GTX1080 (not TI), with 16gb ramSo D912pxy will work for most of the players.
  20. What about the meta overall length? Can you guys cut some time from here and there to make it a little shorter - 60-90 mins max?
  21. Since you are posting in the PvP section and asking why the guy you killed should be rewarded just because he has a teammate around? It is because the PvP matches are team-oriented. The other guy seems like a smart player if he knows you are better he moves with 1 more player and gets +5 points because the end objective of every match is to reach 500 points faster (at least for 5vs5 and not for the 2vs2 filler). Also, if the health pool is lower why would I ever stomp someone and not just keep attacking him? There is a reason we have a stomp mechanic. Next week in WvW there won't be a downed state at all :)

  23. Dear ANET, dear players, The 3rd expansion is already under development. My guess (with that shaman info) is that we will have 4 more episodes in the Icebrood saga and q3/4 2021 the 3rd expansion will be released, hopefully. However, I am concerned about 1 thing: What kind of elite specs will we get? That is why I have a reasonable request to ANET team:Whatever you develop guys, please consider that some professions don't have a place in every major activity in the game. For example, the thief and the ranger in WvW squad vs squad vs squad fights. With the new elite specs, I would like to see them feel these gaps and not only introduce the same profession role but in a different way.

How about Condition damage depending on three stats as well?or removing Ferocity and have Precision increase both critical hit chance and damage?After all, "it is only fair" if both damage types depend on the same amount of stats. Ok but then we have to remove the condi duration reduction and condi cleanse which is a direct counter to condi damage.
