  1. Create a few maps instead of just one to rotate from for the holidays.
  2. Good luck on the new studio!Welcome to the gamer side! Now you bash anet and not worry about studio backlash..so much. Anyways, good luck on your new path.
  3. Have music instruments that can be obtain by some game-play aspect.Give good rewards for completing different musical feats (ex. play a list of songs with an audience in certain places etc).Turn everyone into a musician.
  4. Make login screen and character selection background change periodically, maybe monthly, bi-weekly or so.Have an option to choose from older screens and backgrounds.Helps freshen things up and being as some people seem to be weary of the same old screens.
  5. Sub-level 80 maps are mainly for training to get to level 80. Most will eventually achieve level for most of their alts. There doesn't need to be that many sub 80 level maps really. Another work around could be to convert most maps to level 80 and leave only 3 or 4 maps per race to be sub level 80 maps. Players cannot stay level sub level 80 forever while playing so there's not a whole lot of reason to keep so many maps sub 80. Quicker leveling in those maps might apply here too because who wants to take forever to level their alts to get to the endgame content (instead of tomes to skip leveling, this content can be more used by most players more frequently instead). Harvest-able materials in the maps can stay the same materials to not negatively impact the mat economy too much. Having more low level mats in high level areas would also help balance available mats in the economy also, on the other hand. I'd rather have multiple lower level maps to vary the leveling experience for my alts. Not be forced to do one map over and over again because it's the only one level appropriate. Or maybe a short series of game types that bring you to level 80 with one crafting maxed at the end. This leveling series would have beginner dungeons, fractals, raids, open world instance, jumping puzzle, mini game, DE, hearts, meta events, world boss, underwater area, map completion, crafting, BL Trading, specially made for leveling and be randomized to make things less monotonous. That's what we already have for the most part. Except I can choose to level however I wish. Not with whatever method a randomizer decides I need to level.Have this as a guided option after entering open world.
  6. Expand on elite specializations. Add more non-elite specialization that becomes available with each specialization. Add more skills to each specialization. Add select-able elite specialization mechanics. Add select-able skill groups for weapons. Add skills and/or mechanics available for mounts with each e-spec (not sure how this would work). TBC (to be continued)

  8. They already sell items to get unlimited free teleport to LS3 + 4 zones. Directly to starting meta event area way points.Which item is this?

  10. Or have free gates that allow for selection of any one of the meta event map areas at meta event starting point.
  11. Those scaled rewards aren't usually that great though.
  12. Hey OP check this thread outhttps://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/72387/idea-rotating-open-world-nightmare-mode-mist-storm Sounds like a good idea hehe.Giving low level players a non-upleveled instance can solve some low level problems though.
  13. Or they can give low level players an option to stay in a low level instance of that map.
  14. There are plenty of low level maps around. They could also upscale low level players for these maps too to help them out.
  15. Probably because a saga will have less content than a season. The recent seasons were made of episodes in which every release had:A new map, with at least one new meta eventA new legendary weaponAssorted other features Looks like a saga will not have a new map for every release (they may add half of a map on a release and add more to the same map on the next, for example), and nothing has been said of new legendary weapons or a new meta event per release. So looks like a saga will be less than a season. They said that indeed we'll have fewer maps. That allows them more time to generate content and animations for that map.And i rather have one map full of content and events, than 3 maps where you wait around for something to happenLess map jumping. Doesn't sound too bad.
  16. Have some random low level maps that get captured and get fully leveled to 80 with level 80 drops and all, for a day or more a week. Maybe add some level 80 metas or events at this time too. Maps could be modified to add mount content too. This may make low level maps more worth returning to.
  17. You can do this already. Buy some gems, get the episodes you missed at 200 gems each and use whatever is left over (or whatever you want to spend) on some gem store items. This is a cost savings and starter pack for new players. You also need to buy the last ls season in addition to this package to get all the episodes. How many episodes does a new player have to buy in order to catch up with the rest? 5 seasons worth of episodes in addition to pof expansion. Doesn't that seem excessive given their expired shelf life. Now, it would not be 5 Seasons, but 3. There's no purchasing Season 1, and Season 5 is yet to be released. The seasons will keep adding up.
  18. And continuing. When season 10 comes, new players will never catch up or pay a ransom otherwise.
  19. 5 seasons worth of episodes. That's a lot of grinding.Grind wars it is.

  21. How do they make money in them though if they give away for free for regular players and then again later for new players? I’m all for a better strategy, but I’m not sure basically giving them away to all (which is what this leads to), is a good business decision This is a system on all missed episodes that can be encumbering to new players. The new strategy would only encumber them with the most recent episodes where anet could make money.Old episodes have came at the cost of old retail packages that have served their uses. People and anet have gotten their use out of them. Why hinder new players with this encumbering.
  22. This is for new players who don't have older episodes.
  23. This money solution makes for bigger and better sagas.
  24. For new players, you get old episodes with this pass in addition to goodies and convenience. For old players you get $30 worth of goodies, convenience and any old episodes (before current ones) you might've missed.
