  1. You seem to be implying that most people who buy gems fit that criteria, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people's average spending is less than $10 per month, and much more erratic, with long gaps where they don't spend anything at all and then the occasional large purchase. (I'm an extreme example of that, I've sometimes bought 4000 gems at once and at other times I've gone for 6 months or a year without buying any at all with real money, it all depends on what I want to buy and how much I'm willing and able to spend on GW2.) Unless you are one of the people who habitually buys a fixed amount of gems on a regular basis - which in my experience is mostly people who were already in the habit of doing that from subscription games and can't break out of the idea that's how you're "supposed to" do it - there is a huge difference between choosing to spend money for some optional extra cosmetics as and when it's convenient for you to do so and a subscription or season pass or whatever you want to call it which requires you to pay a regular fee up front for access to a game you've already bought, even if they throw in some extra items to justify an inflated cost for that subscription. Season Passes not needed for new free saga content. Only logging in. But if you aren't able to log in, then buy a pass and get some goodies and old episodes with it.
  2. Also, without an expansion they can sell this as a revenue supplement instead.
  3. Possibly only real money but it's only really a convenience item with bonuses to be purchased annually or semi-annually to receive more bonuses. Any possibly only real money to be a better value for anet.
  4. Season passes are not necessary for new free content release. They are a annual convenience item with goodie bonuses with proceedings contributing to new content.
  5. -Make a season pass that would help cover costs of fairly large new saga content (close to the size of an expansion).-Season pass is not needed get new free saga episodes.-Season passes would make logging on in to receive new free episodes unnecessary for a season (roughly a year).-Passes would include lots of high value and quality goodies to make it a good value (possibly as much as a set of dropped packages or more).-Higher priced season passes add more goodies accordingly.-Passes are not required to receive new free sagas/episodes (log-ons would be required in place of it).-Passes unlock past episodes prior to the last season.-Season passes could be purchased at anytime.-Annual season passes start at $30.If needed, passes must be purchased with money.-Passes would be an almost needed and high valued convenience item purchaseable annually.-Passed could also give weekly additional high value goodies (lasting for a few weeks) as a bonus too.-Passes could also be done as a semi-annual pass if demand deems so.
  6. Make past (prior to last) living story season episodes free (unlocked) with latest expansion purchase or to owners of it.
  7. Yeah there looks to be some home instance development so maybe someday you'll see your home instance, and when it's easier to access it too (instead of having to buy something to easily visit your home instance... :-p)
  8. There's less and less wps now with the new maps. Sometimes that's better though, for their own reasons.Another suggestion: Make home instances like guild halls where you can get different versions of home instances if you want to. Also add mounts to home instances for faster traveling.
  9. Make things more inconvenient to sell more convenient things. I see what you're doing. "This is why we can't have nice things".
  10. Don't sell the way to get home. Sell what goes in the home. It's like selling access to buy things on amazon.
  11. Convert those to something else...gems or a selected thing of choice.
  12. Make a home instance shortcut in the main game screen on the top left side of the screen like hero, mail and all the other shortcuts. It's the home instance.
  13. Save-able dye builds. Dye templates. Dye build wars. See title description.
  14. Elite skills that are modifiable. One or two attributes of the skill can be changed to better suit playing needs. And because they're elite skills.
  15. Yeah just leave the map at the target location and the player can zoom out of map if they want.
  16. Make crafting less confusing. Have a static GUI tree of materials/items and component parts that fill-in necessary parts as needed to craft a desired item instead switching screens etc.Add a crafting storage that is about the size of a bank storage group slot that automatically places any crafted item into it instead of your bags. This storage would be upgradeable also. This helps separate crafting items from bag items when crafting so that crafting can easily be continued if it is resumed at a later time.
  17. Option to show map information (poi, vistas, way points etc) on the top portion of the screen for easier map completion usage.Option to show names of POI, way points and other information on world map and mini map to find things easier without having to mouse over said things.Option to show and change map layers shown in mini map.Option to show Commanders, mentors etc at all times (whether on the same layer or not etc). When swimming on surface of water, automatically choose skimmer mount as mount to select and when out of water change back to previously selected mount.
  18. Bad news is weapons can.not.be dyed, they where coded in a way that they where never meant to be. To give weapons that ability they would have to redo each and every weapon in the game. It was something that came up when HoT was being talked about and people asked then. Same for mix and match armor weights. They where never designed to be and would be impossible to do unless they had unlimited resources and people willing to do the work of redesigning every weapon and item in the game. New weapons could be coded to be dyed.
  19. If players join numbered tags then there is no point in asking. One less thing to ask.
  20. Wardrobe saver sounds like a possibility.
