  1. This I thought of this when watching a game video of another game which had a pet that was not well utilized. Not sure about skyward sword but that sounds good that it has this type of gameplay in it because this would probably enhance the game experience in gw2 and that couldn't hurt.I have played most of the original games of the zelda series and have been a fan since the original Legend of Zelda on the NES. Btw, my handle is not Zelda based, that's just a coincidence. It was based on a name from a random name generator.
  2. Have a mount that free account players can use to give players who are trying out the game a sample of the games mounts. This could entice players to buy the full game to acquire the remaining mounts.A light simple new mount or a modified version of an existing one may be suitable for this purpose.New potential customers deserve this. ;-)
  3. A companion creature that a player carries along with them throughout the open world that can perform free flight movement to assist in new gameplay mechanics. When the creature is released, the player is immobilized (possible changed into another form) and then the camera is moved over to the perspective of the creature. The player can then control the creature in free flight. The creature is used to perform any number of gameplay mechanics that a player or mount is unable to. If this creature becomes downed, it resurrects to be rereleased after a certain length of time at the players position. The flight distance could be limited by map size, time or radius from player location if wanted. This creature could also have some sort of third person flight shooter mechanic to add some shooter type of mechanic to the game. This creature cold fly around like a drone for racing, retrieving, flight combat or any other number of gameplay types.When a player is finished with the creatures usage, the player would fly back to where it was released to be docked and switched back to player character usage.This is a free flight gameplay mechanic that would not allow players to play in free flight without bypassing other content currently available in the game.
  4. I don't feel like the majority if players have had this problem or even a small percentage. Or even the frequency of this problem being prevalent.
  5. Just make a no portal zone radius in the location of chests and such. Or at least where shenanigans occur most frequently.
  6. Their could also be a possibilty for a underwater exclusive mount or more of them. Who knows. It could have other unique abilities like current mounts. This mount mastery seems like a small dip in the pool (water references intended).
  7. Also an option to allow players to display their armor and weapon info would be nice for fashion war players.
  8. The option would be optional for players to display themselves (or not to display).Never know how useful it can be until you've tried it. If it gets too toxic or disruptive, it can always be disabled.At least an option for players to show what their potential role in a group (some string of text they type and display) could be of some use to the group (this could also be used to give themselves a nickname or whatever title they want). Displaying a build could help players assist in build optimization for different play situations.
  9. Players are able to display their builds in the party and squad player roster gui. Another player would mouse over their name or build icon and see what their build is easily.Players would also be able to have a build name displayed in the roster too. This would help with group organization and composition recognition in wvw and other group settings.
  10. exactly. this can already be done ingame if you assign/bind hotkeys to your templates (just not in-combat) Yes, not in combat but build template is kind of similar.
  11. One that adds a second 6-0 skill bar that can swap out like the weapon skills but removes one one trait line (or part of one).
  12. Major traits are like utility skills and minor traits would be more like weapon skills in the way they are selected.
  13. Add sets of minor traits that can be selected for each trait line set.Example:Trait line A: has core minor trait set, new minor trait set, and another minor trait set. Currently you have some traits you can individually choose and a set of others that you can't choose. I suggest being able to from other sets. So basically your suggesting is to remove minor traits and replace them with major traits in their place, meaning that each trait line consists of 6 major trait choices instead of 3 minor and 3 major? If so, then I vote no on that one. Minor trait sets come in sets of threes that will change in sets of threes together unlike majors where each trait is independent of each other.

  15. Have different sets of minor traits that enhances or works well with a major trait in that trait line set. The major trait of subject could be a grandmaster trait or maybe just any major trait..Minor trait sets could also be provided to create different builds for different trait line sets.Minor trait sets would help create more customized specific builds by adding some flexibility and specific case usage for minor traits.Minor traits would function much like changing weapons.Minor trait sets could also have names given to them to describe their usage intentions.These could also be added and called elite minors.. who knows.

Maybe they can have a leaderboard and commander position option for each part of a meta in the meta maps to help show that the map is ready for the meta and show recognition for long standing leaders. Unique GUIs would appear before each event to allow time for group organization. The leaderboard could should show completion times, special completions, smallest group with a completion, number of completions, meta incompletions..maybe, and so on.

Give commanders the ability to assign numbers or names or symbols (or a combination of) to squad members and be able to place those designations on the map/mini-map as cues for those assigned persons. Also the same thing for sub groups. Disposable mounts that have; limited fuel (can be refueled), range, ammunition (can be reloaded), overheating capacities, limited upgrades, limited shields, parts that can be damaged and disabled and so on. Spawning points for disposable mounts that when activated or captured, spawn mounts at certain rates with a limited number of active mounts available at anytime. The spawn points could also have cool-down times after producing so many.
  18. They can just refund bag expansions when a character is deleted as a way to solve this problem...
  19. This could be added to parts of crafting and gained through mastery achievements.

Be able to custom build your own weapons by changing parts of it; like the color, the material, particle effects, footsteps if available, sounds, material, size, size of parts, name of weapon and so on.Templates made can be saved to build-tags for each weapon.Weapons tags could easily be shared, swapped and changed like build templates.
  21. Suggestion: Add additional selectable profession mechanics in addition to the base one for added profession mechanic flavor without having the need to select a specific Elite Specialization to change the profession mechanic.
  22. Add a clickable GUI in the game screen next to the mount changer GUI to change builds and gear easily during gameplay. Players then don't need to open the hero panel to click to a new build.This is preferable when there are too many hotkeys.
  23. Motivation:Each mechanic changes gameplay utility. An elite mechanic could change to base mechanic if it is more useful for a boss battle or whatever the situation is. Players would not be locked into one mechanic when using an elite spec. Adds more flexibility to each E-spec.
