  1. Using spike builds, aka focusing a group/a person with a timed skill is as old as Guild Wars 1. I remember playing good old Chain Lightning Spike in the very first year GW 1 was released. This specific spike was nerfed after some time. But spike builds were and will ever be PvP builds you have to be prepared to face. And that's why a "Infuser" (https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Infuse_Health) is seen in (I dunno) 50 % of teams. https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Spike
  2. In the graveyard area of Echovald Wilds there was/is a such an aggressive event, if there's one idle player around, you will get kicked out of participation for this event. Because there is simply not enough materials for you to connect. And while you are waiting for new stuff to spawn, if a new player decides to participate and finishes the event, you get nothing at the end – literally.
  3. Cursed Shore is bugged. No Rifts can be opened. And I … I can't believe this …
  4. I mean: Nothing wrong with helping new players getting into Fractals. Quite the opposite. But why is it just one or the other? Why remove the extra currency and the goodies, when you simply could add the new stuff on top of it?
  5. I'm done with map completion. But, yeah: Like most other content, this map has seen its peak for some time now. It might celebrate a little rebirth, when people need to farm more Stardust and other currency for their legendary armor. It would be acceptable, if this event/PoI wasn't locked behind a 5 person event. But still: Why? It's not that this debate has been around for the first time. Ignoring the past discussions and the frustration behind that is just ignorant.
  6. It's the second time (today) I'm standing at the group event without enough people to start it. Had the same issue yesterday. Even advertising in LFG didn't help. Waited 30 minutes and gave it up afterwards. Fortunately, it's my last character for map completion.
  7. Any Sylvari inside this organisation and who passes away will carry their knowledge to the Pale Tree. And because of that any newborn Sylvari will know about this "secret society". Doesn't make any sense to me.
  8. Well, I have slain more than 3,000 Treasure Mushrooms and still waiting for my Invisible Boots. RNG is cruel. I know that feeling, when effort doesn't pay off, and it all comes down to a dice roll.
  9. Funny enough, I created a new Charr yesterday. I was tempted to go for a male look. But then I was reminded of the not so appealing character customization (at least not my cup of tea). Went for female like 80 % of my Charr characters, which is a kitten shame. But, oh well …
  10. It's about the brand new weapons each profession gets, like rifle for Mesmer, staff for Warrior and mace for Ranger.
  11. You ain't wrong. But right now I'm not wishing, I'm simply asking a question.
  12. There's something which is bothering me for a while now. In case you do not know: Each profession will get access to a new weapon soon. For example: Mesmer will get rifle and Ranger will get mace. Right now you already have access to the "core" weapons a profession can wield and also – with the Weaponmaster Training – the specialization weapons like torch on a Warrior or rifle on a Thief. Each weapon comes usually with a traitline for buffing the efficiency of this very weapon. The already mentioned specialization weapons benefit from the associated elite specialization. Other weapons like the pistol of the Engineer benefits from core traitlines like Firearms. Each profession will now get a new weapon (rifle for Mesmer and so on). But I heard nothing about a traitline which is associated or at least buffs this weapon a little. Or have I missed something?
  13. The hammer ambush is bugged since the start of the last expansion. Sometimes this skill's channeling duration is normal. But most of the time it's reduced for no clear reason.
  14. I'm not really bothering with relicts. I put Monk relicts on my healers and called it a day. I probably start to "worry" about relicts, after the legendary relict can be crafted. Right now and with the fact in mind that a lot more/new relicts will be delivered into the game later, I simply do not care.
  15. I got "The Long Way Around" minidungeon in the Straits of Devastation on my list today. This is the first big Nope for me. I had to do this thing 2 or 3 times for other reasons and was always happy when it's done, simply because of the reason: It's no fun. No fun at all. And why the heck should I bother with something which is no fun? And that's the reason why options are a good thing and should be (re)added into the game.
  16. Just tried to help a group to obtain this achievement. Nothing changed. The last ship still has no collision. It changed after rejoining the instance. Yet, no one got the achievement.
