Yes teapot said for years ele was op while 99% of players where saying the opposite and were forced to use other classes for raids and cms. And as far I could see i mostly saw him on necro never on Ele, so i don't think he's one of those 0.001% of players particularly skilled with Ele piano play. Anet made one of the most popular class ever (mage) to be effective only in the hands of very very small number of people. Good job - _-"

Search online for the last weekend Discord Leak and you will see how they balance the game. Anet is removing everything about it, but some people managed to save screenshots and even forum pages about it on external web archives. If you search well you will find them. Then you will understand many things about last years of balance patches.

I still struggle to understand this. It needs to be filtered from what? From corruption? What is corruption? I read that void is all 6 types of magic together, and then that also ley lines magic is the 6 types of magic together. But then what u need filter out of magic in first place? I'm so confused. I keep reading and reading and none of this lore makes sense to me 😭

Ok after reading this thread now I have some seriously big questions: 1 - Who created Soo-Won? We know the void does not sustain life as its pure chaos. But if Soo-Won shaped the void into a balanced state that allowed life and created Tyria, then she wasn't living inside the Void nor she was created by the Void wasn't she? 2 - Soo-Won was the very first living being as she created the whole Tyria. But we know that Tyria is a planet with observable sky and stars, so did she create the whole universe and the stars as well or only Tyria the planet? Interesting to note that during Arah Telescope path is mentioned the dragons had effects on the stars too. I don't think Soo-Won was created by the mists, as only Kralk and Aurene got ability to travel to the mists only absorbing Balthy magic. Also, the gods abandoned Tyria as a confrontation with elder dragons could have been catastrophic and not a certain win, this puts dragons and gods on the same level, is it possible that who created Soo-Won also created the gods? 3 - did Kormir and the gods knew about the Void and were they scared of it making it the reason they fled away? I would say that Balthy didn't know about Void or thought he would control it as he tried to absorb Kralk's magic? With EoD they opened a whole new level of speculations and new questions 😂

I gree with op so much. It shocked me at the neginning of EoD when we got cut off from Aurene's cave in Shing Jea as she was resting and only caithe was allowed in. We count nothing as champion and caithe's bond with Aurene is clearly stronger/deeper as she was even branded. Total nonsense.

Hi, I would like to suggest a quality of life improvement for Catalyst. instead of an F5 I would find it much more comfortable if pressing again the element i want the sphere with pops the jade sphere. I will explain. If I press F1 to attune to fire, pressing it again I will activate the sphere in fire. This would be so much more comfortable than pressing a f5. thank you

Hi guys, I confirm that the ticket I had with support was looked after by the other GM that took in onboard. After I have sent certain screenshots they have requested me and they checked my account, they have sent me the 2 gifts of exploration that i was missing to my in game email. Thanks to everyone that tried to help.

yes I take that one first, and then the last 2 heart in Plains of Ashford. Look, I am very OCD, I would never delete 2 gifts of exploration, I have crafted loads of legendaries and 2 legendary armor, I do know which items to keep. I have not received the gifts from the mesmer, I am 100% sure about this. I have a specific tab in my bank dedicated to components of legendary Items, I would have put them immediately in there if I would have got them. I have checked WvW I have all completed.

@Ashantara.8731 I went back to the ticket page to get you the message from support and I noticed the ticket has been reassigned to another GM that asked me for some screenshots and more info to investigate, hopefully this one will be able to help. even if they are added in 2014 the fact remains that i have completed them in 2022. Where are my gifts of exploration? You can be sure I haven't deleted them, I also have Items that are not even available in game anymore in my bank like traits resets, I keep everything and certainly i would not delete some gifts of exploration. Are you certain these 2 hearts weren't added in the 100% map exploration as well?

Hello, Can someone please help me with this as Submitting an ingame ticket and also a support ticket on https://help.guildwars2.com/ was not helpful at all. I have completed 100% of the map of Tyria with my Ele, Guardian, Thief, and last with Mesmer. If you enquiry on my account you will see that have crafted 5 Gen one legendary weapons and I have 1 gift of exploration in my bank for a total of 6 Gifts. Last week I have completed the Tyrian map with my mesmer, I realised I was missing only 2 hearts from Plains of Ashford, so content that was there since 2012 (NOT new content). The two hearts are right outside Black Citadel in Plains of Ashford: - Help Tolona Ironrustler with her farm (Level 2) - Rid the Traning area from Pests. (Level 3) Here is where the hearts are located on the map (click on the image to enlarge it) This is a screenshot of the ingame email from the Tyrian Exploration Society dated 4 days ago, confirming I have completed Plains of Ashford map I have completed the two hears and reached the 100% map completition but I have not received the two gifts of exploration. I have checked every single map of core tyria and I have everything 100%. I read on the forum that going to the chamber of secrets usually fixes this bug, but it didn't for me, I have never received the 2 gifts for completing the map with my mesmer. That was the biggest and most exciting news I've heard about Guild Wars 2 after the shock to know we would be seeing Cantha again! Loved the communication. Now I am wondering where the story would go in the next expac, the Dragon story is finished so now is a blank canvas. Who will be the new villain? Will the gods return? Will we open new never seen areas on the Tyrian planet? it really does feel like an era just ended and a new era begins! I have to admit I am not very hopeful about balance, even if Josh Davis said "everyone should be able to use their main in all content and have at least a viable build" my main is Ele, and I gave up permanently on it with the release of Catalyst and it's further nerf with the excuse it was doing too much DPS and perma quickness. I mean really? I did EoD story with Catalyst as goodbye to it, and I struggled SO much. Done story again with my new chosen main and was super easy (not saying which class to avoid any nerf tbh lol)

Hi I have just completed the Tyria map with my mesmer, I was missing 2 hearts from Plains of Ashford that were there since 2012, right outside black citadel on the left with the cows and the other one more north with cannons and skritts, so not stuff that has been added later. But still no gift of explorations received? I have tried to enter the chantry of secrets already as suggested by someone on other posts. can someone help please? Thank you

I will tell you this with an honest and sincere heart: save your energies, stop begging anet to fix Ele, they never gave a kitten abiut it and never will. Especially if u care about playing the elemental mage, I'm sorry and I feel you, but they have been ignoring the community for YEARS AND YEARS. They even nerfed catalyst now, like another stab in the heart, like it wasn't kitten enough, garbage enough, they even took the disturb to nerf it.

The most clunky and boring kitten I've ever seen in 30 years playing videogames. I would trade it anytime for a fire flower Super Mario with the certainty I would be more effective in any game style available in gw2. Funny stuff they even took the disturb to nerf it!! LOL

Guys scrap it, scrap it all. The Catalyst is a nonsense bug.
