🙄 How about doing something "unique" and make an espec where Ele is ranged with proper top DPS damage with easy rotations? Not a 2222 like thief but maybe 1234... that would make me happy 😂

I've seen it, still a rubbish espec sorry mate. Nobody wanted catalyst as it is right now.

"...also on other professions forums people complain about their class being the worst" 1 - this is simply not true, go and check for yourself, nothing comparable to what happens in Ele forum happens elsewhere. No other class makes people do unhappy like Ele. 2 - I have 2 legendary armors from raids, colaescence, and round 10UFE. None of this made with my Ele main, so please don't tell me people complain about other professions, cause at least with those I can join parties but if I present myself with Ele I get either kicked or asked to change. 3 - Ele is undeniably the weakest class in core traits. Strong core traits is what makes every elite spec strong in most cases. This being said, even if they rework catalyst (not gonna happen and u know) they should fix and unify many core traits to give space to more sustain traits. Strangely in many classes sustain traits come from dps traits (see revenant, thief, necro etc).

Hi Anet, Quite disappointed to see no change at all on Catalyst during the last stream. Is that a way to say to us that you don't care about what we have been saying so far about Catalyst? The message I read here is: "do not expect us to rework Catalyst, it ain't gonna happen". I'm tired you ignoring the community. Tired of being asked to change class in fractals and raids everytime I dare to present myself with my main. And I'm tired of having to use dagger or swords or cele gear. I know I count nothing, i know we all count nothing to you. Using a godmode catalyst again in a stream is the confirmation. You know u can try to sell this kitten during stream but people ain't gonna like it. You'll see...

They need to give us godmode as well if we gotta play that kitten though 🤣

During one of the last streams showing Shing Jea I remember Rubi saying "...I'm in Godmode of course I'm enjoying the Catalyst!". Well dear Rubi try without God mode then we talk again 🙂

Yasss, that one on top of Fort trinity that function as a protection from the risen and apparently as energy source. During personal story we stole it from the kraits which they stole it as well from somewhere in the deeps.... Do you guys know anything more on this fascinating object? On the wiki there's not much tbh.

Recently I have been using a full celestial auramancer tempest dagger/warhorn. Earth 3-1-3, water 1-3-1, tempest 3-2-3 (if I remember correctly). Heal skill sigil, utilities are "feel the burn" , aftershock, glyph of storm, elite of your choice. Runes of the scholar, sigil of force and sigil of accuracy (or sigil of malice or sigil of concentration instead depends). The goal of the build if so be tanky but supportive with perma protection regen vigor 25 might. Dagger/warhorn offers an ok damage output split between condi/phisical. It's hard to die with this build. Unfortunately it's basically melee as usual, but u have lots of combos fields leaps blasts and 2 evades. Every time u get an aura you remove a condition and if you stay in earth you cannot be critically hit. This build is good for general pve and I use it also for wvw roaming which it plays really well but I would change glyph of storm with mist form and elite rebound. You can change earh to air to get fury instead of protection with auras and more damage in general of u need so. Play around with it and adjust to your needs! If you care to be more supportive you can change the last trait to water to mid instead of 1,this way you wont remove conditions with auras but you will share all auras u get with the party. I don't like it though as you share auras already with the utilities so u would stay as I said in first place.

I would like to either use the storm bow or pharus on my Ele tbh. It just doesn't make sense a bulky weapon as a hammer. It's doesn't suit elementalist mage style 😑

This is so kitten true. When you don't have a clue of what u doing or totally run out of ideas you just throw in a generic stats buff as on catalyst that is even so hard to keep up that is unusable effectively leaving a meangless tasteless class. I'm just so baffled about catalyst that I better shut up as I don't wanna be rude. And yes I cannot take it anymore too!

Hello, I tried the untamed and it feels like a normal ranger with the ability to use pet skills on command instead of managed by AI. Overall I don't see anything new nor really innovative on this espec. Thanks

Sorry mate but no, they clearly haven't tested this anywhere else but on a huge hit box immobile test golem, and this is so clear as the sun in all the flows and bad design this spec has. I am just baffled on how some people even if a very very small number are defending the Anet on the Catalyst. I feel insulted by having had this presented to me for real as a playable class in GW2.

I would rather get an automatic switch to the party member with lowest health, that would be a great QoL and solve the targeting issue 😊

I am freaking loving this spec 😍 It gives a big incentive to play with others!! Been doing the beta with a friend of mine and we are having so much fun!!! A part from some bug that it's worth reporting on the bug tread I am very pleased with this spec. It will take a bit to master it but deffo worth it. Thank you! P. S. Now please let's do something revolutionary and super fun for Catalyst too please? Like a total rework? ❤️

I am really loving the Mech! The only things I would improve are: 1- name changing the Mech to allow numbers and symbols 2- possibility to recolor the mech 3- weapon swap would make the combat more adaptable and interesting For the rest I absolutely love this spec! Thank you!

Even more disappointed with Catalyst after seeing Specter and Mecha 🙄. The Specter idea is revolutionary, and the Mecha is just so super cool. Why can't we have something special on Ele as well for once?
