  1. @Irenio CalmonHuang.2048 Inspiring Virtue (NEW): This trait grants you increased damage after activating a virtue. Can someone please tell us the damage increase?
  2. Prot holo lost all source of stab beside from Elixir U or B. Losing out on Just stab does not mean it won't be "meta". Ele is going to still be solid IMO, Look at what happen to Rangers, Mesmers and Warriors overall. I don't see how you the lose of stability is the only issue you have with them at the moment when a majority of other side noders were hit pretty hard in some other ways.Doesn't Crystal Configuration: Eclipse still give stability, or does prot holo not run that Edit: WOW IT WON'T. O___O Welp, I'm not complaining... You have my condolences
  3. I agree, CC skills shouldn't "1 shot" someone, but for it to do close to 0 damage? If they had buffed True Shot's damage, maybe Edit: I've never seen a 6k deflecting shot in my life. The DH would have to be super glass to achieve that
  4. This is key. Do we really think it'll happen though? Also, 4-6 weeks is too slow IMO. After 2-3 weeks of the patch dropping we should already be seeing tweaks. There have to be some oversights in the patch
  5. Will lesser smite condition also remove 3 conditions? @Ben Phongluangtham.1065@Cal Cohen.2358
  6. Yeah, I wouldn't mind a lower CD or added functionality! I realize how important certain skills are for their damage. DPS is already being brought down by ~33% profession wide. Removing an entire skill's damage component can be killer. The current Deflecting Shot can knock off ~15% of a player's HP if it crits. If I lose that damage, I need something to help my other skills pump out enough DPS to compensate for it
  7. For example, dragonhunter's Deflecting Shot will deal damage with a multiplier of .01. Deflecting Shot's damage is currently a decent chunk of DH's DPS. The DPS loss wasn't re-added anywhere. What happens if DH struggles to kill enemies because multiple skills had their multipliers brought down to .01, just because they provide a CC? It does make sense for some skills with CC's to do little to no damage, but some are actually important to the overall rotation. For example, I don't mind Spear of Justice having a .01 multiplier. It provides great functionality. What do you guys think? Edit: A great example I continuously see brought up is Warrior's hammer. 3/5 skills will have a multiplier of .01!Edit #2: A better choice would have been to reduce those skills' damage by 50%.
  8. Deflecting shot doing 0 damage is going to suck so much. I get what ANet is trying to do, but if you're going to make it do 0 damage, up the damage of true shot or AA or something. Its damage is ESSENTIAL to DH
  9. There's going to be less stability access & pistol whip still exists
  10. Does this make sense? I could see if it provided a hard CC with the initial attack, but it doesn't... The buff to the spikes doesn't compensate IMHO
  11. They need to remove energy management and make Rev a CD dependent class like Guardian
  12. This is good. All is well with the world. #PrayForDH
  13. Heavy light granting stability never made any sense. It is not meant to make sense. It was random survivability buff. Honestly, unless this dumpster Fire of balance idiocy with DS changes (highly unlikely), LB will not be PvP viable. It’s damage is going to be none existent. I wish a successful knockback gave protection or regen :v. I think lb 3 is still needed for good synergy with ToF
  14. Does heavy light granting stability even make sense? I just knocked back enemies... and for a short 3 seconds I have stab. If it doesn't have an ICD it may be good.
  15. Are you guys really going to drop Absolute Resolution trait? I don't think I'll drop longbow. Worst case, I'll go scepter/focus instead
  16. We might have to drop smite condition and start running CoP for the stunbreak
  17. I cannot believe you guys didn't just rework the traits you made 300 seconds. That means it MIGHT proc two times during a match....
  18. Can you make Retaliatory Subconscious a stunbreak? It's the Guardian Virtues trait. Retaliatory Subconscious: Increased cooldown from 30 seconds to 60 seconds
  19. I've been thinking about how the damage nerfs will affect us. Not really worried about the nerfs to our sustain skills. True shot damage was nerfed by ~30%. It also had a CD increase. If we ran Big Game Hunter, all skills would do 20% more dmg to our target for 8 seconds. Unfortunately d. shot lost its damage component. We could potentially run Hunter's Fortification for extra condition hate. Smite Condition will remove 3 conditions. I feel like it will be hard to stack condis on DH. We have too many cleanses, especially if you run cleansing sigils on both weapon sets. IF I drop Hunter's Determination, I would probably go with Zealot's aggression. Hunter's Determination will be on roughly a 4 minute CD, which is crazy to me. We NEED stability from somewhere though. I highly doubt I will want to run Heavy Light post patch. We may need to run the new Retaliatory Subconscious just for aegis when CC'ed. The removed aegis will grant protection for 1 second because of the valor minor trait. IDK. Just thoughts
  20. I don't think you guys understand how DH works in PvP. Deflecting shot doing basically 0 damage kills part of the coordinated burst it takes to "kill" someone. I don't care if you lowered healing a little bit. Classes will outsustain it. Also, now true shot will be on a super long CD. What is DH supposed to do to kill someone? I'm already practicing Rev. You guys might want to rethink the approach to DH
