  1. From the Extra Life stream: a GW2 Toaster mini.http://i.imgur.com/awovOll.jpgAnd maybe it leaves little GW2 scorch prints behind it or something like that.
  2. Removing the soulbound aspect of non-crafted Guild Weapons. Only made the mistake once myself but saw a couple more threads show up on reddit. Removing the soulbound aspect of all 24 and 28 slot bags/boxes/packs. I'd make more of them if I could put them on any character, slowly and surely instead of just ignoring them until I have the megabucks to buy the necessary runes to make a 32 slot bag straight away to avoid the soulbound aspect. Doubly annoying for the Olmakhan Bandolier which has an accountbound Masterwork 20 slot and Ascended 32 slot but the rare 24 and exotic 28 both have the soulbound on use aspect. WvW could also do with upgrade recipes for WvW satchels and maybe the Halloween ones too. For next Halloween; a Greatest Gift of Candy Corn which turns the home node into a Rich Candy Corn Vein giving 10 hits as final upgrade to it. And a similar upgrade or upgrade system for the quartz node to turn it into a rich node to give it 6-10 hits per harvest.
  3. Luck can be used to buy Lucky Red Lanterns all year round now. Lovely QoL addition added a while back.
  4. If you sell Mount Packs; I'm sure they'd sell better if there was also a corresponding outfit. I noticed that the Exo-Suit Mount Pack went down to 1200gem on the last sale and we have 2 Exo-Suits, 1 Dynamics and 1 Inquest MKII, which I surmise made the pack more appealing as it completes a theme, more people bought it and it went on a bigger discount for everyone else from now on (at least I hope that's the case). So the Mad Realms Mount Pack could do with a themed outfit to complete the ensemble. I'm players would love to run around wearing a ethereal outfit in the same style as this pack. Also for future themes; Dwayna/Lyssa/Bath/restofthe6or7 since some of them have outfits already: Godly Mount Packs. Mounts wearing armours styled in the various gods of Tyria ... and Abbadon, I guess :p Also; Charr Mechs Mounts and Sylvari Plantbeast Mounts (we have Fern Hounds, why not 'Fern Raptor/Springer/Skimmer/Jackal/Griffon'?).
  5. Pipe dream: stackable weapons. One way to reduce inventory bloat would be allow for weapons, armour, trinkets to stack up when they are the same item. Once runes are introduced then you might get the same problem but for basic and fine weapons it would reduce bloating in the early game.
  6. Oh yes, I'm offloading mine to others so they don't waste time with wishes. Otherwise I'll be loading on my keyrunner when they get remade (as a workaround to deleting). OR changing the rairty and being able to forge them (they are seriously not exotic at this point). Another addition to this previous suggestion; adding a hallmark to the level of map enrichments for LW3 & 4 so at-a-glnce you can see what level you have.
  7. Would it be possible to add XP and Karma enrichments to the LW3 zones? Or at least refine the old systems to match the dual-XP-Karma boosts that come with each LW4 map so far.
  8. If that's true then that's poor story delivery. You have a character ordering you to RUN NOW and then you're supposed to stop? Definite pacing issue. Not to mention the story thing in the top right hand corner is telling you to escape the Mists and an achievement counting down the time to escape. It's one of the reasons I switched to the gryphon, slow enough on land and completely negated the jumping puzzle. I think my frustration was because of training. HoT and PoF had events where if you were too slow, you failed (escaping with the egg, catching the devourer). To have another race against time that auto kills you because you moved too fast for the narration and the instance definitely needs its pacing checked. I would have had the achievement if it wasn't for being killed because I was following Glint's glowy ball too closely. Seems it's a bug after all
  9. Well, the other items would really need to be made into a totally different item with the same effects, like the potions. It's totally doable! No idea why they are soulbound either. Not like that couldn't change anyway.Same reason we have a million Queen Jennas. Legacy system. Although it would be nice to have a soulbound novelties tab for things like that.
  10. If that's true then that's poor story delivery. You have a character ordering you to RUN NOW and then you're supposed to stop? Definite pacing issue.
  11. The Black Lion Aethestician - could we have an option for Hair Style Kits? At the moment they only provide all options for use of a Total Makeover Kit ( body, face, eyes and hairstyle) while it would a good QoL improvement to have only the options that a hair style kit provides as well (hairstyle, colour and accessory colour only).
  12. If someone has the (Light) T3 human cultural pieces and the Flamekissed armour: give them a bonus skin I mean the work is done, I would hope/surmise the assests have been saved but it would nice to have this as a special unlock rather than hide it away never to be seen again. Maybe visiting the tailor in any city and asking with a little flavour text depending on your race (since it was a gemstore skin that could be worn by any race). Human light get a "special order", human non-light get "give it to someone who can wear it", non-human get "if anyone asks; you didn't get it from me"
  13. Update the Living World Node icons Bit of inconsistency in how they appear in the world and the Home nodes. Winterberries, Jade Shards, Fire Orchids, Orrian Oysters, Difluorite and the Kournan Cache have unique icons on their respective maps, Bloodstone and Petrified Wood still don't. The SAB bauble node has a unique icon too. Bloodstone Fen just appears as regular mining node in both Home and OpenworldPetrified Wood is a regular wood node in bothOrrian Oyster is a regular vegenode in the home instanceBrandstone is another mining node at Home since it only spawns via a map eventIdeally I'd like to see: A red node for BloodstoneA purple-tinted wood node for Petrified WoodOrrian Oyster's openworld icon in the Home instanceBrandstone to get a brandstone purple mining nodeI'd also like to see the node icons replace the green {list} arrows on the Portal Tomes so when the tome appears behind the default inventory placement you can still see 'where' you are going. Some previous discussion on this one There wasn't much but it seems organising the tabs would be a welcome addition like so: Although since the raids are limited to type we could cut one tab down and place them inside each expansion tab. Festivals (Snow Piles, Snow Mound, Super Cloud, Zephyr Lantern, Pumpkins and 4 luck rarities of Red Lantern)Instanced Content (fractals, dungeons)Vanilla Tyria (world bosses, etc)Heart of Thorns (HoT exclusives, HoT raids & LS3)Path of Fire (PoF raids & LS4)And as pointed out this would mean a new tab could be added once the next expansion is released AND keep expansion-specific items apart from those that don't have the required ex-pack.
  14. Maybe this can be the next 'Linsey'-type side project; changing some soulbound items to accountbound.
  15. Well since my earlier comment was removed; this is it. It's one of those discussions that will nip at the heels of Anet every time it comes up. Like Guild Weapons being Soulbound on Acquire. How many support tickets have/will be needlessly created to resolve these when a small (not neccesarily easy) change could be made that could encourage more players to work on these bags long-term for ALL characters and not just their crafters?
  16. QUESTION: Will Alliances be able to pool resources or will it still be guild-based?Say 1 guild has been PvE and another has been WvW or 1 is still building scribing upgrades to get WvW consumables; would the Alliance be able to claim camps/towers/keeps and use the WvW consumables from all member guilds or would it still be defaulted to guild only So the refined question would be 'Can Alliances pool WvW resources?' As for Roleplayers; if Alliances means we can visit others' guild halls without needing an escort; you will have utterly sold us on Alliances, WvW or not.
  17. As I said on a reddit thread; I wonder how many support tickets have been made for this exact reason, clogging up the system from people making this 'mistake'? Surely it would be better to either: Make them all accountbound to keep them usable whatever happens.Allow us to use SOULBOUND items in crafting (which also solves the guild weapons issue of buying the base weapons on the wrong alt)
  18. Something to note: Argos used to sell action figures randomly back in the days of the first line of TMNT figures. Used to shop at Woolworths instead to get the ones me and my brother wanted where they were all out on the shelf to see. Even as an 8 year old I thought it was a stupid business model because I wanted one and not a chance at one. Later they started selling figures like that individually. Difference here is I can't shop for mounts in Wildstar to use them here.
  19. As it is; it's either a 400 gem raffle ticket OR 2000 for a specific skin and they're mutually exclusive (or maybe further seasonal packs at a "discount" of 1600). It's not like we can roll for Warhound with the adoption licences or buy the specific Raptor/Springer/Skimmer/Jackal/Griffon from the pack. Warhound is 2000, everything else is 9600 if you buy-it-all or a 400 for one chance. The RNG aspect to the tickets doesn't lend itself to finding out which skin works; only that Anet is maximising profit by co-ercing people into buying more for the skin they actually want. You may get it on the 1st roll or the 30th. Completionists won't care as it's inevitable, skinnies will enjoy whatever they get but those who only want one or two or a set of specific mount skins and the rest are going to feel ripped-off or just won't bother because they don't want to waste gems on skins they will begrudgingly use 'because they got them'. It's a RAFFLE which is still gambling but you have all the tickets and will get everything EVENTUALLY. Getting what you want is still subject to RNG. Again, you may get what you want in the first OR they may be the last few in the pack to unlock. It's also very rare they change the method of obtaining via the gemstore. Minis have ironically shifted to a direct purchase method which is what I'd hope happens here. I think it's that there is very little variation between most of the skins compared to the base mount skins. The other would be the slightly incongruous use of the word 'guaranteed' with an RNG-based method of obtaining them. See above: 1st or 30th you may get what you want. That's 12,000 gems potentially because not everyone has 9600 to dump on a 30-pack saving. It's barely 7 weeks ago that Pathfire was released, we had the Halloween Mounts pack only 3 weeks ago. I was hoping that the tiger would be released (some might be wanting the spider) but now I'm not so hopeful; that it will end up in this license pack as the rosta expands like it did with the Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock. As it stands; this doesn't make me want to buy any of them ever. I didn't buy the Halloween bundle because I thought it was too seasonal and too soon after Pathfire for a new set of skins and this method just doesn't inspire me either.
  20. I found the intitial, pre-change, fight to be extremely tedious rather than difficult. I got into a good rhythm of chipping his health down and keeping my distance to avoid his super-cheaty AoE vampiric-health-restore as much as I could till one slip up got me at 0 range and he gobbled up to a full-heal. It drained my enthusiasm for the fight and I just died, restored to a checkpoint and then logged out for the night. The thought of trying again was just 'urgh' and it took any excitment I had left and flushed it away. Next night I decided to use more of the environment to setup a kind of and it worked better than that; he got stuck on a piece of scenery and I just left longbow-dragonhunter 1 on auto till it whittled him down to 5% when he realised why I wasn't getting any nearer, dislodged himself and I unloaded a scepter-torch burst to take him out.Thing is; I don't recall any encounter with this vampiric heal PBAoE move anywhere else. Shockwaves, distance-leeching maybe but never a pull move that also drains health in greater amounts the closer you get. Compared to a point in the final fight and a technique from the LW3 shows up and I instantly knew what to do because it was already taught like a comeback move in a movie when an early moment turns out to be incredibly useful near the end of the story. It felt good like Chekov running down a corridor "I know this!" good. I'm glad it's been changed; no amount of build changes would help a mesmer and an encounter like this should never nullify a professions main skill.
  21. They can BUT, and here's the kicker, we still can't use soulbound 'ingredients' unless the crafter bought them (see also basic guild weapons).
  22. 24 and 28 slot bags could do with their soulbound element being removed. I wonder how many people will bind one to an alt and then realise they can't use it as a crafting material when they come to upgrade it (and thus files tickets to support to replace them). It would be nice if we could upgrade the starter pack too. Love the expanse and locations. Feels more liveable and lots more places to RP. It feels less of a pressure-cooker environment than HoT in the starting zones and ramps up steadily. Universal currency covering all maps, great. Trophies with flavourtext and clearly marked as sellable where needed, excellent. Flow of mastery points is more fluid than HoT.
