I came back after 18 months away to finish the saga and I'm just so ambivalent about it. I am certainly not staying to grind those lazy DRM missions and from what I see, there was one new fractal so what really si there to come back for? Anet either doesn't have the budget or manpower to really make this game shine and if it hasn't happened by now, I don't see it happening in the future. EoD will be the first exp I will not buy on day one. I will wait to see community feedback and reviews before I decide to perma come back. They need to offer something new in the expansion and by new I don't just mean elite specs etc, but new mechanics and event styles. How many more Escort style events will they do? How many more collect trash to build something will they do? It's the same stuff all the time. The gameplay itself has become super stale.

I mean it was "free", but imo it was Lazy , rushed and frankly absurd. ANd for the Love of God stop making widely HATED characters like Braham the focus of the story. You already did this with Trahearne and it was widely despised then too. We DO NOT care!. I was actually annoyed he survived the encounter. Now we will have to no doubt tolerate him and the insufferable Taimi going into EOD. Every STEP of the way the Commander, actually US feels like the side kick. It's bizarre. I did find it amusing how Rox, Canach and other long story dead characters came back from the writing grave in such token appearances. At this stage I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to resurrect Trahearne.

I've honestly never understood these requests for housing - ever. We already have a ton of personal instances that are never used. We have the home instance which for all intents and purposes IS housing. People only use that to mine nodes. We have Guild halls...which are used for? Er what? Assembling as a guild before doing 6 year old guild missions? We have other personal instances like the one in Jahai Bluffs, Sun's Refuge. How many more obselete instances would you like? I mean yeah , lets kick raids, Fractals and all the other dead stuff even further into their graves for housing. Such a wise use of resources LOL

This would really be an awesome use of resources 10 years into the games lifespan! Yep, let's tinker with world bosses instead of doing new raids, fractals or fixing the mess that is DRM. I really hope they spend time doing this op! Once they've finished revising all the decade old WB's, I pray they go to Caudecus Manor and make the bosses in there have new mechanics. It would really freshen things up!!! Yay!

No fractals on the horizon

People need to understand that Mounts were introduced for two reasons only. One was a selling point/point of difference for the expansion, the other was that they will form the core part of a huge cash grab at the gemstore. We will be inundated with gemstore only mounts that will be part of the gw2 business model. Thus they aren't going anywhere, let alone be removed.

PROS: Improved story telling, gorgeous maps, mounts are on the whole handled well. CONS: While improved, still enormous plot holes. No mention of Rox, braham, Destinys edge. No Metas is a huge mistep, threadbare and mundane events, fps drops with too many mounts, huge areas with NOTHING in them, Sparse content compared with HOT, Dull and Grindy Heart Quests, ridiculous power creep with new Elites. The expansion feels unfinished imo. 6/10

I can't even remember this boss. I did all of the living story on condi ranger and I swear, I don't even remember it!
