So why is the topic saying "YES you CAN link your ANET account to Steam. And it's really easy.", when this is impossible to do. Quite confusing.

Please let me know how an heavy armour character can get full access to style changes. I really would love that, but 2/3 of all armours are locked for me. Where is the promised feature of the Topic starter? WHEN CAN I GET THIS?

When i choose the guild I can choose different teams under it.

On my second account I didn't use a guild before the betatest and I am unable to join WvW via the B key. (All maps have the lock symbol.) Even choosing one guild didn't change it. It seems that the guild has players on different servers and I would need to choose a server to join WvW - or I just join WvW via the gate in Lions Arch.

I can be finished now. Just capture/defend 5 things. It wont show you the progress, but once you did it is complete and give you a skin.

I did change maps. Now the achievement is 100% and 1/1.

There was an update. I did download it and log in and got the war machine chest right away. But the Achievement is still 0/1.

I think you did answer your own question, didn't you? No matter how many captures and defences you do, it wont progress.

Competitive -> World vs World -> WvW World Restructuring Beta Veteran - 0/1

There seems to be some lucky players that did advance this achievement without any problems. Quite strange. At least here (15 captures + 5 defences) it didn't bring any results.

I could toss gen 1 and gen 3 exotics into the forge. Didn't bring any good result.

Even that information would be enough to plan ahead and prepare. However we are not even getting that.

I want to take the moment to say goodbye to Dragon's Bite (174 gold), The Lover (79 gold), Spark (265 gold) and Rage (24 gold) that I used to keep in the bank, until I have enough gold to forge the legendary. I used to toss 4 random exotic weapons on my bag into the mystic forge and sell anything that is over 5 gold. Surprisingly, when I toss every exotic that I could find on my character into the mystic forge, those where under them. And surprising they didn't yield and result that is over 550 gold.

Yeah, as a start it would be great if we could play with our guild on the same server, when we did choose our guild. Sadly the function isn't there yet.

Not yet. We are hoping for Halloween or Wintersday to change this.

We do not know what is causing the problem. It could be something simple as a pointer on the server that needs to be set. Since we have things like the Holidays (e.g. Halloween) getting started and ended automatically without a the need to download a patch (because it is all setup with a patch before and just a pointer needs to be reset) it could be something simple and since they did give us the exact ETA when this bug will be fixed, you just need to spend the next 168 hours in the WVW and you MAY be able to unlock the achievement. Unless it will be unlocked when you enter the WVW, than spending 168 hours straight in the WVW may be not even enough. Don't you all love it, when we have such challenging achievements for something as great at one or more skins?

Oh, that sounds like a fun concept. If my guild wants to play together in this beta, they would have transfered the members that are not on the right server before and play together, so that they can play on the beta together. Is this how the alliances will work later as well? You can only have people on your server in the alliance? Someone please explain me why alliances so much different than the situation that we have at the moment already.

On twitter they are talking about skins. So that means more than one skin. And it is implying that you can unlock all the skins. Once someone did spend 72 hours nonstop in the WvW we will know how many skins can be unlocked.

I wasn't aware that there is a whole server out there, that is unable to read a message in twitter. I assume that this isn't so hard. But as requested, here is the message that yesterday we could unlock skins. Remember that is plural.

Because the first step of the achievement is something that is too hard for me to do. I really can't be 72 hours none stop in WvW. Sorry, but that is too much for me.

Does no one read their twitter page? Literality all information about WvW is distributed only there. You could get skins yesterday. Of course today only one skin.
