  1. It isn't a large leap from having a skill that has no CC versus having CC on a split and the CC being different on a split.
  2. LB4 on Warrior has a daze in PvE but not PvP/WvW, so they do those kind of splits.
  3. I agree on Conjures. And yes, that is a problem for the eles themselves to discuss in more detail.
  4. You can find videos of in game matches of these jumps being done. Not exactly common knowledge though, and even knowing it I don't even think about it during a fight.
  5. I encourage you to entertain the thought that perhaps the lack of a solid defense/sustain set like staff may have been the gatekeeper keeping players from plat that otherwise, on a different class probably would have made it to plat easily.
  6. I did suggest them still having a cast time, so they could be interrupted. So, there is still a difference versus true kits. Not for Conjures. Conjures drop another weapon into the world. Do conjures need their duration vs CD adjusted? Sure. Again, the Lich would still have that cast time. Personally, I feel that the elite transforms just don't last long enough for their CDs. Out of them, Rampage at least feels like it should function more like a kit proper, but with all the passives removed. It would probably need the CDs increased by 5-10s on each skill.
  7. It's not a bug. It's one of those skills that CMC forgot in his great Feb2020 damage nerf side quest. Flurry also did not get its damage nerfed then either. You can find skills like that on every class. What they should have done back then is put a cap on how much added damage you could stack with traits. That would have reduced damage across the board as they wanted without leaving loopholes behind.
  8. Same with Shield Bash FWIW.
  9. *Throws hands into the air* And here is why you see me advocating for things like an evade on cyclone axe, savage leap, earthshaker, and the like. That and honestly at this point a core F2, that is not a burst, that gives adrenaline on use, and procs several of our current traits and some new ones specifically for it should be added in. Berserker, Spellbreaker, and BSW can have their traits worked to include interactions with that F2 slot directly.
  10. That's fair. The CDs on the skills would probably need to be adjusted, but loss of the stat boosts and pulsing boons would remove a lot of their power, so I'd suspect that their power levels as kits otherwise would not be too far off the mark.
  11. I will direct you to a portion of my statement where I state that you don't even need to upkeep it 100% of the time, just for when it matters. Even then ranger still is tied with the most protection access. Ranger also has a great deal of evades that they can build into their bar. Condi cleansing is definitely a weak spot, though. It's as if Anet wants them to have good damage mitigation versus strike damage but not against conditions.
  12. Homeboy just wanted a nap in the magma without getting nagged.
  13. Its hard to focus on battle when your weapon is unleashing load sonar pings on four of the skills needed to do it's job. Quaggans were beaching themselves to get away from it. The Karka were planning on attacking LA again over it. The deep sea monster that Soo-Won was holding back was plotting revenge on all of Tyria because those sonar pings were so loud and frequent.
  14. Some examples that get passed around in Warrior land for a F2 are: Bursts for the offhand weapon and a second burst for twohanders, specifically to fill in gaps in gameplay A general skill that grants adrenaline on a CD but does not count as a burst. Things like Soldier's Comfort, Martial Cadence, and the like could be changed to only key off of that F2 then. Being the F1 of your other weapon set, where using it switches you to that weapon set, causing the F2 to become the F1 of the set you just left. You are right in that there is so much that could be done there, but we heavily suspect that Anet wants it to remain as simple as possible. But that puts too much onto hitting with F1s to activate traits which leads to the F1s and traits being bloated to compensate.
  15. It comes up often, though there is no real agreement on what that F2 should be, just that one is needed.
  16. That is fair to consider. Mostly for others who may not know, you are correct. There are some things that should be common to classes. One thing that is common is that their Profession Mechanics all have a CD reduction in their Profession Mechanic themed traitline. I'm just saying that this interaction with signets should be common to all the signet mastery type traits, along with whatever flavor is fitting for the profession in question. Well, Guardian certainly didn't, and Mechanist was shipped with it I believe 🤔
