I get you, and also should 100% of the playerbase, since it's kind of obvious that everyone would like to always have a perfect run, and by perfect I mean stuff you described, for some perfect run will be one with struggles but also with ability to let new ppls learn, for others it will be run made as fast as possible, sometimes you will have desite for this, other day for that, and for another day something entirely diffrent. But we are all just peoples and we may have diffrent desires that often collide with each other, so perfect setup for learning, testing, meta run ect. can eighter take 1sec or 15mins depending on what ppls want at that moment. The same goes for expirience, some may think that waiting this 15mins for full meta will safe time, thats fine, even if wrong, you can eighter talk to them and try to change his mind or there is always this awesome, beautiful thing, called "moving on" (Tis what I would do at least). Life is chaos, everyone wants perfect life in their own way, but most of us will never get it, same goes for GW2 runs, sometimes you will save your 15 mins, sometimes even 20 and sometimes none. As for discrimination, but real discrimination coz I don't really think joining a full meta run that expect you to play pale pigeons build, even if they are wrong, can be count as discrimination. For example I joined twice runs called like CM's + T4 x kp, DPS/Heal/Alac (it was after 2 months Observatory fractal release) and i was kicked only becouse i was a thief. And i had all kp's they required earned by this thief. If they placed note in LFG like "No thieves" than ok, but no instead they got thieves inside their groups and started insulting them, coz everyone should know that thief is not perfect on one boss inside this 3-boss fractal. Did I came to rant on forum becouse of it? Yes, and got a great advice, Screen/Report/Block/Move on/Have fun.

Actually it is very accurate since I play thief exclusivly and considered myself a great player, until one day, a thief with short bow and staff (dunno if it was some other build or he did his rota perfectly), He totally outclassed me and our group in terms of dps, and he didn't even had fractal god like all the others, except me. Why are you wasting your time joining "stupid" ppls than. You deserve better, so eighter make LFG of normal players like you or if you have to for some reason join "hurr durr White Birds build meta 10/10 only" than make them a day and take this second set of daggers, or staff or pistol or whatever, they are not bad builds, and even if as you say you will do it few seconds slower you will still make it, you won't be kicked, you won't have to look for another group, you won't get stressed out and everyone's gonna gonna live happyly ever after.

Agree with tweaking builds and such coz I do it myself. Also in my whole GW2 career, no one ever was kicked from run for not doing this 2% dps. (you got kicked only if alac is doing more dps than you, at least in my runs). You nailed the diffrence yourself, if someone is on scale 1-5 and joins ppls that require 9-10 than obviously he gonna get kicked, and this ppls have a full right to do it since he's not doing what the group required. Also I am fully aware of groups that require everyone to be always at the 10. As much as I avoid this kind of groups, I'am also aware that they have a right to play as they want, and nighter me nor you nor anyone else have right to force them to play other way, nor spiting them on the forum, only becouse they kicked you. It may not be worth busting balls for you, for them it maybe is, even if as you say, it often work worse than tweaked builds, but it's their LFG and their balls so they have a right to do so, just as much as you have right to create your own LFG with any requirements (or none of them) you imagine.

Could you elaborate further on this bounty run of yours? Was it some easy daily boss that everyone can solo or was it squad for some legendary for collection. If it was the latter than i totally understand why squad would encourage meta build. Thay want to have the highest chance of success while reducing as much as possible players that only would upscale event. If it was some easy boss than it sure is wierd, but why you care it's not like they can kick you from open map in any of this two scenarios, and even better you can always block them if they are being mean and not just nice enough to give gaming advice. As for the guy you quoted, if I join someones group I play by their rules, if i don't like the rules, I do not join and I am eighter looking for other more suitable group or I create my own. It's like society works, it's not a flaw, you don't have to fit everywhere and no one expext you to. As you said you want to play whatever you want, rightfully so, but don't expect you will fit everywhere with the shape you cut yourself into.

Hope Guild Wars 2 start focusing on Raids more as I really enjoy this content. (Fractals are less interesting and sadle a good bunch of them is soloable too and this is online game) Love Guild Wars 2 but only as group play in pve or solo roamer in wvw.

Yes, they are sooo hard that instead of creating your own party, you gonna post someones lfg and whine on forum. As Mythical said, you are free to create your own just as they have right to create their reqs. I would actually rather join them than join no kp run that will get me stuck on Thaumanova ooze or somewhere else. Live and let live.

I am totally with you there. Started raiding few months ago, put mine time and effort to be able to do full clears, and since some other players seem to like good analogy than I'll throw in mine. It kinda feels like when you are in a job for many years, got nice salary and even salary raise few times, you put 100% effort in your work, and then your boss hire a totally new guy, without experience and gives him the same salary you have now after working hard for many years. I have written in other posts that I am against any kp's and achivs for Emboldend runs, but heck this since it probably won't happen, but as you said it would be really nice something that would distinguish you from this other players. As opposed to other players that say they don't care about other players stuff, I am. It's always nice to see good ol fashion wars I can take inspiration from, or full lege players with nice titles that tells you "OMG this guy is so pro, I want to play like him, and get his stuff one day. He surely had fun time getting there and I can't wait to get there myself". But, ppls are lazy this days, they want everything without any effort with the best argument ever "It's not your buisness what other players have". It is true, coz it is not my buisness if for example someone earns my year salary in a matter of days for doing 5min video for YouTube, but it is kinda saddening, but world is not a just place, so one would think that at least in fantasy world there would be some degree of justice. And before first confused face will spawn, I am all about encouraging more players into raiding. These are just not the methods to do so in my opinion. I am more about making easy mode for them without kp's and achivs, pure mechanic and minimal damage from boss, but it's not popular opinion as far as I know. I say lat ANet throw resources on it for some times if it means more new raids in the future and more raiders to play with, just let this new raiders learn, don't give them free stuff.

I agree with you, but under one condition. What do you think a reward should be for clearing a wing with this upcomming buff? Becouse in my opinion there should be no Killproof for such kill, significantly lesser rewards (not like they are amazing in normal run), and no ability to finish any achivment except ones that can be done in already cleared wing. I think if ANet won't restrict it that way than maybe only few players will use it in intended way, when most will just take easy kill and won't bother to invest time into normal encounters. But these are just my thoughts, guess we shall see what it will look in reality soon enough.

And also they don't seem to notice that even if they give alac/quick/heal roles to some other classes, their "golden cub" aka Guardian will always be picked (same thing with HAM) over other classes since they can actually fill two roles in one build, Heal-Quick, Heal-Alac. And Thief not only is getting nothing, but also he's getting no change to alac, so we will fall even lower than all this other classes.

Agree, but i would also take out chest you get for first boss kill (since it's technicly not a normal kill), and block all the achivments that are required for legendaries. (Expect ones that can be done in cleared instances anyways)

I really like to have more ppls play raids, becouse since i started raiding few months ago it become one of my favourite content, and i would really like to see more resources put into it, but also i cannot help but feel that this change is a start to castrating raids for the sake of inclusivness. I really hope that this "easy mode" wings won't reward kp's. As I said i started to raid 3 months ago, with no guild, only pugs. Got build from SC --> practised it on fractals and daily stuff, --> perfected it on fractals CM's -->, watches quick guide on yt for certain wing, --> joined training run, --> joined "know mech"/semi training run, --> join "some kp" run --> join 10kp run ect. After 1 month I was able to do full clears, CM's included. I know that some ppls may find it more difficult and need more help, but i don't think that this change is the answer. Maybe some real easy mode with all mechanics to learn but not so much punishment for failing them and no or very little spare change as reward. Don't know what to think of this change but I am worrying. Raids are not so hard to begin with compared to other games, I don't want them to become like dungeons.

Hey, I just had a discussion with my friend about change to Ancient Summoning Stones. (A-Net gonna add one to every EoD Strike CM each week).My friend lis really fond of this idea becouse "Legendaries will be cheaper". I don't like it for exacly same reason, "Legendaries will be cheaper". Leges supposed to be pricy end game goal, and not to be crafted in a matter of days. I know i am overexaggerating a bit there but I wanted to make a point or example and I am kinda bad at economy. Thats why I wrote this post, so here's a question to you guys, do you think it was a good move or not so much, and is there something to worry about, I know i started to worry since MC cost drop so much.

When i was reading this post about professions, I couldn't help it but I feel like i was reading something like that. All Professions: You can alac, quick or heal now ! Teef: Soo... whatever, we did some stuff to Shadow Arts I guess, some boons or whatever, get some stealth and defense soo likeee kittykitten off now... kay thanks. (In game with PvE that is all about doing DPS, DPS+Boon or Heal and obviously Thief can't heal) They could at least make some changes to our alac so it don't fall short when compared to other alac givers, but no let's add even more alac givers that will do alac 100% better and with no effort at all. (guess it will be something like that).

Hey forum and a-net, so i thought, since all dungeons have the same currency now, maybe it would be good idea to add Fw/Up or Fyonna path back, once deleted to make place for Aetherblate path. It is a ready content that most playerbase weren't able to play so maybe it would give some players something to do. I know it's just dungeon, and most players couldn't care less about them but it's also not like there will be a need to put much resources to bring it back eighter since it's already done. I liked this dungeon and I want GW2 to be as big as possible, but what are your thoughts?

I can hardly see how guild ads, even if it's a raid guild belong to raid LFG since there is whole tab dedicated only to guild ads, so sorry but I can't take that argument seriously, eighter you want to have something organised or you are not.
