Micro Freezes / Stuttering on Ranger Shortbow

Hey fellas, I am curious if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem.
As follows:

For more than a week I have quite some issues whenever I am using Shortbow on Ranger in combat. Occasionally, roughly every 10-15 seconds, my entire Game freezes or stutters for a noticeable split second, before running perfectly smooth again.
To me this happens only when playing Ranger with Shortbow and in combat, whether it's open world, PvP or just some quick Sunqua CM. I can play the class perfectly fine with every single  weapon set that isn't shortbow. I also have no issues when playing other classes like Weaver, Mirage, Chrono, eca. Just when playing Ranger Shortbow I consistently have this issue.

Has anyone of you guys experienced something similar?

This isn't a shortbow problem. the game has been lag spiking a lot for the past week.

By some chance, did you use skill 2 shortly before it freezes?

I have been stuttering the same as well. I am not sure if it is netlag or a problem with DX11? 

I almost have micro stuttering on movement as well while getting over 60fps .

From what I can tell specifically it is the poison shot on the short bow that causes the frame spike. It has always been that way and I hope they fix it at some point because it it actually quite jarring especially when the short bow is such fun to play.

Same here, i play mainly WvW.  Started last Monday, the 13th.  Far worse NA EST times 8am to 5 pm.  After 8pm EST the problem seems to fade away, only to return the next morning.

 

The same issue also occurs with forums, release notes, and wiki pages, when the game is loaded and running (or trying to)

I'm on Comcast from South Florida.

Not only for shortbow users, also in general stuttering since 2 weeks... tried literally everything....

Stuttering/micro-lag ... game's performance is a lot worse since the recent update for me. 
I had no troubles before and it ran very smoothly with stable 70-90 fps; it still keeps fps but stutters tend to kick in.
