What do you think is next in store for the future story of Guild Wars 2 after End of Dragons?

Next in line can be anything:

- "Common" racial divergence: Inquest, Fire legion, Religious/political fanatics and other thing like that.

- Territorial wars: Centaur, Kraith... etc.

- Monsters within the depth of tyria that we realise the elder dragons were suppressing. (for example: Kanaxai but stronger)

- Monsters from outside that the elder dragons were keeping in check (The gods or other...). Which can lead to a new race coming

- New villains rising from each races (Something like scarlet briar)

- ... Etc.

It's a fantasy world, anything can happen.

I think we may see the Krait more with the ED of the Deep, since he displaced them toward the coasts, if the ED die in the Expansion story maybe we will see their original places with the LS following it. Maybe with the Oratus trying to fight for power (possibly with a reward track like Drizzel Coast: Toxic, Slaver, Naga, Quaggan, Largos...)

From the mundane point of view, I'd like a cold war developing between Tyria, Elona and a Cantha. Perhaps they could bring protagonism to guilds and/or companies, to fight over the scraps of dragon magic, lost artefacts, or to explore and/or colonize the world now that the dragons are gone.

Are you suggesting a “Guild War”?

I don't see it happening, at least not as a in the PvE world, though maybe in a particular map or in the mist. But it being some sort of alliance where you can join a small faction to fight against the other.

  • Canthayan Imperialist
  • Luxon Separatist
  • Kurzick Separatist
  • Naga
  • Warden
  • Tengu

Being in a faction would give diminishing resources (promoting changing factions every so often) + going into a smaller faction award quicker rewards (to distribute the population)

Each faction could give a different reward track, like in Drizzelcoast and pit smaller groups of player who are acting as mercenaries to their faction, pushing the narrative of the battlefield by accomplishing quests to strengthen their factions
