Super simple request : Move Crashdown/Recall Mech to F5

Engineers Elite toolbelt skill is on F5

Scrapper Function Gyro is on F5

Holosmith Photon Forge is on F5

But Mechanists get their big specialisation button on F4. This sticks out when using Depth Charges too

 

For the sake a consistency and for easy of access please can this be moved to Profession Skill 5.

 

It's not even like we can remap this ourselves without having to remap every time we change specialisation.

That'd kinda overlap with shift signet, which already teleports you and the mech, but I'd be all for having an extra ability from it as an F4.  We're already losing all toolkit skills, and lose our traits to be able to pick F1/F2/F3 skills, the mech should have something else available to fill that last slot.

I still would love to be able to merge with the mech and use it either as a suit or ride around on its shoulders like taimi (could be race dependent on which is used).

Or have that as f1 and f2-f4 your mech skills, to be consistent with pretty much every other class mechanic. I don't want to find a new button to bind for f6 or f7...

i see what your saying but given how stupid the ai can be sometimes and how large a part our mech plays in the build having a skill  that moves our mech around some of the terrain is necessary, it dosent have top be instant and could probably have a decent cool down, when ya unsummon it ya know how it packs in its arms and legs and fly's off takes around a second or two well that animation with the landing animation on top of that no damage no buffs or debuffs just straight more modular mobility so not quite like shift signet but at least something to help us overcome some of the terrain issues since our mech plays such a large part in the spec

I was actually hoping for this before they announced it. Like a reverse Soulbeast.

Doesn't have to be physically climb in but just have you sort of magically merge into your mech and take direct control.
Maybe give the mech a little defence and vitality stat boost to make up for engineer not being there anymore and make it the tanky option.

And either let you still use your normal attacks/kits or just give you one pre-set mech-kit for 1-5.

 

Even better if they add submarine mode bot underwater and you could merge in with that too for extra roll play (and just not being useless underwater)
