End of Dragons Specialised collections - is this an error?

End of Dragons introduced Specialised weapon collections for all classes. They follow a similar pattern to previous expansions, i.e. collecting items, taking part in events etc.,

Two items in every collection are obtained by taking part and being successful in two Meta events.

This is the list of the Metas that each class has to do.

Warrior - Kaineng + Echovald
Revenant - Echovald + Dragon's End
Thief - Seitung + Kaineng
Ranger - Seitung + Echovald
Guardian - Seitung + Kaineng
Elementalist - Seitung+ Kaineng
Engineer - Kaineng + Echovald
Necromancer - Kaineng + Echovald
Mesmer - Seitung + Dragon's End

It is fairly obvious that Revenants and Mesmers are at a big disadvantage here.

It appears to me that there "should" be three groups, lets call them A, B and C

Group A - Warrior, Engineer and Necromancer - have to do Kaineng and Echovald
Group B - Thief, Guardian and Elementalist - have to do Seitung and Kaineng
Group C - Ranger - has to do Seitung and Echovald (this group is missing two classes)

Using a bit of logic, Mesmer and Revenant really should be in Group C, having to do Seitung and Echovald.

Anet can you please take a look at this as it appears that Revenants and Mesmers are at a disadvantage doing these collections compared to other classes.

The same logic also suggests that ranger should have been with Mesmer and Rev. Actually, it’s more likely that ranger should have been with them. I’d just take this as a blessing that you only have to do that meta two times.

It would be much easier to express this as "I don't want to do Dragon's End."

You're allowed to feel that way, you don't have to dress it up with symmetry and logic.

Lol.

I've done Dragons end' successfully twice and tried to help out on at least 15-20 occassions now. Please don't make assumptions.

Not really. The difficulty of the DE meta is way above the other map's. I think it's a legitimate concern for equality, and an easy tweak to operate.

I have yet to get a successful completion in Dragon's End. It does seem odd to tie different meta's to these collections. Makes it feel like I should do each meta on a specific class to avoid tedious repeats. Of course, if they all required the same meta it would also be tedious repeats. I thinks the OP's suggestion is a good one. I'm sure I'll eventually complete the collections regardless.
