Please consider adding a category for: dragon response missions!!!  🙂

Living World: Icebrood Saga > Champions but probably many don't know that. They could rename it as Champions (Dragon Response Missions) so it's more prominent.

They should just be converted to strike missions, with a soloable version like other stories. DRMs are dead and they're not coming back due to community backlash to their design.

The last thing we need is more LFG categories that no one even checks.

What would converting them to strikes mean?

Do you think Anet should just scale them up to allow for 10 players and add prophet shards to the rewards? Or do you think they'd need to change the mechanics as well?

I imagine they'd just have to be a series of events at the start followed by a boss battle, and skipping the escorts. Forging Steel has the exact same format as DRMs (events, escort, boss), and hardly anyone ever does it. I know its much longer, but I think think the basic escort formula is the problem.

You also can't make the events take too long or you have another Cold War.

My friend and I want to complete some achievements that involve the dragon response missions, but it would be easier with 5 people, sooooo, where do I post it?  I can't post in strike missions, because I have to be in a squad, but then I can't go into the dragon response mission, because it says I have to be in a party.

DRMs are soloable already, even with CMs. Anet would have to rework them from the ground up for people to even consider doing them again. Just chucking the "Strike Mission" title and Strike rewards on them won't pull them out of the garbage bin.

Dragon Response Missions already scale to amount of players.

The main benefit of not going at them solo is in most cases:

- easier access to boons fromndedicated boon provider classes

- easier access to cc

- easier coverage of required mechanics

Still on a solid solo build and with sufficient player skill they can be soloed, even with all CMs active. Usually such builds will have to bring:

- adequate damage (most often via self boons)

- adequate cc

- decent movement skills to cover ground

Therefore, my suggestion is not bad, if it provides better clarity to others who don't know either.
