If someone has actually just left the game, the game is kittened anyhow and it won't make a difference.

If someone has disconnected or crash, it will potentially keep the game from being affected by it.

I wish there was a "safe to leave" like dota, 90 secs of afking/dc you can leave the game without dishonor

If you think about this for 30 seconds you should be able to find several ways forcing everyone to wait for someone who decides to leave is bad for the game.

This brings back memories of playing Call of Duty on the 360.
"Host migration" only takes a minute or two, but it takes just a few seconds to leave the match, and the 2 monster energy drinks I chugged before it started usually tell me to pick the latter.
