we had many requests regarding the game mode as a whole

duo q removed? nope

afk player ban? nope

while the second one  requires big resources like ppl commiting to check those reports are not misleading like, "this dude is wintrading" and dude is only bad at the game

the first one is literally changing a programing line

but some how back to back 119/1 records in 2020 didnt seem odd enough to make the change

even variations from conquest in miniseason, like solo q only, team q only. Core, hot, pof etc specs only. No downstate, a lot of things that would prolly please the players more than that horrid death match and would be easier to implement.

Good idea's, would spice things up and bring some variety(oddly enough by putting up limitations) to games.

Because it must be done. This is the only place where people have a voice, and unless you make that voice heard, things like your dumb soulbeast are going to be stupidly OP forever. Nobody wants that.

Because they wouldn't last in a game that doesn't cater to their specific demographic like Gw2's pvp does. Not through any specific action taken by Arenanet, but rather their constant inaction. PvP is not and hasn't been in the best spot for years and there's players willing to take advantage of that while blaming everything they do on the game's low population.

The clowns would not last a minute in a different competitive game where they cannot weaponize how it is balanced and/or queue in groups larger than one person against hard-working, honest, individual soloq players.

Facts BIG FACTS. Those of us who spent more time playing than we did on here - need to be a lot more vocal. The game direction is being changed under our noses. We need to do this to dampen the vocal minority of about 15 people who apparently spend all day on here campaigning against the class that rocked them. It has left this game mode completely devoid of progress. I am still mystified by Anets willingness to listen. The evidence that this has been a bad choice is apparent - the game mode has NOT GROWN listening to these posts. Its trended down the ENTIRE TIME. 

However - opposing these rhetoric based posts seems to be working. Scrapper remains viable and melee soul beast did not get blown into oblivion. Its a good start. However, we need to continue to oppose obvious trolls on here.

The best part is - half the people posting on here Ive never seen in a gold3/P1 lobby or higher. Never see them on the leaderboards - they're hard stuck in silver3/gold1 or below. Even worse is I know there are some people who regularly post on here that dont even Que anymore. Everyone's opinion is certainly valid - however if your unable to make your way to the higher lobbies it means generally you lack a fundamental understanding of the game; or you would be rated higher - and therefore game balance should not be done around your oppion. I wish the forums showed the rating of every person who posted.

Been playing other games and praying to the Almighty that this one finds its way. Idk about you but that balance-talk be boring the Hel out of me. 

Fair enough if something op and isn't fun to go against, but the only thing worse than some fotm build is two of them working together, coordinating, class-swapping against players without the luxury. There are just much bigger, more objectifiable advantages players have in this game that extend well-beyond the class they play as and how strong or weak it is perceived to be.
