Wurm Teleport cast to instant please

cast time

The teleport has zero cast time

Placing the wurm has a cast time, but is not a stun break. If you're placing your wurm in response to being disabled, you're doing it wrong.

They are two separate skills on a flip-skill. You place the wurm before you get into a fight, somewhere out of the way or behind your front-line. You can then use Necrotic traversal to instantly teleport up to 1,200 in the direction of the wurm.

sorry, but this is the one flipover skill that deserves counterplay if you're using it to ready the stunbreak. it is so obvious people can tell you want to use its stunbreak skill, so you need to position it before you start a fight.

why should summon flesh wurm be instant as well? necrotic traversal having no cast time is as good as you're gonna get, and it's frankly the reward for getting past summon flesh wurm's long cast time.

The game is in a state where all classes - including necro - have viable mobility options.

An instant cast wurm would catapult reaper and harbinger to thief like reset abilities in WvW. The game does not need more dumb skills like thief's shadowstep. It needs less.

Lmao "viable mobility"

I wouldn't call wurm/spec walk viable in the mobility options.   Every other class has way more mobility.

So think again

You do also have Warhorn and Sword 3 leaps, and can nowadays even get the speed relic.

Ah yeah. A boon that can get ripped off. And a expansion weapon with a leap, but sadly thats all it's good for and taking sword mainhand is just for that since everything else on it is very moot.

Relic speed, is a band-aid fix. The mobility of necro is a core problem, and is lack luster.

But even with those, necro nobility isn't viable at all.

MH sword also gives quite nice 5 target cleave and access to chill.

It is also possible trait Soul Reaping for Speed of Shadows, which can be fairly easily used to gain permanent swiftness, refresh-able every 10 seconds. Pairing that with Warhorn and Spectral walk gives one multiple sources of swiftness for the Relic of Speed to battle against boon rips.

If swiftness is not one's cup of tea, there is always the Signet of Locust too for 25% increased movement speed, or maybe even the new Relic of the Wayfinder.

Taking all those and you still come out on bottom via mobility vs other classses

Well, I dunno. How many thief stun breaks are insta-cast? How many other professions have a stun break that needs to be set up beforehand? And that setup takes 1 and 1/2 seconds?

Forgive me if I was wrong, but as I understood necro is susposed to be lower mobility wise though in design?

True. Anet did make up for our lack of mobility with blocks, reflects, and incredible power...oh...wait. No they didn't.
