  2. Could still be your connection, if it were a server thing, multiple people would be affected, that's not the case. By the way, you should look for the subject either on the forum or reddit, every time someone got frequent server disconnect, it ended up being a problem with their configuration or ISP.
  3. Actually, it's a bit reductive to consider the lenght as the only factor for the reduced popularity, there were multiples, actually. First : lenght, nothing to say here, a full w2 level was longer then a w1 level Second : difficulty, there were a lot more instant death, like falling or ninja dart trap, add to that the rapid yeeting you at lightning speed (so fall, so death), the geyser that were timed platform. And the level in general required way more skills than w1 (see the infamous gong tower for reference) Third : nerf, they actually nerfed buried chest to be once per day, before, you could farm bauble infinitly by doing like w1z1 on repeat and getting all the buried chest. So yeah, people wanted braindead farming level, they got actual decent level requiring skill, so they were mad...

  5. And the screen you posted about other games are supposed to be better? They are not. I didn't see what is supposed to be the bank in the third and fourth screen and the symbols on the first two are not better than the one we got. I guess those game are also low on the worldbuilding department, then....

  7. You do realize one can just take a screenshot of your character and post it on like reddit, which will result in both having your setup disclosed (with maybe a slight doubt on the exact dye) and having it shared to even more people? 🙂
  8. Doesn't changed what i said, I don't think you got them in a few months, probably more in a few years, so most people probably won't ever have more than a stack. I know, but that concern only a small fraction of the playerbase. And about crafting with it, that's really some specific special case where you're expected to take the active decision of hoarding, the main purpose of the item is consuming, not hoarding, by creating a slot, you'll change that main purpose to hoarding and lot of people who don't care about thing like legendary crafting would lost the occasion of consuming because it will end up in material storage and be forgotten. (And that's proven, not a baseless fact)

  10. Well, not really, except for thing like jumping puzzle or core world boss, most of WV can be done with profitable meta (either with the meta itself or by doing it, like jade mech with kaineng meta)

  12. The thing you are missing is that you get the AA on top of the normal reward you're getting.
  13. You can skip the Mystic forge step since the items are already the crafted one. But if I remember well, it's best to simply take gold for AA and use a better way for research note.

Hi, The return of the April fool event gave me some ideas of nice addition : - Chatoyant Infusion (Chatoyant Elixir/Lens effect) the idea here is simple, it's a bit of a shame that the cat are locked out behind either a limited tonic (not practical) or a rare trinket (so bad, gearing wise), so make a stat infusion bearing the effect, it will be the costly but convenient way of having this effect (since it should cost at least the cost of a normal stat infusion) - Saga End Infusion (Saga End draconic core effect) Slightly less problematic than the other one since at least this one is an ascended trinket. But you currently can only have one and it's a bit annoying if you got legendary trinket, so same treatment, make it a stat infusion. If anyone got an idea of effect linked to non practical item that maybe should deserve the same treatment, feel free to mention them 🙂
  15. Also, if you don't have Secret of the obscure, don't worry, the torch in power Reaper is enteriely optionnal, you can remplace it with any other offhand without loosing anything, dps wise.
  16. No, research note are made for crafted item, not dropped item. The only reason why you can use raid ascended item is a "side effect" on how stat change works, given you the crafted version equivalent. I Guess the only reason why it isn't patched is because it actually use material to do that, so that fine with the goal of the currency. You can always salvage raid armor and weapon directly, if it's bother you to stat change to do research note.
  17. And what make you say it's a bug? The only known rule for daily is that there is a 5aa login task and 4 10aa task. Assuming that the daily one are still expansion based, it's not impossible that the pool is small enough to have one of those two being there frequently if not everyday.
  18. Because they did something bad at HoT/PoF era doesn't mean they can't improve. Those weapons are supposed to bring more diverse options, not more overpowered options. It's good they are more reactive on that.

  21. Lhyr got the whole recipe disclosed from the start of Soto. So we are looking at 9month to do a single piece, not that hard.
  22. When is the last time you played heal scourge? They got more than enough prot uptime, they got aegis, you get a nice burst healing with transfusion and healing well. The barrier is more than enough for facetanking anything. I do agree for resolution and stab. But unless you got a guard, resolution is not needed with the amount of cleanse you got. And Scourge is perfectly viable as a main healer or even solo healer.
  23. Hum... are we playing the same game? First, I almost never see a single turle in a meta unless it's needed or grant some benefit like siege damage for drizzlewood door. Second, the turtle is the most transparent mount of the game, I never saw a case where it visually block something.
  24. This comment was about the fact you have to recraft stuff (armor, weapon, etc) when a balance patch hit, not about research note. So it was more like "you don't have to recraft, you can simply stat change your equipment"
