The NA login servers do seem to be down. I can ping them, but they're rejecting the login. All except one of them:Gw2.exe -authsrv 34.194.154.37 (this server is now down)

Logging back in, I've been rolled back ~5 minutes, so I'm guessing some Amazon servers crashed.

Something went wrong with that last patch. Having serious issues opening the gem store, trade post, and getting that dreaded "The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server" pop up. Game crashed at Shatterer, and it took 2 minutes for the trade post to register an instant sale of an item.

I'm reasonably certain whatever consultant/staff set up their AWS environment goofed some things. Networking and scaling on AWS is... not as easy as Amazon would like you to believe (I do AWS setup and troubleshooting for a living, and beat my head on performance headaches often.)
