JUN YANG.4328
i dont know why anet want to setup footprint only shown on main hand weapon. when 2 legendary equipped. we should have an on/off button for with incoming Legendary armory. so i can have a chance to see my offhand legendary footprint. CarteBlanche.3078
The unsheathe weapon sound of The Shining Blade is also quite ear-grating, but I like its visuals though.
JUN YANG.4328
i am ok with what original weapon comes with. but only shown main weapon's footprint is kind of ignoring. like when equipped Bolt and ipos. i never able to see ipos' footprint. unless i am not gona use Bolt as my main :(

Game of Bones.8975
Some footfalls are very prominent and others you'd never know a character has a Legendary.I tend to listen to the news/podcasts while playing (I've never really cared for the sounds even in GW1). I'm not as concerned about them as you are, but understand your concerns. Maybe if the footfalls would rise up out of the ground for one or two steps like the earth is disturbed by the passing of a powerful object: Frostfang would have icicles shoot up, The Incinerator may have fire, etc.
SLOTH.5231
Or they could make it where if you apply your offhand weapon first then main hand you get the offhand effect first. Or even better have the effects alternate each footstep ?
Danikat.8537
It doesn't affect me yet because I don't have any off-hand legendaries, but I agree that it would be nice to choose which footsteps you see instead of one set automatically over-riding the other. archmagus.7249
I know when they launched the 2nd gen legendaries, Rubi talked about how she wanted to get them to alternate red and blue for the footfalls of HOPE, but the game engine wouldn't allow it. Hopefully if they updated the engine, then they would have more flexibility. Like turning off a weapons footfall or coordinating the footfall with the hand they're assigned to. Morvran.8265
I'd just like to turn them off in general. The skins are nice but the footprints I could do without.
