  1. I've had some people tell me mainhand pistol would be too good for the spec, but honestly I'm not seeing it. Necromancer can be good at range and in melee, why not warrior? I get that it would become like, the best warrior around. But that doesn't sound so bad to me.
  2. Opening up elite weapons would be nice, though personally I'd be just as happy with the core classes getting a new weapon every now and then. I think it'd be great for the game and a lot of fun.
  3. Ideally you would flow from melee to range and back and forth as needed, however classes without weapon swap don't get to do that. Catalyst variable range seems the best compromise for this so far, but more stuff like that would be nice.
  4. I like the idea of a unique warrior weapon, I like the skills and traits I saw. I like the themes and the Amber tech Lore on it. I think offhand pistol looks really cool. That said, I really wish we got mainhand pistol too. I really like having a ranged and melee option on every character amd warrior doesn't seem to offer that well with this spec.
  5. Beyond just anime tropes, to the casual observer you can't tell between sufficiently developed/advanced magic, technology, and skill. Is it really fast footwork? Is it a magical teleport? Is it a technological teleport? Any way, it looks the same.
  6. With a lot of the world untouched and the dragons being put down the setting is ripe for an age of expansion and exploration, and the Mortal conflicts that arise from that sort of thing. What do the Dragon displaced races do now? Who's living in their old homes now? Who even wants to go back? With the sea dragon being in the next expansion what are the krait getting up to? And what becomes of the Pact without dragons? And not just krait, what kind of empires might be across the chokepoints the dragons held captive for so long? Lots of places it could go.
  7. I'd prefer a shield as a main hand weapon to an offhand, but it could be interesting on a spellcasting class
  8. As far as balance goes, I don't think it'll be an issue. It's a mount, it'll have a limited health pool and once you're knocked off toy need to exit combat to mount again. It'll also probably be less flexible than foot combat, doubt we'll have profession skills or features. If anything I hope it paves the way for more mounted combat on old mounts, could be a good way to breathe some life into the mounts that don't fly.

  10. Honestly I'd be most pumped for a Rifle. It's what I've wanted on an elementalist since beta.
