  1. Do you guys really have to show me a separate entry for every single item of the same type that was deposited by the same person into Treasury?Right now it's Super Clouds, but usually it's 99cm or raid kill proof that quicly fill up the History so I often can't see who donated stuff for guild upgrades. Would at least like to say thanks to the people who went out of their way to deposit something valuable for the guild... Can't keep checking the history several times a day! Here's an example. This is useless information and it's all I get to see. One entry that has x100 attached would make sense, not this...
  2. This discussion has been merged.
  3. If you want to support the game buy gems every month like I do.Don't know what to do with the gems? Do a giveaway for your guild or send them to me.
  4. Well, tbh, you shouldn't have to port out of GH even once, gw2crafts gives you a shopping list before you even begin crafting. Then you just follow the guide with all the necessary mats in your inventory/material storage.
  5. I hate story as is due to the incredibly boring, long and slow NPC conversations I couldn't care less about. Some of the annoying bosses just make it all the more frustrating because my only goal is to get the content locked behind story, the longer it takes the worse it gets... Suffering like that just to unlock game content is bleh :confounded:
  6. Good game with tons of stuff to doDoesn't require monthly subscriptionHas a currency exchange - don't need cash to get cash shop itemsCash shop items are non essential when it comes to playing the actual gamePraiseworthy business modelNot a perfect game but I don't mind spending money on it the least bit.
  7. After wasting 100 mystic coins to get 10 clovers I never used the toilet again, because that's what it is, a toilet you flush your valuables in.A surefire recipe would be nice that takes the average amount of coins, so that one person doesn't get 30 clovers in a row while another wastes a fortune to get the same amount.... A few tips btw:Take clovers from monthly login chest, do easy wvw dailies for pots to progress reward tracks that give clovers faster, do some easy stuff like taking nearby camps and such (is soloable) to progress reward track normally, can also buy magic warped bundles to get clovers if you have extra unbound magic, fractals are also an option if you're not working on fractal titles... It's a pain but at least the RNG won't spit in your face.
  8. Yes please, at least for any future story content, let us skip it please. It actually frustrates me a lot having to listen to excruciatingly slow NPC conversations I do not care about when all I want to do is play the game. The people who like or care about story can take their time to enjoy it ---> no reason to make the rest of us suffer tho!!
  9. All you've done is easy content tbh. T1 fractals (0-25) are a tutorial where you can ignore all mechanics and not die.T4 fractals + challenge modes, raids, any kind of serious PvP or WvW is skill based.Gear isn't what makes you a good player, it's your skills when it comes to using a class that sets you apart. Being able to pull DPS, reacting to mechanics in time, knowing when to use which skill, adapting your build to the situation, dodging at the right time... It all matters, a lot. Make a meta build from snowcrows and go check your DPS at training golem. See if you can pull as much as the pros. Then check how much you can pull in situations where a single misstep can kill you and your entire party :)
  10. I had no idea what to do in some fractals when I was starting out.So I watched a video guide on the daily fractals each time there was a new one on the list. That or get someone to explain it to you, plenty of ppl are willing to help. Or suffer trying to figure it out yourself. Later on at higher tiers the stuff you can facetank and skip in T1 will kill you and possibly your entire party, just a heads up.
  11. Raft best part? It's easy and takes a long time which is exactly why it is BORING if you do it more than onceTo the point I could do it blindfolded by moving left and right when that ninja is about to throw a shuriken... And I absolutely despise the invulnerable tribulation clouds. It's just a way to stall my progress even more in zones 202 & 203 which already take too long to complete on their own. I guess it's a personality thing if you like getting punished for no reason without being able to do anything about it. Psycho clouds are the worst in my opinion. It's ok to make challenging content OR time consuming content for temporary festivals. NOT both at the same time! Not everyone has the luxury to waste as much time as they want on a festival.
  12. If you do make a new world: don't make the zones horribly long/annoying like 202 & 203don't add any time wasting elements like raft in 201, octopus feeding or puzzles (gets real boring after 1st time)no sliding on ice or doing mechanics while a psycho cloud is chasing you pleasedon't make bauble collection achievement a royal pain in the you know whatfix your trampolines & bouncing mushrooms or scrap any future plans for thoseAlthough annoying enough by itself W1 was OK in terms of length/difficulty in tribulation. W2 is too much of an annoyance and a waste of time if you want to get everything done in a reasonable GW2 festival timeframe...
  13. Trise is completely right. You guys should be paying attention to what's going on around you instead of looking at and clicking around the interface. It's slower, less efficient and in heated situations it might as well cost you your life. Any half serious player should use hotkeys and customize the default keybinds. There's even videos on that. It took me less than a month as a newbie to realize how clicking stuff with the mouse is counterproductive, to put it mildly. Despite me seeing it as a non-issue, if you still insist on clicking - I have nothing against an option to hide that button.Do at least consider cutting down on mouse usage for non essential stuff tho...
  14. why are you playing it, if you hate it? I want to complete it, aka get all the achievements like I did for all the other (humane) festivals so far.I don't even care about the infusion anymore. The moment I'm done and get the 40AP for wep collections I'm not stepping foot into tribu anymore or doing anything else for that matter except dailies for achieves afterwards.
  15. I have absolutely no clue how you envisioned this tbh. What smaller chunks? What checkpoints?Beat whichever boss you want to get magnetite shards and buy the skins you want.
  16. Raids aren't rewarding at all when you take loot into consideration. If you want ascended and gold just do t4+CMs.Lege armor only thing worth gunning for. And for that they can't possibly lower the difficulty. Your only option is to buy runs from LFG then.
  17. The middle group won't complain as they will simply ignore the whole festival. Like many in my guild do.The content is simply too sadistic and messed up for many people to even consider it.I'm doing it and suffering and I hate some parts of SAB so much by now I lack the words to describe it, that's why I care enough to complain.
  18. I mean, even the original SAB designer admits that w2 was overdone, and that he made a mistake here. I never said that w2 isn't longer than w1. When speaking about being more difficult, it doesn't necessarily imply longer, as said above, you can make a zone short straight forward but with enemies mechanics that require you more strategy and slowing you down. Also if you pay attention to the environment of my quote, you we'll see that I'm speaking of tribulation. In the others messages in that thread, I clearly said infantile should be easy, normal normal, and tribulation hard. So when I said harder future zones, I speak of new foes and mechanics, and a tribulation that stay at a frustrating level but doable. Also do you think really it is exaggerate to take 7 mins to finish w2-2 compared to 5 min for w1-2? The limit for me is 15 minutes, after 15 minutes you start to be infuriated and want to stop, and that happens only in tribulation w2-2 and w2-3. I listened Josh during its stream, he thought bigger is better and of course W2 zones aren't enough cut into checkpoints or simply cut. But this isn't the reason of the freeze of SAB he said: During that time you had the LS1 events, and of course they mobilized everybody due to the huge work it one of the quote was: Sure, the first iteration of W2 was long, fastidious, you are killed by one hit, easy smile face paths weren't existing. And Josh was devastated seeing the reaction of players into a thing he spent ton of time in expecting players to be "Wow, amazing!". Does It justify to send him all the hates of the world, insulting Anet and him? Definitely not. It seams that, even after they improved W2 by adding shortcuts, you still hate them 6y after, why do you play that content then? But the scream of everyone on twitter wasn't the origin of the stop of SAB. Josh also worked on several jumping puzzles around Tyria after and even participated in the design of the Marionette fight. I'm happy for him that he has now a job he loves. During that period, players started to be bored, nothing to do anymore, that's why they added ascended stuffs. They needed income, and since SAB can't make any money, of course it was delayed and put into second priority. They tried several thing to make income or attract players, and as he said some simply haven't attracted them. When the first version of W2, I gave feedback, but never insulted him, I thanked him for the settings he made for the zones. And of course I asked for easy path back then. So of course, you will find players like you saying W2 is longer than W1, don't like it, and so it must be the cause of the stop of SAB. And you will find players like me telling you, it's not because of that, they had to keep the interest of players and income for the company, and so what they did? Ascended; then expansions. We can turn in round like that infinitely, was LS1 really necessary? Could haven't them directly launched ls2 and hot? And finishing as side project SAB?Was it an error to launch SAB at this time? Should have been launched later? Not everyone like SAB, see its stream, one of its chief, raised in communism never know 8bit and hated SAB. There is ton of players here like that "Stop putting those ugly graphics in my face". It doesn't lead anywhere to continue saying w2 is longer than w1. I ask YOU, what you would do? In all seriousness, tell me. Would you redo W2 again? Would you simply cut a part of the zones into abyss? What I am saying, there is players who already finished all collections and achievs for tribulations, can you imagine reducing the zones? Wouldn't it be unfair that some players experienced long hard path and some others will experience a small path?SAB is a great event, most unique one of them all if that makes you and Josh feel any better. I'd even praise the last two zones for their uniqueness if it wasn't for the need to run them so many times. He simply shot himself in the foot with time consuming achievements like the 96 (6x16) tribulation runs within a 3-4 week window (among other annoying stuff) > that, my friend, can be changed and fixed, especially when you take into consideration the release of additional worlds aka having even more content to do within the same time limit. Tribu runs are too punishing to make them repetitive as part of achievements. After the first one, additional runs should be optional with nothing but bonus daily rewards imo.
  19. Not that I expect them to. What they can do is nerf the achievement requirements for w2.I can do tribu runs of all zones in w2 but it takes a while and doing the last zones 16 times is a pain to put it mildly. If it stays the same and they add more worlds with the same achievements new players will have to make SAB their full time job if they want to complete it...And yes, I was also jumping on trampolines with a 40ms ping for a while without them doing anything...
  20. Yes, but considering all the perversions being thrown at you it can make life a lot easier. If you can consistently pull it off but many cannot. One word: MacroYou can use it for simple stuff like pressing two buttons at the same time.
  21. Yes, but considering all the perversions being thrown at you it can make life a lot easier.
  22. That sounds like you're playing tribulation. Normal is talking to the npc in the middle, when you enter the house. tribulation is a nightmare. Yes, I do play tribulations (with intent). But I can't understand how to handle the jumping rocks. I jump away from a platform, but I still get knockback by the jumping rock and fall to my demise. I watched youtube videos and people seem safe after they jumped out of the platform, but it doesn't work when I do it.Dodge jump away from it? Assign dodge jump to a macro key if you can't press both Jump&dodge at the same time reliably. Even that will fail you often enough tho.Can also dodge into the rock first and then jump onto it. Just depends where you are tbh.
  23. It's just too much of a waste of time if you want to do the festival properly and complete everything ._.Too much annoying, time consuming stuff to do within the few weeks this is on. Saps the fun right outta it.If you get home from work at 5, rest/shower/eat/whatevs and have nothing else to do you have just enough time to dedicate ALL OF IT to SAB( ╯°□°)╯ ┻━━┻ PS: I can actually play more due to COVID-19 and I will probably be able to do all the achieves but ugh, I'm sick and tired of the tribu runs already
  24. Then don't do it :) tribulation mode isn't meant to be easy and those two final zones separate the truly good players from the TacO heroes who have just been phoning it in. W2Z2 is certainly long, and the jump poles will murder you until you figure out how to make them launch you forward at high speed, plus that trib cloud... Holy jeez. But that's what makes the mode appealing - losing 50 lives in 5 minutes over and over again until you nail a section and it never bothers you again. W2Z3 is by far the most epic zone by the way, some of those jumps are insane and the cloud jumping sections are hair raising. If anything, I want any future zones to be more difficult. Yeah I don't mind if they make it super duper extremely difficult to the point where you want to throw your computer out. Nor do I judge people who are masochists or have all the free time they want in the world to complete all the SAB content. Tribulation is in all honesty kinda fun unless you have to spam it.For all I care give people titles for their time & suffering, ascended items, infusions, whatever - just DON'T PUT ACHIEVEMENT POINTS BEHIND EXTREMELY LONG, SADISTIC CONTENT THAT, ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE - IS TIMEGATED > that's my pointIf I had all year to do this I wouldn't have much to complain about. All the other festivals are great: there's some daily stuff to doachievements are doable and don't require you to make them your full time jobit's casual, there's no rush and no pressure there's always something you can optionally farm if you feel like it and sink more time into itSAB on the other hand is the complete opposite with additional issues: Collecting all the baubles on some levels can easily take several hours in one continuous sitting, you can't track your progress, you have to backtrack, if you dc you're done forThe weapon collections with 20AP each are a mess! Requires WAY too much time and effort for a festival achievement that's doable once a year for a few weeks. Skins and achievement should be unlockable by doing Normal mode. Lock the infusion behind some additional tribulation mode content. It's buggy, mushrooms and trampolines are like Schrödinger's cat, you don't know if they'll work or not! As if it's not enough that we have to rely on some cheat like jumps to get to some places. The last 2 zones are way too long & they plan to add even more worlds! I repeat, this is a seasonal event, not everyone can sink enough time into SAB to complete all the normal stuff plus everything on tribulation mode. So the problem is that I want to do it but they made getting all the achievements a repetitive & time consuming hell.
