Thanks, I was thinking about making a thread how this was ability gated but feared it would be merged with another issue. My issue is epilepsy. There are at least 2 things you have to do to complete it with flashing lights which can trigger photosensitive seizures. I was not even able to get that far as my brain had a strong feeling of vertigo trying to fly up the wing, which I know from experience can set off a seizure as well. To the people who are laughing at this: yes, brains do not always make sense, why do you think 'rides' at amusement parks that barely move warn of motion sickness? I would strongly urge they have someone on their playtesting or dev teams with a disability. They would point out these gotchas, even if the person might not be personally impacted by them. ET over here. (Essential tremors, not the alien.) I managed it but only just. I don't have it as bad as others in the family but when the tremors came on I really had to slam on the keys to make sure I hit them. I would appreciate someone with a motor skill impairment to be part of future beta tests for new content too.

We already had this discussion many times over.The answers are going to be no different: That GW2 is not WoW, it's not supposed to be WoW, and the Devs and majority of players are happy it isn't WoW. I'm not telling anyone to shove off here but given that that's what the answer has always boiled down to and probably always will, surely if you want to play WoW, just go play WoW.Don't try to make one game into another, games are supposed to be diverse. It's better this way. You'd get bored real quick if everything you logged into was same old same old.(Seriously though the best thing to do is to enjoy things on their own merit. Hope you find your joy.)

Answered yes to easy and hard mode because you know what yeah it would make raids more accessible, new raiders could train on easy mode for less loot to try it out before committing wads of gold and mats to crafting asc gear for meta. It's one of the things that puts me off raids too. Just not willing to sink that much time and effort into just getting in a group that wants ppl with full meta only to risk finding out it might be the most dull thing in game.

No, it’s a known bug where a series of numbers and letters show instead of the display name. It’s probably an internal account ID. I realised from another reply it wasn't a serial code. But that's interesting to know.

Agreed. It's only useful to new players and the first time something occurs. After 5 years of playing or the umpteenth time it pops up we don't need this kind of hand-holding.

+1 for Helpful.The only thing I could possibly suggest OP is if the Daughter's account is currently free-to-play and not cost any money yet to buy full version is to simply start another FTP and upgrade the new one once she sets the server to the right region. If it's already a full account though I would suggest Mew's idea and go through a support ticket.

This.Also gonna agree with others above you who have mentioned keylogging malware. Have you got a decent antivirus program?If you don't, I recommend you get one, or if you know someone who is a close friend or fam member with one that allows install on multiple devices to let then install a copy on your machine. Or if you know people who haven't got one you can get them to all chip in with you and you be the primary installer which is what I did.How it works is I pay for antivirus and install it on every machine in the immediate family, it's about £70 a year but it's covering 3 PCs, 4 laptops, 2 tablets and a phone. Once everyone chips in £5 it's really a bargain for the security.

"Why should I get a Skyscale if I have a Griffon?"It really just boils down to if you want to imo. Skyscale doesn't do anything the Springer and the Griffon used in combo couldn't do before. It's only major plus is it's convenient that it's all in one mount now if you want it.

GW2 is NOT free 2 play. It's a wrong and shady advertisement.Nothing meaningful in this game is available without buying whole content - perhaps lws2 is not a must, but all the rest is (provided you want to gear multiple chars and participate in all activities/have all mounts).Every new player should calculate 2 expansions and lws3+4 at very least. My advice: . Collect all the gold you can - everything in GW2 gets cut down to gathering gold (by simply run&tag mobs or doing same big bullet sponges again and again). With that gold you can buy yourself content, gear up , bypass timegates, collections and so on.Sounds boring and brain dead? Yes. It's getting worse. On the plus side at least gold farming is an option in this game so you have a choice whether to invest more time or money.

Need to know as it's a bit of an accessibility issue. UI size small option is fine (ditto chat box, I mostly use Discord anyway) I want to keep it that way so I don't get visual disturbance when focusing on the task at hand but when I zoom out on the mini map so I can see a larger area the icons go so small some of them like the Mistonium icon go so small I can barely see them. I already wear glasses but it's hurting my eyes to see the icons and I need the map zoomed out for material hunting more than ever now I have to regather the materials I used up in Skyscale. If I missed the option to do that somewhere can someone please tell me where it is?And if it just isn't a thing:Devs can we please have the tiniest bit of code just to allow us a settings button on the mini map to let us set the icon size of things please? I'm getting worried that it's not helping my sight while I'm playing. (Also before anyone asks yes I do take breaks for this reason but it's just getting a bit much regardless.)Thanks.

Doesn't even need to be accurate if you're just looking for something to do. 1 Griffon, for combined movement freedom and top speed.2 Skyscale, close second to Griffon based on movement freedom and decent flight distance just not as long fast or sustainable as Griff'.3 Jackal, best ground mount for evade, ability use midfall to negate dmg, and speed imo made Raptor redundant almost immediately after unlocking.4 Skimmer, jetski critter enough said.5 Springer, liked the way it looks but a slow runner, can't evade much even with Jackal mastery 4, and became redundant to me somewhat after Griffon but Skyscale was the final nail in it's coffin as a cliff climber. RIP Adorabunny.____ The Bar ___6 Roller Beetle, loved the speed boost idea but hate it in practice slightest bit of lag will ruin any attempt at using drift for any control.7 Raptor, Meh, also like the way they look just not necessary anymore for me.8 Warclaw, I don't have one because not doing WvW I don't see the point getting one just for PvE as it's abilities won't work there anyway. Hot keys for mounts was kind of annoying as we run out of spare keys but tbh I just fixed that by unbinding Raptor since imo having the Griffon and Skyscale renders it defunct in it's movement ability, tbh it was already the least used mount before that point when I found I could cross the same gap by double jumping the Jackal.

I dunno, we still get plenty on underwater points of interest, vistas, and mastery places underwater to visit with a lot of maps so we're probably going to get more for new maps too. It'd be fun to zip about underwater and might make collecting them a bit more fun too.

Mostly indifferent but I'm leaning to yes. Wouldn't mind another tbh.(Edit: what the person below and above me said. Underwater hasn't got a mount yet, and if we are ever going to go after the deep sea dragon it would soften the blow. But Underwater gear would have to be expanded on and made better for that too imo. A Tyrian take on a seahorse would be cool.)
