I have the skyscale, I don't need a fancy skin. I played swg unlocked jedi before nge hit got a fancy elder robe/kenobi's legacy lightsaber crystal, I can tell you now exclusive kitten does nothing good for the community. I'm happy others will be happy, let your gameplay do the talking!

Ya no thanks. More options for pistol is a good thing. The hype train for han helsing guard is real, has already brought the beer aboard. Just waiting for the signal to depart. Warhorn is under represented too, as is mace and rifle but pistol was right there with em. I'm sure it's time will come.

When they made this decision back in gw1 it took what 6-7 years for new content in the form of gw2. Be careful what you wish for.

Heavy 10/10: looks like the true heir to the good looking armors from gw1. Medium 8/10: I actually prefer the WvW mist forged armor to this, still excellent. Light 8/10: I can now finally roleplay as Steve Perry from the OH Sherrie music video...nothing would make me happier QUOTING THAT SONG IN HATE TELLS!

Obsidian armor was only prestigious if you were poor. All you had to do was farm 1st tier of tombs for a week and you had more ecto than you knew what to do with. Still to this day I'll never understand why ectos were so expensive when they were so easy to farm.

EoD is the PC edition of cantha. If you want the real guild wars cantha do yourself a favor and play factions. You'll see what I mean. This was guild wars being too afraid to stay true to their roots and offend the largest economy in the world (albeit controlled economy) It's the LeBron effect. Everyone's is willing to stand for a cause until China threatens to take its monies and go home.

I have to give credit where credit is due, this all sounds like a mega step in the right direction. No stupid gimmicks like player housing or raids. Open world leggy armor for all the poor souls that get farmed in wvw and pvp. LOVE the weapon restrictions finally being lifted. About time, but hey better late than never. No more dragon bs. You name dropped gw1....I mean ya you won points there. Making skyscale easy to get (I already have it, but FINALLY purging the forums of all the whiney kittens. You could release No new maps and this is still better than all of EoD! Well done keep up the great work!!

I'm convinced if we had a "buy gemstore items" sub forum the devs would be in there every day taking suggestions for how better to take our monies. It's the total opposite of the PvP/WvW forums. You buy gems now....buy em now. I agree though reddit has now proven how unstable it is with the recent power trip by the mods.(one can only hope reddit steps in and cleans house when it comes to these rogue elements) It would be best to just avoid that cesspool and turn their attention to their "official" forums. Maybe stop by the WvW threads once every year...twice if they feel bold.

I genuinely hope they replace the over zealous mods on the gw2 reddit. They held a poll. It wasn't very overwhelming in terms of for the black out...yet they went ahead anyway defending a cause not many care about. I mean gw2's sub reddit is insignificant in the grand scheme of reddit. I'd bet hardly any of the current members even used 3rd party apps or cared. Volunteer or not it's time for a change hopefully reddit eliminates them as mods and brings on a new less biased crew. The absolute best thing is gw1's sub reddit joined the dumb protest. The extremely active gw1 subreddit....hahahahaha. I felt so bad for the few that actually still use gw1. More of a reason that gw2 devs should use the OFFICIAL forums instead of that reddit anyway.

Your totally right. I forgot that sad protest was actually a thing. Of all the causes to protest, I've never seen anyone go to bat for people openly farming data for free. The reddit mods must be of high intellect and a studious nature to be so well informed on the matter.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Main reddit sucks but for once they are 100% in the right.

Woo I've run this in PvP and wvw for years...I finally get to turn of the graphical vomit in PvE too!!! Anet...your getting me all hot and bothered....suddenly I'm not as bitter about wasted content like fishing and skiffs and ofcourse lack of WvW/pvp content in general. Keep up the good work you smexy pirates!

The skyscale isn't even high effort. It's literally 1 big scavenger hunt. Open the wiki on your phone or tablet. Keep it by you, go to each location. Beat the return to stories for each chapter get the currency stack....bam you have a new skyscale. Imagine if SWG was around today....unlocking jedi pre cu would drive some people to suicide. Different times we live in I guess, kinda sad to think about.

Trahearne is better than any of these current "companion characters" they shove down our throats today. Even Aurene is a horrible design. Infact I'd go so far as to say aurene takes everything people hated about trahearne and intensifys it by over a thousand. She's the ultimate I win button, lazy writing, horrible dialog. So ya, give me plant marshall back anyday over this horrible cast.

I'm just suprised someone actually paid attention to minis. No insult, just genuinely suprised. I forgot they were even a thing in this game other than when they put them as lazy filler for BLC's.
