You want something really really fun. Run base warrior full celestial. Now that's op af right now when trained correctly. I'm face tanking mechs and any other build with it. Now I am playing against lesser competition in BG and Mag but still. It's epic!

Each profession has something that's better than it and hard counters it. Ranged burst pressure has always been the hard counter to must cheese builds, just as Melee with tons of blocks is the pressure to ranged. I'm critical of things anet has done in the past especially regarding them gutting Berzerker just before PoF launched, and constantly punishing power mirage for the sins of condi scum. I find no real fault in what they did to engi. I think we can all agree Engi rifle was totally worthless pre-buff. You find that very, very rarely do you come across a mech that's played well. Most of the time as with all new and popular specs it attracts the weekend warriors, or loot bags. Chill out take your best spec and go hunting. Balance right now is actually in a good spot.

There is absolutely nothing broken about SA deadeye. It's fairly easy to kill for most players that have a brain. I'm sighting it as something that the lesser players can try and use to stop the mindless spam of these mech's.

1 Average played SA deadeye will eat an mech slave alive. Try it, you kill em before their roboslave even knows what happened

I personally think it's golden joystick worthy. I mean the amount of sheer content alone to do in that large busy hustling and bustling city is unrivaled. Just outstanding....magnificent....bravo Anet......Brah-voh! Just quality....unmatched. So much content. Forget the alliance update, we got all the content we needed. As a person who hates sunlight but loves fishing they are letting me do something I've only ever dreamed about attempting IRL. And those boats....Love em! The skimmer creeper never needs to be used again! Oh oh and turtle race is master race. Should get last year's golden joystick as well!!!!

I enjoyed path of fires advanced professions more and the overall map design. I wish it had hot's meta boss reasons to go back. Hot was good though. Not factions good, but def good.

You'd probably wanna focus on staff/shroud. Id probably go staff with axe/warhorn. Take utilities that effect speed/shroud build up. If they haven't nerfed that one trait that allows shroud 1 to pierce I'd grab that too. Remember your not going for damage, your main goal I'd say is AoE tagging and speed saving shroud for the spam spawns. Staff being pretty great for on demand aoe. I'd use warhorn 5 for large groups too. Obviously if your leveling you won't have all traits. So I'd focus more on getting used to the weapon rotation and 100% take movement utility skills.

I wouldn't be surprised. We already received such well thought out and extremely difficult content such as Capes, boats(who needs skimmers anyway), and fishing. These totally usefull and EXTREMELY engaging and challenging content additions have been met with resounding success and have certainly covered up the glaring lack of any actual content like More raid wings, more fractals, maybe a new tyrian Holliday or 2, adding a new SAB wing, pretending to actually care about WvW and sPvP, a new fractal wing or 2, or maybe even living world content that isn't some time warp to 2012. But heck ya let's do instanced player housing because lord knows that sounds fun and totally hasn't been a snoozefest in every other game it's been implemented. While we are at it can we have some form of instanced player amphibian horse mount that has a butt cape that you can fish off of while looking cool! Just bring on maintenance mode please before we hit all the major boring cliché mmo content.

Now I've read everything. The absolute worst, boring, and least tedious content filler ever added to video games is now...too hard and needs nerfed to be so easy you need only think about fishing to have a full inventory of fish! Gw2 was toxic long before the steam launch. However the same can be said for any mmo ever because when you introduce an all chat you will always have some edge lord fresh from mommas basement telling the world how much everything sucks. Welcome to the internet, I'd advise developing a thicker skin and moving on.

Personally I think mirage has 1 too many dodges....I'd like to live in a world where if mirage trys to dodge they get an auto -70% armor debuff. It is my scientific opinion that this would solve the celestial debate. Thank you for your time, #deletemirageplz

Not gonna lie have recently leveled up a new character on a new account and I gotta say all these changes they made are very restrictive to people that know the game. We should be able to opt out and jet.

Wait wait wait you think that them going back and re-releasing old content is lazy? Have you ever worked in game design? I dunno bud I think alot of people are pissed off because they view this steam launch as a colossal waste of resources in the wake of an ex pack that has left a lot of questions with few answers. It's a 10 year old game. There aren't that many people that only play steam and steam alone titles. Had they wanted to play gw2 I'm pretty sure they would have tried years ago it's not like Anet doesn't give out free heroic keys left and right. Now that's just how I interpret the anger some feel and frankly I feel they are alittle over the top because I don't see any harm in trying to rope a few through steam. No one will ever be happy 100%

Gw2 is many things but I wouldn't classify it as overly grindy. Tbh I can't remember a time when it was ever that bad. You earn most of what you'll ever need just by playing what you enjoy. I mean leggy weapons and armor are total jokes if you think they require effort. The only thing grindy is if you want infusions. No real grind. Just have to show up.
