I don't run Arc. Never have and never will. I don't trust 3rd party non reputable software. I measure my success by the hate tells I receive and by the scalps I collect. Truthfully my end game content is geared more toward skilled pvp play vs mindless spam such as PvE. Arc is probably a great measuring stick while watching how to youtube kill a boss.

I did always find it strange that svanir chief guy was a harder kill than literal dragon champions. Now I'm just a simple country pvpr, but I've done my share of world boss's, I've always been curious about this. Best answer I can give is it keeps the train on schedule, no waiting around and no going over time limit. Everything has an estimated kill time to keep the already normally empty maps full when the boss pops. From a wb train standpoint that's all that ever made sense. Math sucks but it keeps the power on!

I've never understood why they never added dye channels for weapons. Literally was a feature in the 1st game, not very advanced but I had a lime green chaos axe that was totally fantastic. Now I'm not one to constantly compare the titles as they are similar in name alone, but are you telling me it was that hard to do? Don't give me the bantha poodoo about too many weapons. If they had added the option from the start they would have easily been able to keep up. Just like with armor and other things.

It would be disingenuous to leave a positive review of GW2 on the steam side. The effort just isn't there anymore. The competitive game modes are in shambles, the raid scene is darn near impossible to break into for non raiders and is clearly on deaths door. The story is meh now. I mean for goodness sake their idea of new content is re-releasing season 1 of living world. The negative reviews are totally justified do not be too quick to assume trolls are the only reason it's tanking. I love gw2, but I'd be a liar to myself if I ignored the state of the game! No I haven't left a negative review, let the new folks find the disappointment out on their own. I mean skiffs??? That was the expacks cool new feature.....and fishing......bleh

Alliances won't fix the core issues with WvW. We knew in 2015 how useless it was, was just nice to hear anet acknowledge wvw existed. Can't say I expect it to come. Look how they word the "betas"! I mean 4 betas and that's all they have to show for a 7 year old idea?

No swg vet likes to admit it but if we go back in time the forums were alight with crybabies in regard to unlocking jedi or the admittedly abysmal combat system from the CU bounty hunting etc. There is alot of people with alot of blood on their hands that weren't there when the lights went out like I was. Now I actually kind of enjoyed the NGE, the last devs that swg had for the last 3 years of its life were actually doing a heck of a lot of good. Point is those devs early on while yes were very interested in competing with wow for good reason, they were also being bombarded daily with complaints that would make the WvW forum blush. It's good to an extent that they stick to their game plan and not let the inmates run the asylum.
