  1. I think this is blown big time out of proportion. Me having a full time job was able to get the turtle mount within the first few days after the expansion release. Including finishing the story. The only thing people have a hard time on are the meta and the strike. Just wait in the map and a tag will group everyone one up for the meta. Stay in the map. Or move into the map with the tag. The strike. Me and my gf went in blind on the strike and the group one shot the fight while no one knew the mechanics. Just dont die. And dont put your body aligned with a persons number and you shouldnt be downed. A lot of groups solo heal that fight so the strike takes somewhat spit healing.
  2. You know I usually don't defend anet because I have been very negative towards things they have done in the past but, to say that EOD wasn't a lot of content is disheartening. EOD expac made every content in EOD replayable. The part that draws people away is because there are people that will not do legendaries or fashion wars. And that is the biggest part of gw2 that is repeatable. And its sad that the people who choose not to are the same people who can't figure out what to do in gw2. And sure legendaries aren't the reason to play gw2 but, the collections to get the EOD legendary skins are good requirements into getting them. You have to do events in ore if you want the zhaitan skins You have to do hot if you want mordremoth skins You have to do season 4 to get kralks skins. That in itself is a good way that kept the community in playing together over and over because it is repeatable. Not only that the currencies for all the pieces you need to farm EOD metas to buy the legendaries and skin legendaries for EOD. Which is a good thing. Next we have strikes. The last EOD strike CM took half the time then going for dhuum cm. The EOD strike cm took snowcrows team longer than killing wing6 and 7 cms. So the competitiveness within the strike cms is equivalent to raids that are current. After all raids are the stepping stone to raids which adds more players in the community to play that content. Which in the future will lead to more raids added if the community is invested into them. Not only that, they adjusted raid currency + made more ways to make legendaries easier to farm. They added new season 1 episodes that require open world events to do. Another way for newer players to get into the game. They added a turtle mount which requires open world eod metas. Yes we dont have fracs or wvw alliances. However wvws content has always been about the players that drive the server full. Dungeons have been done with since hot. Idk why your expecting those. Since dungeons require some competitiveness and interaction. Strikes and fracs are pretty much better than dungeons and that is something you should look forward to rather than pure dungeons. They actually made a lot of dungeons obsolete since they made dungeons all one currency. So now people can just farm 3 or 4 dungeons and never do the harder ones.
  3. As much as this is a better change. This won’t fix the attention of making warrior back into the mix of using it as a quickness source. Or that it still won’t be used by most groups within the raid, and strike community. It uses warhorn which no one will use it as a build and requires numerous amount of boon duration. What could change it is banner could work like spirits uptime. Druid spirits uptime is very easy to upkeep. Warrior banners could pulses quickness per interval depending on how many banners and how much potency it will give out each pulse could justify bringing warrior back in the mix as quickness. another thing is the fact that since a lot of supports can already give might + quickness/ alac at the same time. You could rotate a couple traits around in the tactic traitline. Phalanx strength trait being grandmaster and And martial cadence master grandmaster should be separated trait masters. Ether martial cadence be major grandmaster and then phalanx strength master grandmaster. That way you can run both. Give might + quickness. While most raid/strike squads warriors will run axe/axe. You can upkeep as long as you have the banner pulse quickness every interval it would be more realistic to the community. I am only saying this because mech alac can give 25 might + alac. Druid can give 25 might + alac. Healbrand can give 25 might + quickness. tempest can give 25 might + alac. It should only be fair for warriors to do the same.
  4. In todays way of getting into groups LI or LD is enough to get into most raiding groups where you can delete your kp and make it in. It’s a + if you have the armor / trink done or title to ping.
  5. This game technically was not designed for casuals. Before the game has given expacs. This game was high pvp focused and did actual tournaments where real people earned real cash money. They only cater to casual players because more casual people are more willing to pay more in game. This game tried pvp tournaments. Gave out raid wings 1-3 withing 6 months because Anet wanted players to play this game to a high level. And technically the only reason raids haven’t been up kept because players don’t know how to kill the raid bosses for them to create more wings. That is why strikes have been started so that players could get into harder content to play better and to have a chance to raid like most raiders. But this game truly isn’t a casual game “if” you want to play this game to the fullest. Only reason it’s casual because people give up on the content and stay within open world and then blame Anet to nerf the meta just like every single casual player is doing now. Omg dragon meta is too hard. Omg why do I need to run a proper build. Omg why Anet why you make me try to play the game with other players. This right here is the reason why Anet makes easier content. Because the players who beat the content within the first day are overlooked at players who complain about this dragon meta like it’s hard to defeat. However each time Iv done the meta I haven’t wiped at all. Even pre nerf. This game has never been casual. Even the design of open world casuals want it nerfed. Hot open world nerfed. The eater in poF story was nerfed. Mordremoth story instance nerfed. Dragon meta nerfed. Many things Anet starts in the beginning Anet has to change cause casuals whine that they can’t beat it.
  6. Like title says. After a while of thinking and not trying to bash Anets decisions but I think this one is truly something that affects the community and gives a domino affect. What I mean is, Anet’s reason for content to not be hard and let the community ‘develop’ so that they can do harder content goes against of what they have said with letting people just buy the turtle. And what they are trying to do for the community. What I mean is them completely going away from people having to do the EOD strike and completely avoid the meta. Avoid the jade maw that players already have done. Because a gemstore item was created, they wanted people to spam the credit card rather than do something that could potentially make the community better and instead led our community to give up. Why is this bad? Because raids are dead until Anet decides when strikes are done till a certain rate that they think is efficient enough to develop raids. With which they have said until the community does more of these then we can decide to make more. Raids. But if Anet let’s players avoid the strike in itself to get a Mount to earn it…. How can all these players develop to do strikes? They won’t. We are stuck in the same spot as a community. Players will give up, not try to do anything harder than open world. Hell many players won’t even do open world since players gave up on the new meta. so in this instance it was a lose lose. Content that anet wants the whole community to get involved into but removes what the community needs to be involved to do them. Anyways Im more upset because there was potential in making the community better so that within the future we could get more harder content because more players would play. However seeing this hurts because I know that we’re stuck in the same spot. Anet will just release more open world maps. And instanced content will be pushed in the back burner waiting 3-4 months for 1 new instanced content that lasts 5-10 mins.
  7. I don’t understand why you need Anet to speak at the moment. Anet so far has communicated about the patches and bugs that are in game. Also for about few more weeks mostly Anet will be fixing bugs. Anet can’t reply to everyone nit picking. After all gameplay is more important then someone complaining about a certain spec losing certain buffs vs players getting stuck under scenery in story or strikes. To think truly about EOD. Anet did a great thing compared to POF launch. The game is more stable. Much more beautiful. Strikes are truly fun. The final boss in the story was very fun. The maps are gorgeous. The specs are good and new which create diff comps and versatility. after all Anet is rolling out fixes. Since launch Anet has rolled out about 5 patches. And usually Anet waits until next Tuesday for a new patch. So give them credit for what’s due. After all they could be like other games and don’t create bug fixes till months later. But instead they have been putting the time and effort into fixing the expansion. But to think they haven’t been communicating, I’m honestly asking where they haven’t? Even in twitter they communicated some recipes were bugged that we couldn’t purchase yet and they are looking into it.
  8. If you truly want legendary armor then your first set will take the longest because you need to understand raids. Also I’d suggest using the SC power soulbeast build but also be versatile. Raids use many different elite specs in different classes. Some fights are better as condi. Some fights power. So if you want to stay soulbeast at least invest into a viper set also. power Soulbeast is ok as long as you know how to use it correctly. However since your new that might not be the case. Practice in the raid golem and get a viper set and practice condi rotations. Bring the builds into fractals to better perfect them and then bring them into raids. also there are plenty of raid training guilds that will happily teach you. Do not blame the it on raids are too hard. They are not hard at all. They are hard at the start because there isn’t anything close to raids in game atm. It’s coming from open world into raids which is a big gap that you have to change. Strokes are still tech too easy to be compared to the difficulty like raids. repeat your combat rotations till you are able to do rotations while talking on the phone and eating a sandwich while playing. If you can’t do that then repeat till you can. Once you can do that your ready to not go in the golem anymore. Always practice. Even the best hit up the golem everyday.
  9. I agree and that Arenanet needs to stop adding new game modes. Tbh dungeons/fractals, raids, pvp, wvw is enough game modes. The problem is they aren't watering the game modes and letting it die before they should be watered again. Tbh strikes was a bad move. Everyone asked for raid difficulties. Since strikes are the "stepping stone" to raids. All they had to do was rework raids and add easy modes for them and add a hard mode. No need of adding a new portal to a new instance. No need of new instanced maps. Then they could've added a couple more new wings with something to look forward to. Like per say new raid legendary skins for pve. However strikes are already pretty much empty like raids. Maybe 1-2 strikes up in LFG in NA and that's it. Instead of adding this new 5 man content. Just add a new fractal, then say add legendary fractal armor, that you can get legendary armor through fractals now or, legendary infusions.instead now we assume were not going to get another fractal till sometime summer next year. Raids if ever, and WvW? lol yea right. And pvp, new few skills changes? I honestly don't think that expansions should be an excuse for reason why content shouldn't be released with a quality manner. Since they named living world this so called "Saga" because it suppose to be giving "expansion like" content, then these episodes should be far better then satisfactory. But since season 4 these episodes have truly been lackluster, and no driven heart whelming episode hasn't been put into any episode since season 3. Repeatable content hasn't been challenging for veterans. There is no goal for new gamers to go after. Why would people do strikes if there is no new raids? Why would you want to see how raiding is if raids are dead? Why do fractals once a day besides because it gives gold? Why wvw with the same 4 maps after how many years, and no new ways to play it and no new rewards? Why pvp when no new maps or balancing? Why does gw2 have the best mmo combat system but doesn't release more content to let the combat shine? Why is it that Arenanet caters to the people who press 1 button but not the people who actually play the game and invest the most time and money in?
  10. I got the legendary wvw ring within a month - month a half the most and my level is at the low 200 level in wvw. So I only get + 1 added pip. You only need 3 days of wvw. 1 full day + 2 days of just going right before reset. However as much as people don’t say it. Always go for out numbered to get pips faster. Your talking 12 pips vs 6 pips. Which is much better. And if it is outnumbered don’t tell anyone. That way all you do is kill sentrys. Or little camps. If you die owell. Go for sentrys and repeat till outnumbered is gone. But don’t say you need a high level to get all you need to finish diamond in one day. That’s people with like lvl 1000-2000. Which you can get a legendary armor set way before that. Outnumbered is something I can see only in the morning when I'm at work.In theory it sounds amazing, irl it's useless unless you're a kid on vacation. I’ve seen it available at all hours of the day. You just need to continually be hopping maps and checking the buffs of others to see if it’s available. This is not true, that buffs accessibility will vary with your server and population up-time I’m on BG which is a T1 server and one people argue that is over stacked. If I have seen the buff available at any hour then surely it can be on other servers. It all depends on how many players are on a map from your server versus all of the others. I also want to clarify that I don’t mean that it will always be available 100% of the time. I was just disputing the claim that it was only available in the morning. No. The trade off for sPvP and WvW having legendary armor was that they would not have skins specific to the legendary armor itself. The ascended armor sets used as the precursors are unique enough. Most people that don't raid would disagree. Since the skins are the same as the ascended precursors the item doesn't indicate the same prestige as its pve counterpart. The prestige is that it let’s them change stats and eventually equip across all of their characters that can use it. I can't even join some maps cuz they're full when I'm able to play and you're telling me there is surely an outnumbered buff somewhere...Guess all I can do is agree with a sarcasticYES Please read the entirety of my posts. I did not say that there would be a buff 100% of the time. The claim was that the buff would only be available in the morning which I disputed as I have been able to get the buff at all hours. This was over the course of several months when farming for a legendary armor set as well as the ring. I'm also on a T1 server that players have argued to be the most overstacked and yet I was able to find that buff. Yes, and I keep telling you that the buff is, to working adults, a completely useless and UNRELIABLE way to boost pips, even if it does pop up for a few minutes in the evening here and there... It's a rare exception, not the norm, and I won't let anyone portray it as something else. I've gotten that buff often in the late afternoons and evenings when I got home from work. All maps do not have the same population of players from each of the servers. A lot of the time there's usually one zerg that hops around and several havoc groups. Depending on how players shift around the four maps, anyone can get the outnumbered buff. It's not something available solely in the mornings. But you know what, go ahead and continue to believe that it's improbable to get the buff in times outside of the morning. It'll just make it that much more easier to get for others. It's not belief, it's facts from when I was playing WvW to finish some reward tracks.I did several of those and NEVER have I see the buff pop up for long enough for it to MATTER.People tell their friends/guilds about it and in the next 5 minutes it's gone. It’s the timing when you get on. For example Friday you will never get it since it’s reset. Most likely to get out numbered is let’s say Tuesday morning. Or Thursday before reset. Since Tuesday is sometimes content days most players will be doing that leaving servers open. And Thursday’s are empty because it’s the last day to get your pips and most likely people already have gotten them. Ether that or stay on the map when the other team is zerging and capping your map. To say that is “fact” is not really a true thing since it’s possible on my end and others. If you wanted to put facts then I would like statistics please. Likewise, show some statistics, people are selling me the story of the outnumbered buff as if it's something I can regularly rely on to get extra pips in the evening when some maps are often full to begin with.I'm not arguing the fact that it can pop up for a short while - I just can't stand people sugarcoating the buff. It's not something that can be counted or relied upon when it comes to farming pips - it feels like I was told to rely on rare drops to farm gold - it's light years away from reality. I agree with you. I truly don’t know the actual amount and it isn’t everyday. But it’s def not on reset day. And longest I get it is maybe couple hours on my server. But it’s rare. Hours to avoid to get it are reset since that’s when everyone is on. And wkened mornings. I guess it also depends on how active the servers against you are. Cause the more people that go against you make it that your outnumbered. How much people? Idk. Usually when a tag on their server is when it’s there. So when your getting your butt kicked and your alone is most likely when it’s there.

  12. There was literally a bounty train yesterday in NA in the afternoon.

  14. U know I truly had to think about it. It is fact that you can get legendary armor in less amount of time if you can actually kill every boss in wings 1-4 every week. And u know what, I thought what is a realistic time a brand new raider would have to put in. Let’s start with throwing out w2 as brand new raider. Why? Because as much as a lot of people do not put to account. If your bad in dodging or recognizing bad aoes which new raiders will be, sloth will wreck you from the first slam. So I thought w2 would def be out of li reach until a month or 2 of raiding. Or depending how fast a player can truly develop into understanding that mechanics are important. Most new raiders struggle with cairn but sloth starting is just not realistic unless you have a good guild constantly picking you up. Which I doubt would they let a new raider come into in the first place. The other realistic thing. Xera is also not new player friendly. A person coming into the game to start raiding is impossible without leyline gliding. In all honesty when people first raid only w1 and w4 are ever touched for a couple weeks until the person can get better gear and develop their rotations better to kill the boss. So at the start w1 + w4 + escort That’s 9 li for the first few weeks until the player could even develop to touch w2 and and kc- xera. W3 isn’t hard however kc is a big gap of understanding rotations matter for damage. And xera involves you grinding mastery points and ton of exp to get into the main fight. 9 li for say the first couple weeks to a couple months. Then after and (if) the person gets better then it would be all 15. But for people to assume that you can just pop in raiding and get all 15 li when you start raiding is a big stretch. The most a person will get when first starting at maybe 8 and that’s stretching it. I’d say they would first get 6-7 their first week of grinding but that would mean many hours and dedication. Also I didn’t count how long it takes for some players to get diviner’s for support. Or some players to get minstrel gear to tank. As much as you can get exotics however. Diviner’s and minstrels are a pain to get. The other set besides minstrels could be commanders however you are time gated because of the charged quarts. I didn’t count how long it takes for a person to understand their rotation or class. I didnt count how long it takes supports to understand boons they need to give. As much as people dont put it to account but fractals tie in with raids also to get better drops and gold to craft the gear you need to raid or the time you put into strikes if you want gear through that way. So compared to Pvp all you need is blue gear and level to 21 + get your pvp level to 20 then press the ranked button. For wvw get to level 60? And participate. But saying raiding is “faster” for your first set. It’s a lot more grind then what people think. And a lot of time. Not to mention less gold if you spend 2-3 hours with no kill on sloth vs pvp ranked 2 hours of pvp you get chests or wvw you get at least bags and pips and a reward track. Anyways please put into all account. Yes you can buy raid clears however buying doesn’t count for people actually putting in time.
  15. Except for the fact that you can literally just buy your way through the PvE gear. So no, hardly would consider the effort equal. I wonder if you know how expensive a kill is. The price does go higher and lower depending on the boss however let’s say it’s 400 gold per boss. 400 x 150 = 60,000 gold. Depending on the fluctuations of gem to gold conversion that’s pretty steep for just the first set. However that’s a flat rate. And most likely carrying someone through the heart achievements would most likely cost more since it would cost more time since 2 of the heart achievements the player can not die even if the boss is killed. However that’s just the first set. The second and third set is 300 LI for 1 set. So it’s 120,000 gold for the second and third set. Total if the person bought all 3 sets 400 x 750 = 300,000 gold. That’s some massive cheddar for a video game. However I don’t sell and I never bought. All I know is the gold does fluctuate higher or lower depending on the bosses. So it could be higher or lower then this assumption depending on the seller. Yeah... but buying a full wing, or even every full wing, will probably get you a hefty discount. The OP has to remember that the cost is being split among 6-9 people and has to be worth it for each of them cost wise, however. But you are way off for 400g/boss. A Samarog CM, for example, is around 275MC~ which is less than 450g~, and it's one of the harder CMs, regular bosses (especially W1-4) will go for way less than that. I'd say Dhuum is the highest value normal kill in the region of 150MC. (I am not a raid seller, but I do know some) It is still going to be thousands of gold, but nowhere near 120,000 :pLike Ali said I don’t know the prices ? but yea. No where near it but it’s still quite a bit of gold. I personally wouldn’t go that route since legendarys are pretty costly themselves. Specially since mystic coins skyrocketed. Not only you buy the raid kill but you have to still buy the armor. I mean power to them for supporting the game but it isn’t worth it.

So it could be higher or lower then this assumption depending on the seller. I've PM'd three guilds who were "selling clears" in LFG over the past week. They were the only three I saw in game for the time that I was active, and I was told that for the most part it was 30-50g /wing. There were three bosses that had their own additional fee, and they said it varies every week. Even if you only did 10 bosses every week. That is still only 15 weeks to get fully geared (once). Which is still cheaper and faster than any other method currently available. Iv heard it has been more that 30-50 gold /wing. but I’ll take you word for it. Last time it was 30-50 gold per boss but I guess seller prices change. It was also like a year ago that iv talked about it with a friend of mine. So maybe sellers did get lower. 720 gold for 6 weeks isn’t bad. However we are talking about the effort differences the don’t include buying.

  18. Highly disagree. Only because even though you dont spend much time compared to pvp and wvw however not many people can even put in the effort in pve legendary armor compared to pvp and wvw. With all do respect to people who do have legendary pvp and wvw armor. All they truly have to do is participate vs in pve you actually have to kill 150 raid kills + get certain bosses and doing tasks. Even though it tech isn’t hard to do for legendary pve armor, it is harder to majority of the player base in gw2. Therefore the people who put more effort in get a less time gate.
  19. Put this poll on reddit to get more people’s opinion. I’m just glad I’m not the only one who isn’t satisfied with this content.
  20. I’d say story gets better when you start heart of thorns. And honestly as much as I hate to say it. The story in gw2 isn’t something to look forward to. I’d honestly say the achievement quests that you do for legendaries. And killing raid wings have much more of a better story and lore then gw2 story in general. However I’d say compared to core gw2 main story compared to heart of thorns story is miles apart of how story is. Gw2 main story is yikes.
  21. I’m not complaining. I was honestly happy they announced it since I was heading towards a 4th set of armor maybe even 5th. Since the legendary armory has been announced iv been working on finishing my legendary trinkets. Still need aurora and vision, then after that weapons. Since in game build templates made legendary armor kind of meh with the swapping in a second. The armory truly makes me want to finish all the pieces what I want. Since the armory announcement now it truly entails armor and trinkets first since those would be more beneficial than 1 weapon for the armory.
  22. I would say skyscale isn’t anywhere near to how bad it was in the beginning. The charged quartz can easily be worked around by buying the supplies on the tp. Also strikes make it so you don’t have to farm any map to get currency. Just farm strikes and convert to the currency you need. I actually finished skyscale within 2 days. If you do your collections then feed the skyscale first time before reset you can actually feed him twice in one day the first time. Then wait the next reset to feed him the third time and there you go. However skyscale is annoying to do for the collection. A lot of pressing F. Provisioner tokens are actually better than what it was before. Before you could only get 12 a day. Now you can get maybe over 20 a day. However if you have a lot of mithrillium, spools, glob of elderwood. You can actually get all 300 tokens in 1 day if you made those daily. If not you can still make more than 20 a day. Which you can get 1 full set in 2 weeks. Rather than 25 days. As far as timegates go for dungeons I guess the only way would be to make legendary runes “kappa” don’t do that. I don’t think those are timegates but rather how much you farm dungeons daily. Just do 5 different dungeon paths including the dungeon you need for currency and you get an extra 120 currency. You can get about 400+ first day if you tried. So 2 days for grinding runes aren’t bad. There are other things worse in game then that. And dungeons are really easy. If you need to know easy paths spam twilight arbor and ascalon for finish for the chest.
  23. There is data in reddit about a year ago showing how many have cleared w1-3 during the time of the faster releases vs 4-7 during the time when arenanet slowed the release dates. It’s showed 20k people from gw2 eff would kill the raids between w1-3 then later on 10k killing to the later wings. To say that maybe gw2 players don’t want to play is a bad opinion. There have always been new players trying to get into the lfg and blaming the so called “elitists” to be able to raid with those groups to get the clears. There are people saying they don’t have time and blame it on the so called “taking a long time to find a group” so those people don’t try at all. The fact of the matter is if there were more wings there would be more trainings which would = more new people trying to raid. If instead of wasting time and resources on strikes rather than making an easy mode to each wing and have more skins + easy mode raid currency + raid dailies there would definitely be more players to raid. There are many people too afraid to even touch it all because the name “raid” What I meant about a misconception is arenanet thinking strikes will fix the empty raid players base in gw2. Strikes will not fix it and still has not since the first strike that’s been out for 9 months. There has been no increase in the raiding community. Strikes will be another game mode that will be left alone. Why? Because they are nothing like a raid. They are too easy and nothing In a strike punishes you to follow a mechanic. Not only that but people who do strikes still will never step foot in a raid. And the rewards are nothing to look forward to.
  24. Is arenanet support good to all customers? Yes. Is arenanet development good to all customers? No. Arenanet creates content for people who play open world and story. But for wvwers, raiders, fractal players they haven’t given anything new for quite a while. Which still has to be talked about. Arenanets goal in trying to get everyone to raid through strikes is a miss. The NA raid LFG is still quite empty and hasn’t change when strikes have been out for months. Arenanet has a misconception of (why) people do not raid. And that’s because a lot of players in gw2 don’t want to (try) to play better. Most of gw2 players blame the experience raiders for saying 30 kp on an LFG. But 30 kp isn’t a lot of kp to be hating on the commander. 30 kp is just a few kills. And not only that, new raiders need to understand that that group is meant for experienced raiders not new raiders. There is a discord full of players that do trainings every hour so there is no excuse to say they can’t or don’t have time to raid. Get in discord and join the training till you get enough kills to pug it. How hard is that when every run is like an hour away? I think arenanet just needs to clarify and talk to the new players or vets how to properly raid because people avoid raiding like it’s Aids. When raids aren’t difficult at all. Arenanet has a misconception about the end game pve community and the open world players have a huge misconception about the high end pve community. All they have to do is ask and take action to fix the problem.
  25. Strongly disagree. Mostly everyone who starts raiding ends up doing fractals. Fractals aren’t raid however t4 cms do become equivalent to 5 man raids. So easily everyone could start with lower tier fractals and earn your way up to teir 4s. Still disagree. Maybe during the first year when pof wasn’t out there wasn’t much versatility. But since pof came out there has been a variety of builds and compositions into raiding. Also there are few raids that do not require toughness agro and you can choose a different comp without the thought of a tank. For example cairn, escort, tc, rivers, all of w2, mursaat, Sam. Mursaat you don’t have a tank. You just take the fixate with o toughness and can damage the boss with it. Or you can heal and take fixate. Sam you don’t need to have toughness ether all you do is stand furthest away to take it. Versatility into raiding in gw2 there are so much that players judge to quickly without the knowledge. For example you have heal thief, boon thief, dps thief, condi thief, you have heal warrior, power banner slave, condi banner slave , heal scourge, power reaper, condi scourge, maybe even mf tank reaper if you wanted to raid for memes, condi soulbeast, power soulbeast, Druid, soulbeast handkite. So for people to say it involves holy trinity, I still think it doesn’t truly involve it because there are so many builds and choices to have in a raid that can be viable and kill the boss. The thing is, is people take snowcrows as this god tier only site, which don’t get me wrong their rotations are the only thing the average raider should go by. The compositions the average raider shouldn’t. Almost every fight snowcrows only uses 1 healer. And 90% of the time you use 2 as the average raider. But there is so much about gw2 builds and to say that we have gone holy trinity and their isn’t much versatility is yikes. Is only by opinion. I honestly say pvp community and wvw are much more toxic than raiding. But people come into a raid wing into a exp group and then mess up mechanics, someone is definitely going to say something. Which no new raider should be going into in the first place. It gw2 raid community is pretty laid back, it doesn’t justify the people who are actually toxic though
