  1. If I remember, enhanced signets were permanent when it was grandmaster trait. They restrict to shroud only when put on master. Yes they reasoned that no one used it while it was grandmaster. So they moved it and reworked it to be used only in shroud [while increasing shroud degen at the same time i believe]. and screwed up signet of vampirism and Locusts. It was likethey said "Oh since no one uses it we are gonna make it even more useless, take that you awful Signet Necros". Truth is signet necros were doing quite well at the time, not now. In PvE Signet Reaper (Signets of Suffering, Signet of Vampirism, Signet of Spite, and Signet of Undeath for longer fights) is actually great, enough to be considered META for most Raids. I don’t know about PvP and WvW since I left competitive modes long time ago. You sure about that for pve? I see nothing about it on neither snow crows or metabattle. It is kind of a hidden META you don’t find on those sites (maybe on some less popular site), but there are people running it. Basically it has roughly 6-7% less potential DPS, but the extra Life Force you get passively allows to follow the rotation without having to use off rotation skills (that would make you lose DPS) cause of the inevitable lack of Life Force of the other build. It has also superior survivability and Signet of Vampirism allows you to heal yourself either before entering in Shroud or even passively while in Shroud to get back the 5% bonus of the Scholar Runes if needed (basically without DPS loss). I’d say it can be considered the META for those situations where you can’t entirely avoid taking damage while in Shroud, unless there is a reliable and passive Life Force generation coming from the environment (like adds dying at the right moment filling your Life Force). You have to judged based on your team, on your current personal skill, and the boss. It is a pity that only a minority of Reapers knows about that. Would you please post skill and trait details? I would like to check it out.Pick Signets of Suffering instead of Awaken the Pain (Spite), pick Signet of Vampirism instead of Blood Fiend (Heal Skill), pick Signet of Undeath instead of Well of Darkness (Utility Skill). When Life Force is not an issue you can keep Well of Darkness or entirely swap back to the Snow Crows build. Template code: [&DQg1LTIlIjYoDygPdQF1AW8BbwGBAIEAlQCVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=]

  4. I have one fully geared character and I don’t plan to prepare a second one, ever. One Profession with one Elite Spec for me is more than enough and I could not play more Professions, I can barely accept the addition of new Elite Specs for the profession I chose.
  5. Sunqua Peak (especially CM) ruined my Fractal experience too, I am not able to play more than a Profession/Elite spec, but this is not the only problem, that Fractal is also truly boring and frustrating to play for me. The boss ignores the players all the time, while “continuously” moving following invisible binaries and repeating the same too dangerous attacks that often forces the players to move when he is not moving. It is also a lot harder than the other CMs (Nightmare and Shattered Observatory) that I used to enjoy a lot. I know ArenaNet is developing different Fracrals for different tastes (trying to give everyone something to enjoy), so it doesn’t really surprise me that they made a Fractal I hate.
  6. I think Fractals aggro system is more complicated than that, the core game had a far more complicated aggro system which was not the same for all enemies. The aggro based on Toughness was introduced with Raids in the first expansion.
  7. You could consider creating one or two free to play accounts that you would put in the party (this way you would have either more or total control over the party), then you can remove them as you feel comfortable with the party members you are getting.
  8. It would not change anything they would get kicked so people could change the lfg. It would be more difficult for people to do that. Part of the problem explained by the opener is that since anyone can change the lfg other people with different expectations will join. What I suggested would make more difficult for the abusers to kick the opener of the lfg (they would not have support from players that would join a modified lfg).
  9. As someone else said the old party leader system was often exploited, so it is probably not a good solution on its own. Maybe ArenaNet could simply change the lfg system to allow the editing of the lfg only to the player who posted it, as long as that player is online and in the party. This way the problem would be drastically reduced.
  10. The current Signet of Vampirism is very good in PvE, especially when picking the Signet trait too (which is great for both personal sustain and DPS), the old one only had some niche uses in PvE
  11. I would also like to see account bound removed from Ascended equipment, Legendary weapons gen 2, legendary Armor, Legendary trinkets, etc. That way I can play how I want (to get what I want), just like ArenaNet advertised the game before starting to put in the game a lot of account bound items very difficult to get.
  12. Item suggestion. Game accelerator: use this item to speed up everything in the game. Only working in your personal story instances, not working in combact. Please, so I can accelerate NPC dialogs.
  13. Also, letting it work for inviting party members in the Home Instance. I almost never used that item, simply because I started taking others in my Home Instance.
  14. Personally, I would partecipate more if the fight against Drakkar wouldn’t be so long and extremely boring. I just can’t sustain the whole fight.
  15. While the tooltip state so, it does not grants Quickness to me, it is probably a tooltip error. I hope the tooltip is not showing an upcoming nerf to Reaper Onslaught.
  16. I can’t really understand what you are experiencing, but I’d consider completely turning off the in game sound
  17. I just do not want to see ever again mobs with an absurd amount of Health like in Drizzlewood Coast North
  18. I would appreciate to see the return of these items on the Gem Store: Noble Courtier Outfit Curious Creatures Mount Select License New Horizons Mount Select License Mistborn Mount Select License Shimmerwing Skyscale Skin Ice Reaver Pauldrons
  19. When was the last time you saw that happen?Because as far as i know that was a bug that got fixed over a year ago. It's not a bug, it just happened to my squad on Saturday. It's always the same thing: some pug tries to res during a push, gets pulled or separated from the group, pulls everyone else who went down in, squad wipe. It's a wonder to me that it doesn't get fixed because it's very easy to abuse. DS4 and RS4 are both channels that apply healing/pull on each tick, interrupting the channel interrupts the related pull. F4 on scourge isn't a channel, so there's nothing to interrupt. Anyone on chrono or dh is just waiting for someone to pop transfusion, that's easy bagsTransfusion’s pull effect has a 4 (or 3) seconds internal cooldown. It is triggered only a single time by core and Reaper Shroud, as soon as the skill is casted.
  20. It is since months that Well of Blood is bugged. On my Healing Scourge it is healing for about 400 per second instead of over 1000 per second. I have only tried it in PvE.
  21. Why? The cc requirement is a lot less than t4, everything does much less damage, and you don't get downed when failing a mechanic, you just get a bit of damage, the boss has a lot less hp, the blue tether gives you stacks so slowly the mechanic becomes irrelevant. I don't think the boss should get any more easy than this otherwise people will not even realize when they make mistakes. And its important that people realize when they fail a mechanic, in fact I think the blue tether should get buffed in t1 in a way that the stacks are applied a lot quicker but the damage you get for failing it should be minor while noticeable. It's by design a mechanic heavy boss and t1 is there to learn it. So if you want people to learn the mechanics of the boss they have to be punishing enough to make them noticeable. Because if they are not people fail to learn. Another point is that Sunqua is the last frac before entering a higher tier so you can view it as a trial for the higher tier. The only criticism I have is that there is no ingame guide. There are mini bosses that should teach you the storm phase, the meteor phase and the blue tether, but the blue tether will go unnoticed. In my opinion there should be a book before the boss that explains mechanics again. To not break the immersion it could be implemented as combat notes from prior adventures or something like that. Implementing breakbar tutorial in the fractal lobby would be helpful as well. You have to consider that inexperienced players don’t generally look for well organised party compositions and often they play with other inexperienced players. The damage they can take in Sunqua Peak is far higher than what they take in any other Fractal. If someone don’t have any problem completing Sunqua Peak T1 (in a group of similarly experienced players), then could easily go straight to try most T3 Fractals (AR requirement excluded).Could be nice having to care about what happens in a fight, but almost no other Fractal forces players to do that, especially not in T1.Also, Most players doing T1 Fractal could be inexperienced players which have yet to learn the basics of the combat system (which the game totally fail at teaching), and that often feel overwhelmed by all the things they have to learn and pay attention to. Imagine a group of inexperienced players that try Sunqua Peak T1, suffering for hours at the last boss (something common), failing or barely completing it. Most of them would barely learn anything, also they could not want to try it ever again. We are talking about the lowest Fractal tier and Fractal is the main instanced repeatable content still supported by ArenaNet and available to any player since level 80. I see no reason to give such an unpleasant experience to new players. Sure, they could just avoid that Fractal and many of them will do that.
  22. Agony excluded, right now for inexperienced players doing T1 Fractals, fighting the last boss of Sunqua Peak is kind of like fighting a strong T4 boss (obviously a really frustrating experience). I’m confident ArenaNet can see or at least guess the problem by watching at their metrics. The difficulty at low tiers needs to be reduced a lot to make it more in line with other low tier Fractals.
