  1. „Upon dealing strike damage using a weapon skill with a recharge time of 20 seconds or more, gain 10% strike damage for 6 seconds. Refreshes duration on stack. (Cooldown: 15 Seconds)„ Sadly it doesn‘t work with Advancing Strike in PvP despite it being a skill with exactly 20s cooldown. Would appreciate a fix. Thank you
  2. It has been a while since the last Tournament of Legends (2021) and I wanted to ask if that concept is dead or if we will get a competitive tournament from ArenaNets side? Alot of people would appreciate it and I don’t think it would take much effort from ArenaNet to host them once a year.
  3. 100% agree and making reveal more accessible would be great move to balance a broken mechanic like stealth without much effort. And I wouldn’t stop there - every class should at least have 1 core weapon skill that reveals - pistol 5 on mesmer, focus 4 on guard, shield 4 on warrior, warhorn 4 on necro etc etc. Playing without reveal is like playing without stunbreak in my opinion, since it is the only counterplay to stealth - so every class should have access to it
  4. I know of that bug and it only happens if you press spacebar while landing on the launchpad. You need to press spacebar, jump on the launchpad and not press spacebar again in order for the bug not to happen
  5. Hello boss, I need to know if there is a food available in Guild Wars 2 that is or comes close to a kebab, because I want to open up an RP kebab shop in the Heart of the Mists in order to keep players supplied with food in between PvP matches. Can’t find anything on Wiki and I need answers - thank you boss
  6. Pretty sure most of you have seen the new Studio Post about the Relic System - so thought I make a thread for the community to post some Relics they would like to see in PvP in order to give ArenaNet some inspiration and make it easier for them to choose the right Relics for PvP. My personal suggestion would be a Relic that would grant 3s of Quickness and 6s of Fury after Healing Skill usage with an ICD of 30s. I think there are alot of power builds that are starving for some Fury and Quickness access and it would for sure open up some more possibilities for theorycraft. What kind of Relics would you like to see?
  7. Drazeh is testing Cata match-ups on stream right now and it is still winning against everything. Stop spreading nonsense.
  8. Signet and power Cata still free winning basically every match-up in the game Truly an uninstall angle
  9. Maybe should have touched that Resistance uptime on Catalyst and gave the Stab trait an internal cooldown. Catalyst will stay strong
  10. In a few hours we will know if this will be an uninstall angle
  11. Not sure if CMC is aware that Willbender in PvP is in a horrendous state at the moment, but damage skills have horrible tracking, the Physical Skills are mostly useless, the traits Conceited Curate and Deathless Courage are not used and the overall biggest issue is the sustain of the spec. Here are a few changes with trade-offs that would put Willbender in a better spot in PvP: Adjustment of Physical Skills - Heavens Palm needs some baked-in sustain in order for it to replace Renewed Focus. Increase the cooldown to 60s and make it recharge Crashing Courage (F3) on successful impact. Replacing Renewed Focus would make Willbender a bit squishier, but would turn it into what it was supposed to be - a CC based spec that could pin opponents down and actually land its skills - Add a high damage, single target flipover skill to Heel Crack that - together with Heavens Palm - would act as a 2nd CC and combo extender, because Heel Crack as a skill is so underwhelming it wouldn‘t ever be picked as a CC option on its own - no one would waste a Utility slot for the skill even if ways of pinning someone down are desperately needed on the spec - Remove the Blind from Roiling Light and make it remove 3 conditions so it can be used as an option to replace the Meditation Contemplation of Purity Consider giving back the second Flowing Resolve (F2) charge - After the removal of the 2nd Flowing Resolve (F2) charge Willbender still saw play until Sword Off-hand and Rushing Justice (F1) were nerfed, which makes Berserker amulet a more favorable choice than Marauder Amulet for Willbenders in PvP at the moment. Giving back some sustain would be very much appreciated since we run around with less HP than before. Willbender as a spec is so insanely easy to balance via damage nerfs that a nerf of Flowing Resolve (F2) was completely over the top and just created an unnecessary split between the gamemodes Small Changes to Conceited Courage and Deathless Courage - I know that the Skills Team dislikes when specs have access to both Quickness and Alacrity. However Guardian as a class has horribly slow weapons with bad skill tracking if it doesn‘t have access to Quickness. A great work-around would be to make the grandmaster trait Deathless Courage a source of non-sharable Quickness for Willbender when we use Crashing Courage (F3) - that way Willbenders would have the choice between having access to Alacrity, Quickness or high Lethal Tempo damage via the Grandmaster traits - Please make Conceited Courage increase the Vitality of a Willbender instead of its Healing Power, so we can have around 2,000 more base-HP and don‘t have to walk around as 11K HP oneshots Remove the Root from Zealot‘s Defense (Sword 3) - in the recent patches the Skills Team has been busy reworking clunky, old skills - one big source of pain and frustration for many Guardian builds is the unnecessary root on Zealot‘s Defense (Sword 3). Theoretically it doesn‘t even have bad tracking, just the side-effect of being rooted and not able to adjust your character to the movements of opponents makes its projectiles miss more often than they need to when the damage of it isn‘t that high to begin with. You could even nerf the damage by 10%, just give us the possibility to move while casting it Make Valor Willbender an Option The recent balance patch has put Valor Meditation builds in a worse spot through the longer cooldown of the Elite Renewed Focus when running the Meditation trait Monks Focus. The compensation has been very underwhelming. Increasing the Fury duration from 4s to 6s and adding 1.5s of Resistance on Meditation use to Monks Focus would be an exciting compensation I think these changes aren‘t too over the top, would give the spec more build options, put it in a far better spot in PvP, offer a more enjoyable playstyle to the players and turn Willbender into a CC based spec that can actually „bend someone’s will“.
  12. Ever since 2013 I have been wondering if Dolyaks can be compared to IRL cows. If that is the case, what sound do they make? Do they simply „moo“ like every other cow does? Do they have udders that produce milk? And if so, what does Dolyak milk taste like? I think I would be a person who would enjoy Dolyak milk, yogurt or cheese. I need answers QUICKLY. Thank you.
  13. Imagine having a spec with perma stab, resistance, perma prot, auras, barrier, block, reflects, invul, super speed, stuns, cooldown reduction elite, 20 weapon skills, quickness and 25 stacks of might that does ranged damage and got nearly all of its weapons reworked. I am predicting that even after a hotfix cata will stay broken for another 6 months or so
  14. Willbender Physical Skills need to be reworked as most of them don’t see any play in any gamemode. Whirling Light should be the flip-over skill of Heel Crack, Heavens Palm should recharge Crashing Courage (F3) if successfully landed while having increased cooldown and add a new Physical Skill that would replace Whirling Light, if it would turn into a flip-over skill of Heel Crack - could really be anything that requires little animations or coding like a 2s block. These 3 changes would instantly make Willbender Physical Skills see play in all gamemodes and would make Willbender feel like what it was supposed to be - a DPS with USEFUL crowd-control that “bends an enemy’s will”.
  15. Have tried Longbow Willbender, Axe Dragonhunter, Sword + Sword Dragonhunter and Core Guard with multiple options in PvP and the only spec that benefited from the choice in weapons was Core Guard, which just shows - together with the fact that Support Core Guard is the best performing Guardian spec - how badly designed and/or overnerfed Guardian Elite Specs really are. Longbow Willbender: Was extremely underwhelming, because we can’t get the necessary hits in for trigger-based Willbender virtues or Lethal Tempo in PvP. Willbender Physical Skills are melee-based and already do nothing for melee versions of Willbender - on ranged versions they feel even worse. I would suggest to give Physical Skills an actual purpose by reworking them to skills with benefitial effects, so Willbenders don’t have to rely soley on triggers to have impact. Increasing Heavens Palm cooldown, making it refresh Crashing Courage and turning Whirling Light into the Flip-Over Skill of Heel Crack would open up so many more options for Willbender. Axe Dragonhunter: Dragonhunter doesn’t have any working condition build to support a condition-based weapon like Axe - reason for that is that neither Dragonhunter traits nor traps offer any form of burn. Reworking Piercing Light to give like 3 Stacks of Burn instead of Slow when Traps are triggered would be a reasonable change since the cooldown reduction got removed. If it was just 1 stack of Burn, Axe as a weapon would stay useless on Dragonhunter Sword + Sword Dragonhunter: Could have technically worked, but there is no chance for a spec with 11k base HP to be going melee in PvP. The different HP tiers were meant to make up for the Stealth, Block and Heal access some classes have. In modern GW2 where every class has access to them the concept different HP tiers feels like it just adds an artificial handicap to low-HP classes. Firebrand (any): Every DPS Firebrand version is genuinely weak in PvP and doesn‘t benefit from power weapons like offhand Sword or Longbow. I would give some suggestions, but Power Firebrand will never be a thing when even Support Firebrand struggles. Might be wrong, but next Expansion will most likely offer no new viable builds or weapon choices for Guardian in PvP, which feels extremely bad.
  16. Couldn’t agree more - there are specs that don’t see competitive play at all and ArenaNet seriously decided to rework most Elementalist weapons & elite specs over the span of one year despite it being competitive meta and having multiple viable elite specs. And now they wonder, why most people dislike this patch
  17. I hope CMC will be finished reworking Elementalist weapons and Warrior traitlines soon - pretty weird to see the 2 classes he used to play getting all the reworks for over a year despite being already strong picks in PvP. Some people may call it biased, but hey keep up the “good work”. My bet is that the patch after this one will probably include a rework for Elementalist Focus as well after Scepter, Staff, Dagger mainhand and Dagger offhand already got theirs. There are specs that haven’t been touched in PvP for over a year and don‘t see play while CMC is busy giving already broken classes that see play in Monthly Automated Tournament Semis & Finals such as Catalyst, Berserker & Untamed even more alternatives. For PvP this patch will make the gap between viable and unviable specs even wider and the reactions below the post tell everything about the quality of this balance update.
  18. Renewed Focus being on 110s cooldown even if you spec into Valor hurts all Guardian Valor builds in PvP and Valor builds already aren‘t doing pretty well. I agree that the usual 84s cooldown for RF with Monk’s Focus would be far too short, but I would suggest that going for the middle ground is correct move to make. 95s cooldown for Renewed Focus sounds like a good compromise or make it so Monk’s Focus only reduces the cooldown of Renewed Focus instead of all Meditations. The Firebrand Mantra change will also effectively do nothing for Firebrand in PvP, because Firebrand already has a reliable double cleanse with Regeneration if traited on 6s cooldown in Tome of Resolve (F2) and because Signet of Mercy, “Stand Your Ground!” and Advance!” are mandatory in the kit of a Support Firebrand in PvP. While the one Mantra was buffed all the other ones got nerfed by not getting the charge cooldown reduction anymore. Increasing page regeneration or the base heal of the smaller charges for Mantra of Solace in PvP would have been more impactful changes. Lastly - some changes to Willbender Physical Skills or Traits would have also been appreciated.
