  1. I can already hear the others laughing and pointing to legendary armour and weapons......and I can't help but chime in. I'm sorry.
  2. To be precise, they are running on Vanilla Forums
  3. Agreed! To whoever is managing the website, hope this helps: Culprit seems to be the ".userContent.Message" CSS class which sets the font-size to 14px. Please at least set it to something more reasonable such as 18px.
  4. Is this Anet's way of reminding us that VISIONS of the Past is coming soon? Culprit seems to be the ".userContent.Message" CSS class which sets the font-size to 14px. Please at least set it to something more reasonable, such as 18px.
  5. Or, just give all classes one sword that auto attacks only and does 1000 damage, give everyone 10000 HP, and....that's it! No unique skills, traits, other weapons, armour, trinkets, runes, sigils, conditions, boons, etc. But when you kill 65,535 enemies consecutively without taking damage you get the legendary sword, which does 1001 damage, thus giving you a very significant advantage over everybody else. Oh and once in a while the black lion market will feature sword skins
  6. Oh, but it is. Because they sure don't need to kill ALL the mobs, or do they? And then nag here about "ultra casuals" not being good. Like, seriously? Now we'll call newbies ultra casuals, push them away by being kittens in starter maps and then what? Cry that Anet drives (new) players away? So what do you want level 80s to do in low-level zones? Stand back and do /cheer when non-level 80s kill something? Not participate in daily events in low-level zones?
  7. If janky playstyle means that you have to time and use your skills wisely and timing is important, then those janky playstyles do deserve to deal more power; it just means that people have optimised their play style to a certain degree. On the subject of classes getting nerfed based on popularity, see these numbers: https://gw2efficiency.com/account/player-statistics It's very clear (as of the time of this writing) that guardians are the most popular, yet during the last "balance" patch, they walked away almost unscathed relative to the other classes
  8. I don't think it's inconsiderate level 80s at fault; I think it's the way they are scaled based on the zone. A level 80 isn't going to say "Oh, a level 5 person, I'd better give him a chance to kill those mobs while I hang back and watch him/her". Level 80s also want to kill mobs
  9. You can make more than one of Aurora, Vision, the 3 backpieces, and the ring??? Because I would love to be able to play with different characters having different effects, without having to unequip, swap, requip. Rings no, backpiece yes. The WvW one can be made multiple times. The fractal and pvp one are 1nce per account only currently.I'd really like to see an opportunity remake Aurora and Vision, just like how you can re-make legendary armour and some legendary weapons.
  10. There's already females with skimpy armour skins and buttcapes everywhere. Adding sweat is just going to make GW2 look more like an MMO version of the Dead or Alive series. Why don't you add in beach volleyball while you're at it? Not that I'm against it..
  11. This is contrary to what they said many, many times before that which was that LS1 was always in their hearts and they were always looking for a way to bring it back, but just didn't have the tech available at the time, since it needed alot of asset translation. They were building some of these tools and used them for Old Lion's Arch, several Fractals like Aetherblades, etc. Could you link directly to a post, please? Here you go, see Mike’s response: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/6pj6wm/comment/dkprv68 To directly quote him: “ But we researched it a while back and realized that restoring and updating Season 1 content, and putting it into episode format, isn't particularly easier than making new episodes. And we think the community is better served with new episodes.”
  12. By that logic then PvP and WvW aren't valid responses as well since MUCH of the player base don't do PvP and WvW but PvE. By definition, this too, is a "meaningless cop out response" Not really, since we are talking about Mesmer post 2/25 patch which was pvp/wvw focused. I think its MORE rando by far to suggest everything is ok cause...raids. People are upset because chrono was already nerfed into being ok when FB isnt available and now mostly because Mirage has been killed. The strenght of Mirage was always pvp/wvw for endgame for many players. Many players who have never raided and dont want to raid. Im speaking for them. Edited: Also the OP specifically asked about wvw builds and if they are still working.Yes, OP did ask specifically about WvW, however what I’m replying to is your reply to “You made it sound like Mirage/Chrono is garbage in every gamemode.”, and your reply was “It basically is”; hence you were talking about all gamemodes and not just WvW.
  13. The OP was very clearly asking about WvW and not PVE. You made it sound like Mirage/Chrono is garbage in every gamemode. It basically is. Mirage and Support/DPS-Chrono are both Meta on several Raid bosses. And that amounts to 0,0001% of the game Mirage and Support/DPS-Chrono are both garbage for the remaining 99,9999% of the game You are delusional. You are the delusional one. Playing Mesmer is like running a marathon barefoot over broken glass while the rest of racers are wearing shoes and running over a smooth track. its an exercise in masochism, there's zero reason to make things so much worse for yourself for absolutly no reason at all when every other profession is at a minimum just as efficient and oftenly more, while being a billion times easier to play and more survivableSo, by argument: 1) If players playing mesmers are still able to deliver the same amount of DPS and support (or better) as every other class,but2) Playing any other class except mesmer is "a billion times easier to play and more survivable", as you put it, Then, that makes people playing mesmers a billion times more skilled than every other class. If that's the case, people who play mesmers are at the top of their game.
  14. Not sure if you’re talking about nerfing CC or damage; sounds like both. Tail Spin does damage and pulls but it’s the Springer’s Cannonball that does CC
  15. The outrage can be found in PvP. For PvE, the attitude is mostly "yet another alleged 'balance' patch"
  16. By that logic then PvP and WvW aren't valid responses as well since MUCH of the player base don't do PvP and WvW but PvE. By definition, this too, is a "meaningless cop out response"
  17. I believe that Visions of the Past has only been limited to the Icebrood Saga; more specifically, the Steel Warband. From the official description of Visions of the Past: "Scry into the past and witness what life is like as a member of Ryland's elite Steel Warband" Second, it has been made clear to us by Anet that LS1 is never going to come back. Even if hell froze over twice, in no way are the devs bringing back LS1. Source: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/29663/living-world-season-1-should-it-be-back
  18. They probably already looked into it but they're just staying silent
  19. Isn't your suggestion for auto-selling scrap the same as clicking on the "Sell Junk" button on a merchant?
  20. I would say just delete or retire your mesmer. No point in playing one. They arent good enough in fractals, or other content to compete with other classes. Core is underpowered in pvp/wvw and chrono/mirage are dead in pvp/wvw. THe only thing a mesmer is still good for is Open World content,if you can call that a thing worthy of being good at. I suggest retire, play FB, War, or other better classes with proper DPS that can play in other game modes. Why would you even ask? You missed raids, where chronos are still in demand as support roles. Also, mesmer dps on PvE are different; they don't deliver 'burst DPS' like FB but they have better 'sustain DPS'.
  21. They're saving the next balance patch for guardians and no other profession crosses fingers and toes
  22. That's a bit presumptuous. Actually, that is VERY presumptuous. No addons officially, but there are some third party programs that help with maps and resources; TacO (Tactical Overlay) is one. Technically you can use (or create) any third party programs as long as it doesn't violate the terms. Thanks for the answer. Yes i seen that taco addon , but couldnt understand how to install it.Here you go: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/39973/vid-how-to-install-taco-for-guild-wars-2-with-tekkits-workshop-guides
  23. What you are describing is a "pay to win" option that will severely imbalance the game.
  24. If all damage from CC skills will be removed, then a new utility slot should be added just for CC; it shouldn't take up any of the utility slots which do damage
