  1. please no. I really dont want any more WoW flashbacks. They allready pulled the ancient dragon goes off, wrecks the world and changes all the maps trick. Its not a novel idea. It was also the meh expansion that got me to kick the habbit back in the day. While I wouldnt mind seeing something like a revitalized orr I dont want all the old maps changed up and muck up the flow of the storyline.
  2. I agree. best change of the whole patch. always took forever to get the beetle going if bond wasnt up ( and several seconds with)
  3. When I tome a character I start shoving most of the unsalvageable stuff into the mystic toilet. Can clear out most of them prety fast that way and get at least a little salvage out of it. That said I would be fine with a "Reject All" option as none are anything I'd miss. A couple of material bags, a couple of random boosters and an ecto are the main takeaways that I would even vaguely care about at this point.
  4. Frankly I prefer the current UA just from the look of it. If you have alot of energy banked you can stack silly amounts of torment very quickly. Mostly only useful in PVE but can punish anyone who disrespects the pizza of doom you just piled on top of yourself. they call the new version a setup skill but I ask setup for what? They are changeing the two skills that a Mallax rev would actualy want to yank groups of enemies into. could see a bit of group play but I dont see it being all that valuable outside of zerg on zerg in WvW.
  5. Some further info now that I finally lucked out and got through the event. I had to wait for the map to reset at the end of the chak garent encounter. I noticed that the moment of reset the event could start up in one of two states. The first has you escorting Grub Master Jephtl with the objective "Accompany Grub Master Jephtl." This is an unbuged state. Jephtl will run down to the grub pits along with another nuhoch from the village and the event can progress. The other state it can spawn in is directly to the "Larvae Population" state. Jephtl will spawn down in the grub pits with the progress bar already visable along with several grubs missing the shield icon. The bonus guard is also missing (he's still up in the village). This is a buged state and it seems no amount of progress or trying to force the bar to 0 will get you past about 80% completion. Incidentally it seems that unbuged maps are cursed to be the one that gets closed after garent fight. I sat through 8 resets trying to get this achievement done. 3 times I got unbuged meta's, all 3 got selected to close and the first two I failed to complete it solo in the time limit, third time I managed to taxi a few people in through LFG. Hopefuly this is enough info to track down and squash the bug. Alternitively could I recommend a failsafe state. Have a 20 min timer to compleat the event before it fails and forces Jephtl to respawn from the start and try agian. that would at least give the option to wait out a buged start without haveing to wait a full day/night cycle.
  6. I can confirm still bugging out, currently blocking me from compleating Chuka and Champawat III till I can find a map that it works on.

Got a new title and 9 achievement points out of it. kinda meh but I had a pile of the things siting in my materials tab (5 stacks per type in my case) and I'll probably fill that back up in a week or two. Mithril tends to be one of the mats I'm always haveing to offload to the AH because I filled up. I would like to know what that whole thing was about though as I had to leave after it was stuck on 100% for an hour. Ooooof, what was the new title? This kind of annoys those that are capped on AP too so any little bits help.The title was "Mystic Benefactor" awarded from an achievement of the same name (all under genderal/tradesman) worth 3 points. that one was for donating one of each level (1, 10, 25, 100, 250 mats as I recall) Then there was achievements for "Mystic Forge "Researcher"" 1-3. Those required 250 for the first one, 500(beyond the first 250) for the second and another 750 for the third, awarding 1 2 and 3 points respectively. There was a final Mystic Forge "Researcher" with no number after that that was a repeatable 1k donated for 3 points max of 15. I didnt bother with the repeatable.

  9. A few tweeks sure but I dont think it should have unrestricted. I played WoW back both before and after flying mounts were implemented. As fun as mostly unrestricted flight was it also took something away from the game.
  10. I'd be down for a bit more speed on the decent (aka speed when holding the decend button) just because sometimes I want to get on the ground a bit faster without fully dismounting. I dont think it needs faster in the other directions. If anything the only mod I'd love to see is let it just slowly crawl along walls during a cling. Letting it crawl along walls like a geko would be a fairly novel movement option compared to the other mounts and allow you to keep acceding. bunny would be faster if there was ledges but skyscale can go till you run out of cliff. Not a deal breaker though as I'm overall happy with the skyscale so far.
  11. Alot of what your going to need is a good team build of heroes. That said when I did my HOM stuff back in the day I did it mostly with an assasin. Lots of good mobility and defensive options and also able to dish out prety good damage.
  12. minions are done horribly and that's from a necro main, in GW i could at least make my personal meat shield, in GW2 i can barely make a party worth using. I blame the shift from instanced to open world for this. I remember running the typical MM in GW1 before they capped the max amount of minions and you basically had an army of up to 20+ minions. Good times. Heh I remember doing that in factions in that one mission where 2 parties come in from different sides and have to fight off waves of afflicted. You could basicly do that whole mission with 2 necromancers, one for each side just standing there and summoning as fast as you could. An army of 30-40 minions per necro was glorious. I was so bumed when they nerfed it to 10 minions. Then agian it made blood of the master a tad less risky as prior to the nerf you could potentialy end up with an army big enough to nuke your health from full in a single cast.

I did the first couple the normal way then decided my time was more valueable than the 4 gold per sub achievement so just bought the remaining 15 vendor components I needed, cooked everything up on my chef, drooped them in a shared inventory slot as I was too lazy to even go to the bank and bounced around to each map called for and poped the things.I actualy apreciated the design of this leg of the collection. an easteregg hunt to go through a pile of jumping puzzles and a few world bosses or the option to just throw gold at the problem. Frankly if throwing gold at it would have worked I'd have done that for a couple of the saddle collection bits as well.
  14. Alot of the time different professions are not going to have a direct analog of the abilities another has. No other class has an analog of elemental atunments, the only thing close is engineer kits and those are utilities. While I wouldnt mind the ability to reorganize the skill order on a few weapons for all the class special skills you would need to reprogram your brain each time you switch characters anyway as they wont have the same tools. Sorry to say this sounds like more of an edge case than a nessicary QoL change.
  15. Personaly I would just normalize the income for the currencies. Ishtan and dragonfall are fairly easy to collect 250 in. The rest take significantly longer with a few being abysmal grinds. Boost the amount of currency for daily's and hearts in the other maps and 250 wouldn't be too bad. I've finished with diflourite and after that grind I never want to see that map agian.
